*TAURUS* 2014 Solar/Lunar Guidance

MONTHLY *SOLAR* GUIDANCE: As the Sun moves in to Taurus, it is time to see what new forms are worth strengthening & cultivating for the year. When you plant seeds, you never know which will take root, but now you should see some promise around some of the intentions you set for 2014. Our ongoing mantra these days is: Is it worth it? The general energies are intense and transformative and this month, things may get literal. Taurus gets us present to our creature comforts and basic security needs like food, sex & money.  This is an *Annual* Activation for everyone, but for the *Fixed* Family, it can be a little more intense & personal ... Taurus *Initiation* ~ Scorpio *Integration* ~ Leo/Aquarius *Test/Growth*.     

Taurus also represents the Gate of Power, the Mid-Point between Spring & Summer. This is a Infinitely potent time ~ "in between" ~ a place, also referred to as the "Sweet Spot" - that very thin membrane between *SEED* and *NEW* Life ... between *Spring* Equinox (seed) and *Summer* Solstice (new life). It reminds us of the beauty and sustenance Mother Earth has always provided, not just for humans, but for all life on this planet.

    

It is time to tune in, harmonize and synchronize your rhythm with Nature's rhythm. Just like we invite the Invisible Assistance & Ancestors during the November Scorpio Gate of Power which honors Death (in the Life/Death/Life Cycle), we now honor renewed Life, and can now invite the Elementals, Nature Spirits, Devas and the Plant Kingdom in to conscious collaboration, honoring their teachings and sacrifices made to assist, feed and support life on this Planet in ways humans may not always be aware or capable of.

   

This is a time to celebrate fertility, abundance and our relationship to Mother. It is a time to celebrate all that you have created and contributed to, while mindfully preserving *Life* along the way. Ritual, dance, drumming, toning and/or chanting are always used in celebrations of Earth and her bounty, as is wearing or surrounding your Self with *Green* ~ the color of Life/Love ~ and the Heart Chakra.

  

Finally, lending weight to the energies this go-round is Juno in Taurus. Juno takes about 4-years to move through the zodiac, so the last time it was in Taurus was March/April 2010. Again, my Fixed Babies may feel this one a little more strongly than most, but certainly we can all take advantage of her added energy. As we cultivate the Garden, Juno reminds us that we are IN PARTNERSHIP with Mother Earth, and this is a reminder to deepen our dedication to living in more balanced, natural ways. As we finish up the Taurus/Scorpio Eclipses, we have this additional support to commit to LIFE. Patriarchal dominance is a death-oriented system that is unsustainable. Life is created by both the Sacred Masculine & the Sacred Feminine, one or the other cannot create alone, and neither can we.

 

It is time to be grateful for the advances of technology, while still honoring that Nature takes time to cultivate and fully develop Life before it is ripe for the sharing. We must slow down and allow natural processes their time to fully develop otherwise, we miss the sweetness & nutrient. There is much energy for change, which can be chaotic and unsettling, however, you should already be aware of the core issues for you/yours so use this month's energy tune in to any internal 'famine' and know that all you need, desire & deserve is already here. All you need to do is align with it and create space for it in your life. Miracles abound!

 

Even the Divinations guide us toward an understanding of 'As above, so below' ~ that we ARE the bridge between Heaven & Earth; that we are Spirits having a Human experience and we spend most of our lives just coming to terms with the limitations of our earthly bodies ; -) and Taurus time invites us to experience the pleasure & sustenance Mother provides and give deep gratitude for such bounty! The body, like fruit & flowers, has a natural lifespan that is not long by any measure so enjoy the time you have, bask in the present moment, for it truly is a gift.

 

MONTHLY *LUNAR* GUIDANCE: If you missed last month's Lunar/Solar Guidance, I recommend it as these two lunations are related and rolling one in to the other and that missive "set up" this week's continued focus. This week is even more potent and telling! I've mentioned that we have a 'double dose of Sacred Feminine energy to a single dose of Sacred Masculine' and for the guidance this month, I pulled all four Sisters + one Brother! More importantly, Earth Brother & Earth Sister are the only two "mortals" in this version of the tarot, which too, is speaking directly to each of us and our humanity. It is time to fulfill our potential and rise to the next level in every way. That said, we are still talking 'fundamentals' and the basics of life and living on this planet. So don't be overwhelmed, instead, SIMPLIFY, PRIORITIZE & RE-DISTRIBUTE YOUR ENERGY & RESOURCES. The Aquarius Last Qtr Moon (4/22) may be challenging you to own your Truth in a completely new way because the old Truth no longer applies. You may have grown accustomed to certain habits, where your food, sex & money are concerned, that will no longer work or support you. This tests you to release the old way and be radically different. The catch is to stay centered in your *HEART* (Leo) as you commit to change and let go of an old way of living your life. What's Truth for you NOW?

  

This leads to the Taurus New Moon/Solar Eclipse (4/29) which is a very powerful Eclipse for all! It is time to set your intentions for the most beautiful, abundant *Garden* your imagination can dream up ~ Right Now! It's time to set your intentions for how you want to live - physically - literally - in your body. How is your physical reality? How equally do you distribute your resources of time, energy & money? Do you find yourself at "zero" on one or all of these (time, energy, money)? How often do you live at "zero"? How often do you experience "full" (plenty-full-satisfied)? When do you experience balance in your physical life, when you get enough rest, play, work & silence?

     

Taurus is always about enjoying the natural, physical life of living on Earth ~ all senses are engaged and deeply valued for each gift they bring to your individual experience. Your senses, like your heart, communicates directly 'from you - to you' and no translator is necessary. A lot of our world forces us to dull our senses because the way we're living is so unnatural that our bodies literally rebel. The last year and a half has been a "rewiring" process of revealing the decay and what is no longer sustainable, and now, with the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Taurus, we can initiate completely NEW ways of living physical life. More focus on the abundance and sustainability ~ more integration and practice of true balance, within and without - more conscious awareness of 'price vs. cost' to our Souls as well as to the environment - more gratitude - more beauty - more lifeforms living in true harmony.

    

This Taurus/Scorpio eclipse series is almost over, this is the final Taurus New Moon and we have the final Scorpio New Moon in October when we will also realign our true power & a renewed discipline that deeply respects and reveres Nature herself as the Source of our supply. For over a year now, how we physically live on Earth and how we utilize Mother's many natural resources has completed a 20-yr cycle, which is naturally part of a couple of much larger cycles. There has been a bit of the 'gorge theory of pleasure' but that is unsustainable. The current rewiring, post-2012, is bringing the Sacred Feminine back in to conscious equal partnership with the Sacred Masculine, which promotes & sustains LIFE! One without the other does not work, for us or the planet. As we practice individual balance and internal harmony, we will start to see that Mother's abundance & security surrounds us, now & always. What physical reality would bring you the most physical pleasure & personal security? What is NATURAL for you personally? What are you ready to invest in?

 

The Leo First Qtr Moon (5/6) actually falls on the Taurus Gate of Power, so this is a potent day and week for initiating new Heart-Centered ways of living your physical, daily life. Where is the Heart in your life, that undeniable passion that sparks you from within? Where is the love in your life? How often do you laugh and play and just relax with friends? All this needs to be integrated in to your life on a regular basis, you may have been in a famine for way too long (many have). Use this Sacred week to connect to your own wealth, count your blessings and look for solid ways to expand that wealth in some kind of way. Check in with your magnetics, what are you attracting? what are you repelling?

     

This is the Mid-Point between Spring & Summer and it is a prime opportunity to access balance and equilibrium prior to the extremes associated with the coming season. You have 6-wks to rectify accounts and clear space for the bounty coming your way. You have done a LOT of literal and spiritual work over the last 2-5 years and this is a growth & development kind of time. Even if you are overwhelmed, you have to have some idea of how you'd like to live differently. Say a prayer inviting your Higher Self and your personal Guides (of which you have many assigned to you from birth) to clear the path for you so you can make the best choices for YOU! Ask them to align you with the energy and the resources to stabilize your life. You are deeply supported to do all this in a NEW way.

 

The Scorpio Full Moon (5/14) is powerful release time! We are literally coming to the end of a 2-month eclipse *Portal* and life will never be the same again. This is the week we completely release the past and compost all the death & negativity we've witnessed or experienced in the last several years. We have learned and lived SO much in the last 2-5 years, as well as the last 10 & 20 years, as we crossed over 2012. We are in such new territory that the only things you can take with you now are internal, on a Soul level - that's your power and your wealth now. It's time to conceive the new, then the Gemini lunation will explore the possibilities, while the Cancer lunation will figure out what truly feeds, sustains & protects you, and then the Leo lunation will test you further on the very things coming up for you NOW.

     

If you haven't conversed with your Soul in a while, now is the time to get reconnected. That connection is NEVER lost, but only needs regular fortification to serve you well. The guidance further supports this notion of the inner connection that creates the outer reality: "The Water Sister represents the power of the emotions and the unconscious/subconscious to give sustenance to idea. Since she is born from the unification of her father and mother, Fire and Water (the superconscious and the subconscious), she symbolizes the process of creation; the beginning of imagination on the physical plane."

The focus of my work is Cycles, Patterns and Personal Rhythm. I enjoy helping people unlock the potential of their own unique blueprint (chart) and I am deeply passionate about supporting people as they explore & develop their own personal *Rhythm* (cycles).  Beyond that, I love when people start to master their rhythm and begin to dance with the Universal *Rhythm* more freely and effectively because they are stronger and more centered in their Authentic Self. SUN ~ Annual Solar Cycle 2013 ~ every month the Sun changes Sign around the 20th of the month.  It is this time when you should consider getting your personal Monthly *Tools*.

MOON ~ Eclipses/Nodes 2013 ~ we will be dealing, primarily, with Scorpio/Taurus Eclipses, however, we still have one Sag Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse (5.25.2013) to complete the last couple of years of energy work ... while we will also get introduced to what's coming next with the Aries Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse (10.18.2013).  Keep in mind, Eclipse themes that *overlap* like this make the year (2013) extremely *transitional* and usually more intense as well.  These Eclipse Cycles coincide with the Lunar Nodes movement and this year we are dealing with a Scorpio North Node, while releasing imbalances around the Taurus South Node issues.

MERCURY ~ Retro ALL Water 2013 ~ every 5+ years, Mercury does its 3-4 Retrogrades in a year through ALL One Element. 2013 brings ALL Water, meaning our ideas, thoughts, perceptions, conceptions, as well as how we communicate & express ourselves, is going to be *Emotionally* Based and decidedly driven by our *Feeling* Nature.  For some, that will be a piece of cake, for others not-so-much. VENUS ~ 2nd Leg of Gemini *Journey & Process* 2012-2013 ~ Reclamation of Divine Feminine/Gemini in Preparation for Capricorn ~ This deserves a complete article to truly describe the energetic work we are doing with Venus this year.  But there are two points I want to make: (1) Venus in Capricorn Jan 8 - Feb 1, 2013 is the *preview* of the coming extended 4-month stay in Capricorn toward the end of this year (Nov 5 - Mar 5, 2014) and subsequent Retrograde: 12.21.2013/Direct: 1.31.2014.  And (2) Venus still has much work left with the Gemini *Theme* as she embarks on the second and final leg of that journey initiated April 2012.
    
As Venus goes to the Underworld (pause for the cause) mid-February, she has a couple of *KEY* Meetings with Sun/Moon/Mars/Uranus before Rising as the Evening Star in early-May 2013.  We should consider using this time to clarify the value of all the ideas, thoughts and concepts we have *released* over the last 9-12 months, and acknowledge that we've created *space* for NEW ideas, thoughts and concepts to infuse every Chakra with an Authentic Voice that expresses Self in a higher, more delicious Venusian way.  This work will anchor your NEW *Values & Priorities* so they support you going forward. Remember:  Sun (Identity/Source Energy) ~ Venus (Love/Beauty/Abundance) ~ Uranus (Awakening/Liberation) are linking up at 8* Aries on March 28, 2013.  Then Venus/Mars do *Sacred* Union on 4.6.2013 at 19* Aries.  These *behind the scenes* contacts (and where they fall in YOUR chart) will inform your Self-Work and Soul-Searching before the VERY DISTINCT shift of Venus' direction from *Release* to *Reclamation* kicks in to action.
    
MARS ~ 3rd Leg of Virgo *Journey & Process* 2011-2013 ~ Mars spent 8-months in Virgo (11/2011 - 7/2012) in what I've since dubbed the 8-month *investment* for a 16-month *return* and we are now at the *Mid-Point* of that 16-months as Mars moves through Pisces (2/1 - 3/12.2013).  It's a good time to review those materials and check to see if you are on-track.  Those most directly affected are my *Mutable* Babies:  Gemini/Sag and Virgo/Pisces.
      
JUPITER ~ 2nd Leg of Gemini *Journey & Process* 2012-2013 ~ The remaining Gemini work that Jupiter is doing will be:  (FIRE) with the final Sag Eclipse (5.25.2013) and Uranus in Aries ... (WATER) Chiron/Neptune/Pallas in Pisces ... (AIR) and Ceres/Vesta in Gemini lending Divine Feminine *Power* to the remainder of the Gemini Self-Work.  This indicates we will have to bring in our own Virgo energy of healing/assimilation to stabilize all this stirs up.
     
Jupiter is a 12-year cycle that moves in 3-year increments, so it hit Aries in 2010/Taurus in 2011/Gemini in 2012 ~ we return to Cardinal energy with Cancer in 2013 and thus engage Uranus in Aries, Pluto in Capricorn, which will leave us having to bring in the Libra energy of balance/fairness on our own but keep in mind that it will also *challenge* the *Truth/Story* you activated back in 2010 to truly (and physically/literally) EVOLVE in the coming year (2013-2014). 
  
SATURN ~ 1st Retro in Scorpio *Journey & Process* 2012-2015 ~ I did write an article detailing the work I propose we do which I will post very soon but for now, you should just know who Saturn will be working with during this 2+ year time.  Anytime the Personal Planets are in Taurus/Scorpio or Leo/Aquarius, you will feel it.  Beyond that, Saturn will connect with North Node around Fall Equinox (9.16.2013) and Venus will be there at the same time as she moves through Scorpio 9/11 - 10/7.2013. Saturn will be directly involved in several of the Eclipses and will work well with all the other Water energy this year: Jupiter in Cancer; Chiron/Neptune in Pisces and the Mercury Retrogrades all year.

Redefining Your Identity

Independent means "free from the control of others; self-reliant". To me, it means OWN YOUR STUFF - KEEP IT REAL! Everything about you - the good, the bad and the ugly - is because of you and your choices. We make choices based on the knowledge and experience we have at the time, but the choices are our own nonetheless. It takes practice but eventually you realize that you have created the life you are living and if you don't want to live that way anymore, then it's time to make some new choices.

Prayer/Affirmation:
I honor that which has brought me this far, and consciously choose a Higher path from now on.

Total independence means you take complete responsibility for EVERYTHING in your life. It's always YOU! If you want to be truly independent, then it's entirely up to you to make that happen. Being independent has a lot to do with what you are willing to give up for what it is you want to accomplish. No one promised easy, and only you can decide what is worth it or not.

Prayer/Affirmation:
I consciously and honestly appraise the worth of what I want to become and accomplish, and I joyfully sacrifice whatever necessary to meet those goals.

The responsibility of being totally independent is a heavy one and some people will consciously choose NOT to be independent in favor of allowing other people or circumstances to create boundaries within which they can conduct their lives.

Prayer/Affirmation:
I know what I want - to give and receive - from life, and I am happily willing to do whatever it takes to manifest my truth and purpose.

It will take time, but you have to figure out what exactly you want to do, how you can accomplish that and set out, step-by-step, to do so. It is a process and if you have spent the bulk of your life working for someone else or living life according to rules you had nothing to do with setting up, then it will take some time to change course. Nothing worthwhile is ever easy, and there is truly no such thing as an 'overnight success'. You have to want it and you have to work to achieve it. Move confidently in the direction of your goal and doors will open!

Happy Re-Birthday to all, and especially Aries folks! For many people (past the age of 25), birthdays come with a mixture of hope for the new and stress over the old, what's done (or not done) by now. We all experience some degree of "review" during birthday time. So - good news first - those who are craving a clean slate / fresh start - THIS is your chance!! Bad news is - it will not be an 'easy' new start, except maybe for those of you who love a challenge and thrive on overcoming obstacles.

This month of Aries, as I do every year, I give you PERMISSION TO BE SELFISH!! One month is no time to assess and plan for one year (and beyond). This month you should be focused on YOU! Your needs, your desires and what you deserve in exchange for the energy you share in your personal and professional life. Exchange, flow, reciprocity are all mandatory but the only way to ensure that energy flows freely is to remove all the blockages within. Mars and Pluto are working diligently, over a very long period of time, to ensure a permanent shift in your perception of need vs. desire.

FAITH ~ RISK ~ COURAGE ... *NOW*

~ FAITH ~ that you ARE in the right place, at the right time, with the right people for the lesson and the blessing. Faith in your Self, your Truth, your abilities, and your contribution as worthy and necessary. Faith that God is the Infinite Source of your supply and you already possess all that you need to maintain your life.

~ RISK ~ a willingness to risk investing in your own potential ~ for your own sense of accomplishment ~ for your own forward movement ~ to make progress in your own life. It seems that we are all willing to take incredible risks on behalf of people or entities which, in my humble opinion, are hardly worth it (in this context), not to mention the fact that these very same people and entities would NEVER risk (to any degree) for YOU! Remember, never allow someone else to be your PRIORITY ... if you are only their OPTION!

~ COURAGE ~ to face your fears and do it anyway, which is TOTALLY supported, even encouraged by Mars/Aries energy by the way. Courage of your convictions - to stand up for what you believe in even if no one close by agrees with you. Right or wrong in the end, when you are courageous enough to go after what you want, stand up for what you believe in, do what others are afraid to even try and/or take a step in the direction of your goals, you earn self-respect as well as the respect of others.

So this month, there are a couple of things to keep in mind while you go about organizing your life for spring renewal / re-birthday / and all these initiation energies (among others). This Season in particular, the transformation (Pluto) of your values & relationships (Venus), the expansion (Jupiter) of who you are and your core drives (Sun), and expressing your thoughts (Mercury), your deepest desires (Mars) and emotions (Cancer) are all giving you an opportunity for a breakthrough!

Squares in astrology are usually described as "hard angles" that the planets make to each other, so while it will likely be stressful in the moment, please keep somewhere in the back of your mind, as you move through this month and interact with others, that the whole point of any challenge(s) or blockage(s) which do pop up, are only to help you facilitate some very necessary (and long overdue) change(s). They are also giving you a palpable opportunity for ULTIMATE MASTERY of Self, for finally 'getting' the lesson so you can move on to other things.

It is advisable to be 'courageous' and 'faithful' and take a risk in choosing a new response, which will in fact elicit a new result. Stability and healing are the ultimate goal of the current energies and change is good!

This month is ALL ABOUT YOU ... the NEW you!! Release all that is no longer "truth" for you - on all levels. Begin the process of integrating these amazing new aspects you've recently discovered about your Self and HONOR who you have worked so hard to become!!

As you integrate on this new level, your ego may struggle against the shift. Ego wants to lead but unfortunately it finds fulfillment in the fleeting, whereas Spirit only seeks peace. The key is to allow Spirit to lead your healthy, empowered ego. These inner urges (the ego) should be handled with strength and firmness, yet NOT repressed and broken or we lose power and potency to survive and make our way in life. Do you see animals in nature allowing other animals to distract them from their prey (goal)? No, you don't. Iron-will and great courage are necessary to manifest the Spiritual vision within you as well as out in the world. You must CHANNEL any anger/rage, which immobilizes you - in to outrage, which empowers you and motivates you to action. There will always be some sort of challenge from your environment and there may be an inner war of the two distinct identities you have cultivated over the years (as humans are innately dual on many levels), but it needn't be a "war" as much as a compromise.

As you allow both Spirit & ego to co-exist, assigning them both tasks best suited to their skills (and nature), you will discover your authentic Self. Sometimes we don't allow the authenticity that would enable us to create fulfilling lives. Be authentic - by any means necessary. You can and will survive all the humiliations and defeats and ultimately emerge stronger! Children are the manifestation of a certain conflict (men/women) being handled creatively (coming together in harmony). Stress and strife are just as necessary as peace and tranquility. Accept all of it as part of living on the earth plane. No matter how spiritually committed or selflessly loving we attempt to become, our natures don't die. Practice honoring your true nature.

Do not shy away from your intuition just because you want to avoid conflict. Follow your feeling all the way and then consciously decide how to proceed. If you back off, chastising your Self for some natural impulse (to have things a certain way), you stop any possibility for peaceful resolution within. You usually only get one opportunity to respond to life's challenges (the first time) with any integrity. Any chance for resolution after your initial reaction, disintegrates as time goes on. Honor the vital force within (your nature) and it won't destroy you. Dishonor it and it will eat you alive.

You can have peace, by your own definition. Sometimes you have to lose something precious to you (sometimes it is a part of ourselves that must go) in order to redefine your true values. When you go through that kind of loss, it can make you question all your beliefs and any faith in your Self to make decisions for your Self. That's okay - that is part of it. All that you need, desire and deserve is ALWAYS PROVIDED!! whether you can see it at the time or not.

Remember, you get back from life what you put in to life - so have you been giving half-way or full-out!!? It is said that those who are not generous when times are lean, will not likely be generous even when things improve. You must keep the flow going - give and you will receive. What are you putting out in the Universe? This is the primary use for Leo energy in all of us, it is the part of us that attracts people and circumstances to us. Whatever you are putting out - is what you will attract in to your life. It may have been really difficult lately and you may be feeling like you have paid double for your transgressions, but a new cycle is beginning and you always have a choice as to how you spend your time and energy from now on. Generosity is a key element to living a rich, authentic and fulfilling life! Be generous with WHO YOU ARE - not necessarily what you "have". When you go forward, openly and honestly, you give others permission to do the same and authenticity and choice start to dominate or lead, more than fear and settling. PRACTICE BEING THE *NEW* YOU!

Next Season is a little more 'mental' but this Sacred Season is about what you *feel* on the deepest levels and creating space to move from that Center within ... out in to the world to be a useful and dynamic participant in Life. This is the time of year to set your intentions for what you want to create, within your own Being and out in the world through good works. During this Sacred Season, the Sun makes the journey through ALL Capricorn and the first half of Aquarius. There is always a *catalyst* (the first contact) then a *review* (pull back to go forward) and finally, fortified with healing and new information, *forward* movement. Pluto is the Purifier and the Sun represents your core essential Self. Every year they get together and clear out more of the deep, karmic debris within each individual, as well as the collective. Reflect on how your belief system was deeply altered and/or integrated over the years of 1995-2008 as Pluto moved through Sagittarius. Now that you're clear on what you believe to be "true", the shift of Pluto in to Capricorn initiates a new 16-year process of healing and purification. Fall Equinox kicked off an on-going stream of activations and this week is pivotal. Pivotal as in ~ shifting you and your attention toward a new direction. It is going to be intense and rapid-fire, now thru the first week of November. This week initiates the Healing Trinity's renewed forward movement. Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune have been Retrograde for the last several months. This has turned the healing focus *INWARD* and there has been a tremendous amount of permanent healing done on the Individual level, so that once all three planets are forward again, you are in a stronger position to contribute, and then the Healing focus will shift back toward the Collective. This potent combo is facilitating the necessary healing and fusion (for Earth and ALL Life) before we can fully function at this Higher Vibratory Frequency. Jupiter (your Truth/your Story) goes forward in Aquarius ~ how did your "editing" process go June-October? Jupiter expands your awareness, thus expanding your personal Truth as you learn ... and process what you are learning. In Aquarius, it will demand that you cultivate an authentic Self (Leo) so you can contribute your unique *piece* to humanity (Aquarius), and to the Universe. As it goes forward, so too will your personal Truth & Story evolve.

Ceres (what/how you nurture) moves in to Scorpio ~ the focus shifts from Libra, wanting to purify and nurture your relationships and environment ~ *SURFACE* issues ... to Scorpio, *BELOW* the surface issues. What seeds are germinating in YOUR darkness? Think Garden: What needs a pruning/clearing so it can thrive and grow better? Scorpio is the lesson of karma and the most potent, creative energy in the zodiac. Ruled by Pluto, it is your connection and experience of power and all the issues that go with having any amount of power, let alone the enormous amount afforded the average human. Mars (what we deeply desire/what we are passionate about) moves in to Leo where it will initiate a 7-Month journey/process, including a Retrograde which only happens every 2 years. Mars in Leo connects you with your inner *FIRE* ... who are you? what do you want? what gets you fired up? what are you passionate about, willing to fight for and dedicated to protecting? This energy is going to make some people acutely uncomfortable and others will thrive and radiate Light like never before. Love becomes a verb at this time, and as you learn to love your Self, you are better able to give and receive love out in the world. Pay attention to events which occur now (Oct 16th) to Winter Solstice (Dec 21st) because this will be the material of Mars' Retrograde (Dec 20, 2009 - Mar 10, 2010). The beauty of a Retrograde is second chances, so pay attention, it will be decades before we get this specific opportunity again. We are defining what we want for ourselves and our Source, Mother Earth, and making love a *VERB* ~ for both.

All this is leading up to the Libra New Moon (Oct 18th). Aries Full Moon shined a bright light on that which is no longer part of your Identity, what you no longer want/desire in your life. As you begin to more fully express this "new you", the more your partnerships and relationships will also have to adjust. The Libra New Moon is an excellent time to set your intentions for restored Balance within your own Being, enabling healthier relationships. Keep in mind you will always attract your *Vibrational Match* ... how's your vibe these days? Inviting, welcoming ... or ... guarded and doubtful?

Major shifts are occurring in this short periods of time, not giving anyone very much time to process before another one occurs. Somehow, this is perfect, Divine Order. I also notice an ebb and flow with it. We are being pelted now (Sept/Oct) but after the first week of November, planetary movement is pretty minimal (though activations continue) but that will likely be a time when you can really digest and assimilate all the 'old' leaving, 'new' coming in and general transition of 2009. And whether you celebrate Thanksgiving or not, it is an excellent time to bask in *GRATITUDE* for all your lessons and all your blessings. Based on all you've learned and integrated, what will you create in the coming year?

Sacred Rhythms ~ Ancient & Ever-New

How Divine is it that Virgo precedes Libra! Virgo is the lesson of *DISCERNMENT* ~ discerning what's relevant, useful, healthy, real ... or not. It prompts us every year to take inventory of ourselves and our lives. Theoretically, in preparation for moving in to Libra time when people and culture get involved or become the focus. The Leo New Moon (Aug 20th) set your new intentions for the authentic *YOU*, now a month later, Virgo New Moon (Sept 18th) asks you to perfect *YOU* before you interact or collaborate with others. With all the intensity of "now", plus the several rare planetary alignments, plus the usual activations and seasonal shifts, it can be very challenging to "tend to the details" the way Virgo would prefer. BREATHE. Instead of giving in to the overwhelmed feelings (Shadow Pisces), tune in to the fact that this is the *LAST* Virgo/Pisces Lunation that you will have the added juice of Saturn/Uranus contributing to your work of 'out with the old / in with the new' while mastering your Human/Physical Self and your Spiritual/Divine Self. (Also, keep in mind that both these major planets are moving in to the Aries/Libra dynamic next which will bring on a whole new set of lessons and activations.)

Everything is preparing you for the next thing. 2009 started with a Venus theme and ends with a Mars theme that will dominate 2010. This suggests that if you get your priorities renewed and realigned (Venus) this year, you will be in a much better position to determine your true and deepest desires (Mars) next year, which will position you to finally take some much-needed action steps toward building and creating a life that better reflects your Truth & Purpose. Right now, Mercury is Retrograde assisting with the *REVIEW* process, supporting everyone who turns within right now. It's time to gather a little more information, clarity and understanding before moving on whatever you are discovering about your Self these days. All is not what it seems, most likely. This may actually be a good thing because it leaves room for your conscious intent and Great Spirit to move things around before they are too solid to change.

Where we are now began with Winter Solstice 2008. ALL of December 2008 was Infinitely potent, and by the end of the month, we had Sun, Mercury, Mars (3 of the personal planets) and Jupiter (social planet) joining Pluto (collective planet) in Capricorn, the sign of responsibility, stability and integrity. *FALL* Equinox 2009 brings an opportunity to analyze, digest and assimilate the first full year of Pluto in Capricorn so strongly activating the Solstices and Equinoxes (4 times per year for the next 16 years) ... You are preparing for the coming new Solar year at Winter Solstice ~ December 2009. What have you learned about dancing so closely with Pluto, Lord of Transformation? What have you gained? What have you lost? Use this *FALL* Season to identify what is solid and useful and what is finally ready to be released back in to the Infinite Void of creation.

*FALL* Equinox 2009 also moves some of the personal planets along from Virgo in to Libra, reminding you this is also a time for *BALANCE* ~ of Dark/Light ~ of Feminine/Masculine ~ of Inner/Outer. Pluto being so intricately linked to the Sacred Seasons for the next 15+ years, gives you unprecedented support for the changes you are ready, willing and able to make. At the turn of each Season, there will be intense transformation added to the already potent mix. The Solstices are all about Initiation/Integration and the Equinoxes are all about Growth/Development. Depending on your own alchemical mix, there will be a certain degree of "out of the comfort zone" for everyone. Use it as *FUEL* to facilitate change within your own Being, your own life and your own community. (Resistance and procrastination will prolong the pain and delay your good.)

Last week's Sagittarius Full Moon (June 7th) gave you an opportunity to release that which is no longer *TRUTH* on a very personal level. This Last Quarter / Pisces Moon (June 15th) is the time to *CULTIVATE* what is working and prune what is not, in preparation for the upcoming initiation of the Cancer New / Super Moon (June 22nd). This week, we are preparing for *Summer Solstice*, the integration phase of whatever you seeded at *Winter Solstice*. There were some potent, once-in-a-lifetime alignments then and this is the *CULMINATION* of that work. The seeds you planted then, need your care and attention now, and there are several alignments supporting this entire process. Tune in to healing (Jupiter/Chiron/Neptune in Aquarius), tend to the tedious, anchor your foundation (Saturn in Virgo) and strengthen your health in preparation for the blessings and challenges that lie ahead. The Last Quarter Moon in Pisces is a great time to do any type of "closure ritual", which can be as simple as a prayer or as elaborate as your imagination can conjure at this time.

The other delicious *INITIATION* happening in June, on/around Summer Solstice, is Venus and Mars getting together in Taurus, the sign deeply connected to Mother Earth, life, love, beauty and sustenance, are balancing, integrating and amplifying the masculine/feminine dynamics. This is a chance for you personally to integrate these two modes of getting things accomplished but also for the collective to move in to a new realm of expression in that regard too. Masculine and Feminine energies, Venus and Mars, are active principles within both men and women and this is an incredible opportunity for *ALL* to embrace a more balanced approach to getting things done in the 3-D. There is a time and place for the masculine approach, however, at the moment we need a healing that the feminine approach can bring in to any equation. There is plenty of preliminary healing work to do before we can really build, and that too is completely supported by the planetary cycles. This Solstice is a chance to fully integrate your Masculine and Feminine nature within so you can make new choices and behave in new ways so you are more effective out in the world.

I remind you here that there are 8 Sacred Solar Seasons each year, the main four are the Solstices and Equinoxes (the other four are the half-way mark between each of the major ones - all are powerful to work with). The Sun makes its way around this same Path every year, activating Cancer/Capricorn on the Solstices and Aries/Libra on the Equinoxes. Pluto is firmly planted in Capricorn, which will form strong alignments *4 times per year* activating all of us for the next *16 years*.

Pluto, planet of death, rebirth & transformation, is going to have a considerable influence (16 years) on both the Sacred Seasons (annually) *AND* Cancer/Capricorn Eclipse (9 and 18 year cycles). Pluto in Capricorn brings up, among many other things, the major shift in your responsibilities and contribution, personally and professionally. It is helping you build a more sound structure of your life and your life's work. Pluto's work with the Sun indicates these activations are primarily directed at your core, essential Self, your identity - who you are. On the Solstices, you will do INITIATION/INTEGRATION work, which will hit your personal chart wherever Cancer/Capricorn is located. On the Equinoxes, you will do GROWTH/DEVELOPMENT work, which will hit your chart wherever Aries/Libra is located. Be mindful of your perceptions of the changes taking place within and around you.

Throughout Taurus time, we are deeply supported for cultivating inner and outer lives of beauty and sustenance. Think in terms of a garden and what you are planting, cultivating and nurturing to grow and evolve *TOGETHER* into something that reminds you how the whole (your life) is greater than the sum of its parts (various aspects of your Being). A plant here or there, a vegetable here or there, is a good start, but imagine a garden that contains ALL YOU CAN IMAGINE would/could feed your heart and soul, as well as your mind and body. A space of your own creation that calms you down and fills you up. A space that blossoms in response to your loving care. This can be a literal garden, and I highly recommend planting something this season that symbolizes the growth you are aiming to achieve. But more importantly, this is an *ESSENCE* ... a *RESONANCE* you want to tune in to that yields results that may be invisible, but are no less tangible and necessary for life on this planet.

Keep in mind as you review the planetary assistance, that this whole week (and next week too), you should be moving through your daily life with a certain reverent quality, an inner knowing that something *BIG* is moving the molecules around and positioning every living thing to receive more *LIGHT* and *LOVE*. This coming weekend of May 9-11, we have The Rebirth Celebration, a Global Meditation organized by Joseph Giove of CommonPassion.org. All week, you should be tuning in to your abundance and balance ~ your true wealth and blessings ~ to releasing the non-essential and making room for what Joseph calls, "an unprecedented opportunity to cooperate with the forces of evolution to fulfill individual and collective purposes, and to create a sustainable world of harmony, abundance and balance with Nature". We are finishing up our New Moon in Taurus work this week, in preparation for Saturday's Scorpio Full Moon culmination on Sat/May 9th. What seeds have you planted? What are you cultivating? within your Being? and within your Community? What needs pruning? What needs re-positioning to receive more Light? The Sun/Moon in Taurus are in a good angle to Pluto in Capricorn, assisting you with integrating the current evolution of your inner and outer selves. Venus (values/priorities) and Mars (desires/passions) in Aries (courage/independence) are being tested by Pluto in Capricorn (responsibility/dedication), so your values and desires are still being distilled to something that better reflects all the hard work you've done in the last couple of months re-inventing your Self. Beltane / Sacred Season ~ May 6, 2009
We reach true Beltane on Wed/May 6th when the Sun reaches 15º Taurus. This is a cross-quarter/Sacred Season and half-way mark between Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice - how's that going in your world? Spring Equinox (March 20th) released a *LOT* of potent, new beginning energy, really got things moving and introduced some new possibilities. That is a turning point, crossroads and a 6-month process, leading to Fall Equinox, when you will "harvest" all that you have activated this year. However, before the 'harvest', Summer Solstice will give you a chance to balance and integrate what is working, and release what is not. And even before that can happen, we have *NOW*, these Sacred Portals and beautiful opportunities every 6-weeks to check in on progress and see what is developing and what needs a little tweaking; what's blossoming and what's wilting; what invigorates you and what drains you. Tune in to your rhythm and flow because you are officially in the orb of MAGIC! MARS: The *KEY* to *NOW* ~ Heal Your Desire Nature & Honor Your Self

We have such major shifts going on, and things seem to be so 'rapid-fire', you may not always feel like you have the time or energy to process them completely. This is when you should invite your Invisible Assistants to pick up where you cannot continue. I heard someone say recently that they thought their guides must be busy with so many souls going through changes at this time that they are unavailable for them. And I want to tell you ... THERE IS NO TIME IN GOD!! Time, energy and resources, apparently limited by our human perspective, are all truly UNLIMITED for Great Spirit. You need only extend the invitation, open to receive the benefits and give gratitude faithfully. I am reminded of a poem Wayne Dyer used in his book, Your Sacred Self.

BROKEN DREAMS

This is a perfect illustration of Mars' typical impatience and Saturn's typical 'know it all' attitude. Let us find a Higher expression within. You want to work with both of these energies or they become toxic and will poison you and those around you. We are amidst a major cycle I would like to illuminate so you can have some food for thought. Mars rules our desire nature, our urge to *do* in the world, ruling our passions and that which motivates us to action. So, what do you REALLY WANT? out of life? out of relationships? out of a career? It's all very personal too! Saturn rules our definition of reality, what you consider "real" and the structure/foundation of your life. More importantly, Saturn rules your inner authority (and how you perceive authority in the world). So are you feeling stable and in-control of your own life or totally out of control and dominated by forces outside of you? I feel intuitively that understanding this energy is the key to navigating *now*. You have to be crystal clear about what you want and what you are will to be responsible for.

Mars' pattern or cycle is a two year process. Last July 2008, Mars initiated a new 2-year cycle with Saturn when they both got together in Virgo. Because of the larger Saturn/Uranus cycle, what may have been a simple initiation any other year, now takes on a much broader perspective and the results of your choices (and actions) will have long term reverberations.

So let's consider.

July 2008 ~ Mars gets together with Saturn in Virgo (and opposes Uranus in Pisces a month later, August 2008). This initiates a process. Saturn won't be in Virgo again for 30 years so this is your chance to anchor Virgo's HEALING of your true DESIRE for stability by your own definition and a major healing of your personal structure. What happens when these two get together is, your buttons get pushed because you realize that your reality (Saturn) actually does not truly reflect what you really want (Mars) and Mars energy wants to act but Saturn resists (for a variety of reasons - fear, doubt and all kinds of "realistic" inner dialogue that lists all the reasons why you can't really have what you want). Then you are ANGRY. This is actually a GOOD THING!! Rage to outrage, people, mobilize that energy - direct it - get fired up - you SHOULD be angry and yes, initially you will be angry with Self because in Virgo, ALL the flaws, mistakes and poor choices are glaringly obvious. Breathe. All is not lost. Bringing it in to your awareness is the first step.

December 2008 ~ Mars gets together with the Sun and Pluto in Capricorn pushing your buttons on who you are and what you want, along with Pluto's purifying principle. So if you did not do the work earlier, things intensified here. I ask you, over the last year, how have the things you want for your Being, your life, career & contribution, family & community all shifted? Are things you used to deeply believe changed dramatically? I am finding in my own life and in my dealings with other people that most people's ideas and concepts of who they are and where they would be by this time in their lives have all changed in ways they could've never predicted. It's all good. (I know - it doesn't always *feel* good - but TRUST SPIRIT!)

I remind you of the cycles of ... Initiation ~ Test ~ Integration ~ Test ~ Completion/Initiation. AND I remind you that in Virgo/Pisces, you are definitely working the half-way/completion modes of your life and Being where Mars (what you want) and Saturn (your reality and foundation/structure) are concerned.

April 2009 ~ Mars now joins Uranus in Pisces (and opposes Saturn in Virgo) causing change, ready or not, here it comes. No less anger or frustration with the process or the aspects of your Being or life being illuminated which you have relegated to the dark corners of your mind and dropped the veil of illusion telling your Self all is .... (fill in the blank - your delusion of choice). Breathe.

My recommendation for this time is stillness first and foremost. The truth is you still have a year to pull it together and maximize the benefits of these three planets getting together. Mars, Saturn and Uranus. Pure desires. Inner authority. Authentic freedom and liberation from the past. Virgo/Pisces ~ purity and bliss ~ physical/spiritual integration and mastery ~ trust and discernment. Are these not worth the effort and investment of time and energy to clarify your intentions to the Universe? You are so beautifully supported for a HEALING above all else where these energies and entities are concerned. You can heal the Mars part of your Being so that you are loving what you do and doing what you love ~ being a Spiritual Warrior ~ leading the way with passion! You can heal the Saturn part of your Being so that you are truly the author of your own life story, responsible for all that you are and all that you create and share in the world, making your contribution so that the world is slightly better than the day before. You can heal the Uranus part of your Being that MUST BE FREE ~ that aspect of your Soul which cannot be caged or contained ~ that aspect that KNOWS there is more to the very essence of your existence and truly, deeply believes in the Oneness of the Infinite Universe.
