The focus of my work is Cycles, Patterns and Personal Rhythm. I enjoy helping people unlock the potential of their own unique blueprint (chart) and I am deeply passionate about supporting people as they explore & develop their own personal *Rhythm* (cycles).  Beyond that, I love when people start to master their rhythm and begin to dance with the Universal *Rhythm* more freely and effectively because they are stronger and more centered in their Authentic Self. In addition to assisting Individuals, I am also interested in holding *Sacred* Space for the Power Circle Community to explore these cycles together. My ultimate goal is to serve both the Individuals, who prefer private sessions and one-on-one guidance & support ~ as well as those who enjoy Group energy & the exponential support of others navigating the cycles and consciously co-creating too.
     
The following introduces the *As Above* (planets/cycles) we will explore and develop this year (2013) *So Below* (our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual reality) unfolds deliciously for one and all!  The schedule has already been altered because we are doing both the Mercury & Saturn calls in February, so it is but a loose guideline for the year and my *Intention* to cover these things with you.  Please *respond* to this mailing with your interest as Community (your) participation will largely determine this.  For any gathering I host, there must be a minimum of 10 people registering. Below is my quick, initial snap-shot of what we are likely to cover at those gatherings.  Consider this a *Sneak Peek* as well as an *Open Invitation* to join me and the growing Power Circle Community.
   

2013 Highlights

  
SUN ~ Annual Solar Cycle 2013 ~ every month the Sun changes Sign around the 20th of the month.  It is this time when you should consider getting your personal Monthly *Tools*.

MOON ~ Eclipses/Nodes 2013 ~ we will be dealing, primarily, with Scorpio/Taurus Eclipses, however, we still have one Sag Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse (5.25.2013) to complete the last couple of years of energy work ... while we will also get introduced to what's coming next with the Aries Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse (10.18.2013).  Keep in mind, Eclipse themes that *overlap* like this make the year (2013) extremely *transitional* and usually more intense as well.  These Eclipse Cycles coincide with the Lunar Nodes movement and this year we are dealing with a Scorpio North Node, while releasing imbalances around the Taurus South Node issues.

MERCURY ~ Retro ALL Water 2013 ~ every 5+ years, Mercury does its 3-4 Retrogrades in a year through ALL One Element. 2013 brings ALL Water, meaning our ideas, thoughts, perceptions, conceptions, as well as how we communicate & express ourselves, is going to be *Emotionally* Based and decidedly driven by our *Feeling* Nature.  For some, that will be a piece of cake, for others not-so-much. Either way, we will ALL learn more about Cancer, Scorpio & Pisces this year.

VENUS ~ 2nd Leg of Gemini *Journey & Process* 2012-2013 ~ Reclamation of Divine Feminine/Gemini in Preparation for Capricorn ~ This deserves a complete article to truly describe the energetic work we are doing with Venus this year.  But there are two points I want to make: (1) Venus in Capricorn Jan 8 - Feb 1, 2013 is the *preview* of the coming extended 4-month stay in Capricorn toward the end of this year (Nov 5 - Mar 5, 2014) and subsequent Retrograde: 12.21.2013/Direct: 1.31.2014.  And (2) Venus still has much work left with the Gemini *Theme* as she embarks on the second and final leg of that journey initiated April 2012.
    
As Venus goes to the Underworld (pause for the cause) mid-February, she has a couple of *KEY* Meetings with Sun/Moon/Mars/Uranus before Rising as the Evening Star in early-May 2013.  We should consider using this time to clarify the value of all the ideas, thoughts and concepts we have *released* over the last 9-12 months, and acknowledge that we've created *space* for NEW ideas, thoughts and concepts to infuse every Chakra with an Authentic Voice that expresses Self in a higher, more delicious Venusian way.  This work will anchor your NEW *Values & Priorities* so they support you going forward. Remember:  Sun (Identity/Source Energy) ~ Venus (Love/Beauty/Abundance) ~ Uranus (Awakening/Liberation) are linking up at 8* Aries on March 28, 2013.  Then Venus/Mars do *Sacred* Union on 4.6.2013 at 19* Aries.  These *behind the scenes* contacts (and where they fall in YOUR chart) will inform your Self-Work and Soul-Searching before the VERY DISTINCT shift of Venus' direction from *Release* to *Reclamation* kicks in to action.
    
MARS ~ 3rd Leg of Virgo *Journey & Process* 2011-2013 ~ Mars spent 8-months in Virgo (11/2011 - 7/2012) in what I've since dubbed the 8-month *investment* for a 16-month *return* and we are now at the *Mid-Point* of that 16-months as Mars moves through Pisces (2/1 - 3/12.2013).  It's a good time to review those materials and check to see if you are on-track.  Those most directly affected are my *Mutable* Babies:  Gemini/Sag and Virgo/Pisces.
      
JUPITER ~ 2nd Leg of Gemini *Journey & Process* 2012-2013 ~ The remaining Gemini work that Jupiter is doing will be:  (FIRE) with the final Sag Eclipse (5.25.2013) and Uranus in Aries ... (WATER) Chiron/Neptune/Pallas in Pisces ... (AIR) and Ceres/Vesta in Gemini lending Divine Feminine *Power* to the remainder of the Gemini Self-Work.  This indicates we will have to bring in our own Virgo energy of healing/assimilation to stabilize all this stirs up.
     
Jupiter is a 12-year cycle that moves in 3-year increments, so it hit Aries in 2010/Taurus in 2011/Gemini in 2012 ~ we return to Cardinal energy with Cancer in 2013 and thus engage Uranus in Aries, Pluto in Capricorn, which will leave us having to bring in the Libra energy of balance/fairness on our own but keep in mind that it will also *challenge* the *Truth/Story* you activated back in 2010 to truly (and physically/literally) EVOLVE in the coming year (2013-2014). 
  
SATURN ~ 1st Retro in Scorpio *Journey & Process* 2012-2015 ~ I did write an article detailing the work I propose we do which I will post very soon but for now, you should just know who Saturn will be working with during this 2+ year time.  Anytime the Personal Planets are in Taurus/Scorpio or Leo/Aquarius, you will feel it.  Beyond that, Saturn will connect with North Node around Fall Equinox (9.16.2013) and Venus will be there at the same time as she moves through Scorpio 9/11 - 10/7.2013. Saturn will be directly involved in several of the Eclipses and will work well with all the other Water energy this year: Jupiter in Cancer; Chiron/Neptune in Pisces and the Mercury Retrogrades all year.

Effective Energy Spent ...

Yields Tangible Results

This month we are feeling the pressure to produce results - either from ourselves or outer circumstances (or both). Either way, you have to be extremely mindful of how you spend your energy at this time. Strategic thinking takes practice but you must make the effort to expand your mind to access additional options you may not have realized you had ... and then TRY THEM! (What do you have to lose?) Mother Earth provides EVERYTHING we could possibly need to live this life. It is all within each and every one of us.

Prayer/Affirmation:

I will work with what I've got to attract all that I need, desire and deserve.

It is time for the hard work and the work behind the scenes. Think in terms of gardening, you have to plant the seeds and tend them as well, in order to grow ANYTHING. If you do not do those two things FIRST, there will be no product (end result). The whole concept of abundance is based on the "pay it forward" theory - you must give to receive ~ you must put out the energy to attract the results. What kind of real work and effective energy are you putting behind your dreams and goals?

Prayer/Affirmation:

I confidently move in the direction of my goal, cheerfully doing the work and fully expect my efforts to return to me ten-fold.

It is a very intense time right now which is fertile for creative energy! First you must take the time to define your goal and then map out a strategy for attracting the results you seek and have faith in your own vision. If you have any self-worth issues to resolve, they may come up at this time. Anything you have put off is going to demand attention. And most of all, there are no quick-fixes - you must do the work, consistently and faithfully.

Prayer/Affirmation:

As a child of God, my birth right is every good thing and I am willing to contribute my energy faithfully because of this inner knowing.

Think like a builder (Taurus): you must have an initial plan; you must have the location and the initial materials to get started but before you can build, you have to prep the area you plan to build on. Clear any debris (past) and prepare the area for creating your vision (in 3-D). Sometimes once you start building something, it evolves in such a way that is either better than you imagined (now that you can see some tangible results) or perhaps needs tweaking here and there because unforeseen things came up along the way. It's all good - you learn as you LIVE! So accept that adjustments have to be made and it is all part of producing your ultimate goal. And eventually there will be something in the world that only you created and that wasn't here before you created it!

April 3, 2012 ~ Venus Enters *GEMINI* ...

Moving toward a Retrograde covering the ground which will be reviewed between May 15th (retro) and June 27th (direct - shadow period ends Aug 1st). The whole point of any planet going Retrograde is to bring up the issues of its domain, in Venus' case, values, priorities & resources. It brings these issues to the surface, essentially getting your attention in a way that (hopefully) will prompt you to want to explore more deeply (retrograde) before charting the course of future forward movement (direct/out of shadow) when you will have acquired more clarity and sure-footedness.

Venus has an 8 year Cycle, and last did this (Retrograde in Gemini) in March 2004, so how have your values evolved over the last 8 years where your ideas, thoughts, concepts, communication & self-expression are concerned? How would you like to evolve over the next 8 years? Venus energy focuses your attention on what you deeply value or what you give your resources to, which tells the Universe what you truly value. Anchoring the Gemini Energy & Your *NEW* 8 year Cycle

Gemini Energy ...

Gemini energy is all about how we think, process and express what we learn. It's about gathering and disseminating information. It's about change, duality, choice(s), crossroads, and of course, transition. Gemini is ruled by Mercury, which rules (among other things) transition. Transition originally meant "going across or over" ~ sometimes it means changing from one state of form or being to another. What is powerful about this is not in the 'being here or there', but in being PRESENT wherever you are. If you are consciously participating in life, then this is a potent time for you. However, if you are overwhelmed and your systems are on overload, you are going to short-circuit, then you may have to go down before you can come up and function properly. So consider this next 4 months (April - August 2012) a literal and figurative UPGRADE to your operating system (mind) where your values and priorities (Venus) are concerned. What is most important to you and how you think has likely shifted dramatically since 2004, and will shift again by 2020 (next Venus Retrograde in Gemini).

Re-Calibrate Your Perspective & Clean the Filter ...

Venus Retrogrades every 18-months or so, which means that your *Values & Priorities* shift on a fairly regular basis. Getting a rhythm to this, internally, will help you flow with your own evolution with less fear or anxiety and more trust in the natural order of things, which includes change. However, Venus' 8-year cycle brings monumental shifts around what is truly important to you and is animated by the Sign it falls in. This Venus work is going to be very personal for those with Gemini/Sagittarius and Virgo/Pisces activated in their charts. Things that were important to you 8-years ago are probably not so vital now, and things that were not even on your list of priorities may have moved to the top.

In this case, Gemini, means your *thinking* has evolved over the last 8-years and adjustments to your language and behavior should reflect the *upgrade*. Taking a time-out to review your own mind, how it works, what it focuses on and how it serves you (or not) is what this Retrograde will likely bring to the fore. Gemini energy always reveals multiple perspectives and illustrates better than any other Sign how multiple "stories" can be conflicting and yet still be true (or at least relevant). It's time to think another way regarding your *Values & Priorities*. We each have a unique "filter" that we run the information through. You may know what I mean, have you ever said something to someone who took it completely wrong? That's THEIR filter being engaged. You have used your thoughts and language to convey something, they have then run it through their filter (life experience or level of consciousness or knowledge base) and it completely altered the original meaning.

Well, I love to use the "dryer filter" analogy here. When we clean the lint out of the dryer filter (when washing clothes), you think you've cleaned it. And for the most part, you have. However, over long periods of time, a waxy build-up accumulates on the filter and if you were to try to run water through it, you would find that you really need to "scrub, rinse, repeat" before that water would flow through the filter (with ease). Our personal mental filters can be like this too! Once some people define something as "truth" they don't question it or review it for current relevance and therefore, their thinking becomes outdated and stagnant and very much like that clogged filter ~ new ideas, thoughts and concepts cannot get through and now the filter is no longer working as intended.

Venus is about beauty and culture and how all living things are related and affect one another. Gemini energy will help us explore the possibilities and hopefully, learn something new. Basically, the Soul-Level re-connection we just cultivated over the last Venus Cycle (18-months) has perhaps left us a little "raw" but also, clarified, purified & renewed ... down to our core. Now we must explore the "ideas" of who we can become, individually and collectively. What was all that deep delving self-work for if not to clear space for new ideas to come in? You may find that your thinking and your choices no longer reflect what is really important to you in the here & now. Who do you *think* you are? What do your choices & decision-making processes reveal about how you really are and what's really important to you? (The Universe does not make those distinctions, this is purely a function of the *Mind*.) It is time to evolve and explore new ideas and perspectives, while not getting overwhelmed by the limitlessness of thought or distracted by details.

The Retrograde period should afford you time for the *Review*. Review your thoughts and beliefs, do some clearing & releasing and prepare the way for new thought, new learning and new ideas to have a place to exist and evolve. Retrogrades are always good for research, revisions and resolutions. Do your thoughts, words and deeds reflect your deepest, core values? Do you spend your resources of time, energy & money on: memories or materials? Education or elitism? Progress or postponement?

Venus, Earth & Global Cycles ...

The global shifts are so massive, there must be some time here and there that you check in on SELF, and make sure you are not being blindly led down a path you don't belong on, nor the one you chose. When you're caught up in survival mode, your senses and perceptions become skewed and you see/feel things that aren't there and miss the blessings that ARE. When you are constantly chasing something just out of your reach, life slips right through your fingers. When you spend more time running "out there" and less time being still "in here", you can lose your balance and fall.

Venus reminds us that ...
~ ALL LIFE IS INTER-CONNECTED ~

~ ACTION STEMS FROM THOUGHT ~

Venus works very closely with Mother Earth, sometimes they're called Sisters, and we are moving toward *LEADING* with our Feminine aspects of our natures. Venus is working with the Sun and Earth in a way that she only does every 113-130 years. These alignments create portals through which we, as individuals and a collective, can choose to activate and move through consciously or not. This particular portal is restoring balance between Masculine and Feminine within and around us. At this time, we should activate our Inner-Feminine energy, which knows instinctively how to clear a space with an intention, extend the invitation for all that you need, desire and deserve and then allow Intuition to guide the next move. The Feminine Way of getting things done is no better or worse than the Masculine Way of getting things done, it is just *DIFFERENT*. And the year 2012 brings Mars Retro in Virgo and Venus Retro in Gemini, further amplifying this incredible cycle that always leads to the evolution of BALANCE ~ EBB/FLOW ~ YIN/YANG ~ UP/DOWN ~ INNER/OUTER ~ ABOVE/BELOW. If *ANY* living thing is imbalanced in *ANY* way, it affects us *ALL* ... sooner or later. In essence, if we are to align OUR REALITY (Earth) with OUR CORE-IDENTITY (Sun) and fulfill our Infinite potential (Galactic Center) as human beings, we will need Venus (Love) to do it come 2012 because she represents all the KEY INGREDIENTS WE NEED TO SUCCEED!

~ CULTURE ~ what we individually & collectively contribute thru thoughts, words and deeds creates a culture

~ VALUES ~ what you spend your resources on reveal what you value

It is where your whole year comes together and asks you to *Create* a Greater *Vision* from the *Raw Materials* of your experience and where you *Surrender* any attachment to the Past or the Future and BE *Present* ~ Go With the *Flow* (at least try ;-)) *Mutable* Energy: PISCES/Initiation ~ VIRGO/Integration ~ GEMINI-SAG/Growth ~ is the *Idea/Ideal* Realm ~ it's where you *Learn & Process* Life and where you discover exactly if/how what you *Believe* supports you, which activates the evolution of your Personal *Truth* ... something becoming more and more *FLUID* for all of us as Neptune & Chiron settle in for 8-14 Years in *Pisces*. This too will shape your Individual experiences, especially those of you with these Signs strongly placed in your chart.

Any time I feel the Neptunian *Fog* rolling in, I take a time-out and turn on my *Receiver* - think of it as *SONAR*, a device used to Navigate *Under Water*. With *7* Planets in *PISCES* this month, we may need *Assistance* clarifying our direction. I have been finding *Diamonds* when I *Open & Surrender* to receive Spirit's Guidance these days and when I block *Flow* (on any level/in any way) I see only a lump of coal that will require more energy than I have to convert. I have found soothing *balm* in Nature which always replenishes me! ("Break to Re-Align") I am then better able to *Give My Flow a Structure* and convert my worrisome (6 planets in) Virgo in to the practical, natural order Virgo so I can come back to the Current *PISCES* party (of Life) and contribute! As I type this, it occurs to me that this is a nice illustration of the *Balance/Integration* process of the Virgo (Earth) & Pisces (Water) energies ... Virgo says, "Surrender to the *Natural Order* and Experience *Miracles/Magic*!" and Pisces replies, "Surrender to the *Miracles/Magic* and Experience *Natural Order*!" Play with that! ;-)

I played with a couple of ideas and reviewed our *Recent Past* work (2-3 years) in the *Pisces/Virgo* realms and found some extremely relevant *gems*. I may have gotten a little carried away on the Divine Guidance for each week, as I went "diggin' in the crates" (an old DJ term that means digging to find that Great *Inspired* Music that will keep the energies *Flowing*) ~ when you go "diggin' in the crates", you are sometimes looking for something you will only know when you see it because the *FEELING* is so distinctly *YES*!! I followed my *Feelings* that there was something *Useful & Relevant* from our Collective/Cumulative work in the *Pisces/Virgo* realms in the last couple of years and sure enough, I found many juicy morsels of work we've already done, that we can NOW *Build* ON with the *Current Energy & Support*. It is THIS work (last 3-6 years) that informs our *Choices & Decisions* NOW ~ 2012 - 2013 - 2014 and beyond.

Hi All ~ I worked Major *Mojo* 11/11 thru 11/22 and then shifted for family obligations and like you, had to *simultaneously* navigate the intense Eclipse energy and incoming Mercury Retrograde. I have used the *Overview* + *Chart* portions of the Sag *Lunar* Tele-Class (11/17) as our Guidance for *NOW*. I just re-listened and found it tremendously useful! Sagittarius time every year, affords you the opportunity to *Deepen Your Truth* and *Expand Your Story* ~ to move from the revelations of Scorpio's *Raw Truth* ... to the inspirations of Sag's *Higher Truth* ... to make *meaning* out of all that has been brought in to the Light. We're also at the *Mid-Point* in the Jupiter Annual Cycle (Sag's Ruler) with one month left to complete the *Editing* Process Jupiter Retrograde brings (every year). Once it moves forward (12/25), so too will ALL that you *Clarify* at THIS time, when the Sun/Moon/Mercury/Venus/North Node all make their way through the sign of the Archer!

I have always thought Scorpio was my favorite time of the year but I'm amending that to include the whole last quarter of the year. Scorpio is the best because it clears out the old, Sagittarius is the best for dreaming up the future and Capricorn is the best for initiating the foundation for those dreams to expand on. I *LOVE* this time of year! It so beautifully supports this natural evolution. I can also testify that after working mojo *WITH* the energies over the years, it has always produced results directly equal to the investment of my own energy. I say that to say, you can invest a little or a lot and yield tangible results based on your efforts.

Another thing to consider is that the Sag *Work*( (11/22-12/22) is leading to the ONLY (almost) 30-day period of the entire year when ALL the planets are moving in forward motion ~ which means NO HOLDING BACK! Dec 25th (Jupiter Direct) until Jan 23rd (2012 - Mars Retro) provides a small window of opportunity to hold your own counsel, tune in to the cosmos and your Higher Self and come up with a new and improved vision for your life. I suggest you use the holiday season to give your Self the GIFT of TIME to reflect and plan. You are standing on this side of a bridge, about to crossover to completely new, and as yet, unknown territory, which deserves more than a fleeting thought.

As I ruminated the relationship between Sagittarius and Capricorn, many things started to dance in my consciousness. The energy of faith, optimism and enthusiasm (Sagittarius) to create a reality (Capricorn) based on your personal Truth (Sag) and ultimate Purpose (Capricorn) for being here. It CANNOT just be the proverbial 'struggle from the cradle to the grave'. 'Survival-Mode' is a state of mind and we have free will and choice to re-vision the "Mode" in which we navigate through this life. We've practiced transmuting 'Survival-Mode' for *Self-Preservation* in recent years and it is starting to pay off. Sag's gift is *Exploring* the possibilities, while Capricorn's gift is turning those possibilities into *Tangible* Reality. We need BOTH energies, and the lessons they bring.

If we can also use the energy of Mercury Retrograde in Sag (11/24 - 12/13) as well as the Sag/Gemini Eclipse Season this month, then NEXT month when ALL Planets are *Direct* for a brief time (12/25 - 1/23/2012) you can work with Capricorn's energy of ... Defining Your Reality ~ Creating Your Structure ~ Building Your Foundation ~ Renewing Your Definitions (of Everything) ... not to mention this is *INITIATING* 2012! It is vital to at least set your *Intentions* during this *OPEN* Field ... it is the most Fiery Creative Energy available for *Change* and Birthing *ANEW*! Yummm!

PS ~ Also consider the on-going Cardinal Cross which directly engages Uranus (Liberation) in Aries (Independence) ~ Saturn (Structure) in Libra (Balanced Relationships) ~ and Pluto (Transformation) in Capricorn (Responsibility) and this is the time it is *Activating* the Pluto in Capricorn "leg" (11/26 - 1/27/2012) making things fairly *Personal* for us all. Your frame of reference should be Spring & Fall Equinox and Summer Solstice, this Winter Solstice *Initiates* a NEW Year of work and the final one that Saturn will contribute to in this particular way. The Cardinal energies have to do with our *Fundamentals* ~ Home/Work ~ Private/Public ~ Self/Others ~ Individual/Collective. This is an EXCELLENT TIME to deeply *process* the past couple of years and recognize the truly *NEW* Level you're at and *NEW* Reality you're living. It is a NEW Day!!

This is a most pleasant energy, although short lived. This is a good time to enjoy some kind of social activity. No pressure - just easy, laid back fun. It can make you prone to laziness, but only if you’re already prone to it. Otherwise, if you are typically constantly on the go, this energy gives you permission to kick back a little and release the usual pressures to produce. Take some time out to “smell the roses” or at least reflect on all that you HAVE accomplished and give your Self due credit for coming this far. This is a good time to go on a vacation or short trip. This energy tends to bring forth rewards for past actions. Take a moment to give thanks to the powers that be which brought you to this point!

This energy intensifies relationships, for better or worse. Because your values and priorities are shifting, relationships must also undergo a similar adjustment. Beware of value differences that can cause power struggles which are unproductive. Knowledge is power - and in this case, it is better to know than not know. You KNOW it's going to be a challenging time, so don't act surprised when it happens. This energy's sole purpose is to test the validity of a position you took or a statement you made about six months ago. The Universe, and a couple of humans for good measure, will be pointing out your weaknesses, short-comings, lack of preparation and mistakes you've made. Be careful not to be overly sensitive to others or impatient with the progress, or lack thereof, of your current situation. Be assertive but not belligerent and beware of it in others, toward you. This energy brings conflict with authority figures too. If possible, find a positive, physical outlet for your energy this week. If you don't allow your frustrations to be expressed at all, they will explode in the worst way, at the worst possible time; possibly manifesting themselves in illness or accidents. If you don't feel any aggression, anxiety or frustration then you may be suppressing it all, and again, it WILL manifest, ready or not, so beware. And if you are not suppressing it, you may be projecting it and attracting angry, frustrated people to you. If you work WITH this energy, you have access to the ability to do the work and CREATE an authentic life.

Going to the Next Level

Sagittarius energy is all about expansion! Expand means to: make or become greater in size, scope or range or it means to open up and out; unfold. We want to do ALL of that this month! There is a story that Wayne Dyer tells on one of his tapes that illustrates my point perfectly. If you take a pair of shorts with an elastic waist and pull them as far as they will go, they will snap back to normal with no problem. However, when you pull the elastic BEYOND ITS LIMITS, the shorts are NEVER THE SAME AGAIN. That's what we want to do. Extend your Self beyond where you usually give up or stop. Start slow and easy but take some aspect of your mind, body, spirit or life and take it to the next level in some way. Growth isn't always easy and it can sometimes be painful, but the end result is so worth the effort. There's a quote by Vincent Van Gogh, "If you hear a voice within you say 'you cannot paint,' then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced!"

Prayer/Affirmation:
I fearlessly move to the next level, welcoming all the lessons and the blessings that come to me by Divine right.

Another Sagittarius aspect is about exploring other philosophies and ways of living (religions, cultures, etc.) It's about trying new and different things and then taking the parts that resonate with you and combining various beliefs to create your own unique belief system, which works for you. Explore and experiment with different concepts. For a lot of us, we hold on to outdated belief systems that no longer serve our Highest good, it's just old habits dying hard. However, in this day and time, it has become essential that we roll with the changes and adapt. We are being forced to release any preconceived notions about life and the best way to live it. Release any old conditioning that may not even be yours, but you picked it up along the way and don't even realize it.

Prayer/Affirmation:
I am open and receptive to new belief systems which will serve my Highest good, now in this moment and always.

Another principle Sagittarius brings to the table is honesty! However painful or uncomfortable it may be, now is the time to take a good long look at how you're living and if it is really your Truth. This energy is not honest in a critical way (and you shouldn't be either - with your Self or others) but in a detached way, where you access this ability to stand back and accurately assess who and where you are in life. Detachment is not a bad thing when you're trying to figure out where the changes are necessary; where you need to expand and where you need to pull back in your life.

Prayer/Affirmation:
I am detached from the 'how' and 'when' things manifest in my life (that's God's job) and I choose this day to live as honestly as possible, thereby attracting my Truth and Purpose.

Enthusiasm is sometimes ALL we have to attract things into our lives with ... and sometimes that's all it takes. Have you ever been around someone with a contagious personality? They just exude enthusiasm and it gives you permission to be more enthusiastic as well. We need more people like that in the world. But really, when you're trying to manifest, you may not have the money or background that you need, but if you are FULL of enthusiasm, people will listen. A good way to know if you're truly enthusiastic is when it is natural. If you have to think about it, you're on the wrong track - what I'm talking about is a feeling - a gut feeling.

Prayer/Affirmation:
The Eternal Essence of who I am is not my mind (which thinks), but my heart (which feels); I live each day from my heart, come what may.

You are on a Spiritual Quest, whether consciously or not, at this time. Higher learning is underway and you have probably gathered a considerable amount of information lately, and now it is time to assimilate and integrate it all. Take some time in nature, in silence, to listen to what your Higher Self is trying to convey to you at this time. Question long-held beliefs about your Self and others. Rather than living your conditioning, tune in to the Truth as YOU define it and exercise your free will and choice to choose a new path.

Prayer/Affirmation:
I lovingly release long-held beliefs which no longer serve my Highest good and embrace a new truth.

This is the month to expand your thinking. If you are not even open to an ideal, if you haven't even tried to cultivate your own Truth, then this month gives you the incentive to access that part of you. Next month, with Capricorn energy, you can give that ideal a structure and develop a plan for making it tangible, however, this month, only focus on the HIGHEST POSSIBLE OUTCOME. One month of your life, you can free your thinking just enough to allow a new seed to be planted.

I commit to taking the time to discover my Highest Truth and expand my thinking, to dream and dream BIG, then taking the next step to fully expressing the wonder that is my life, the life I created.

Initial Thoughts on 2011

2011 opens with 25 days of *forward* motion ~ NO Retrograde Planets. This is auspicious and juicy! These *portals* are small and rare and worth investing some conscious attention to what you are creating with your own personal energy. Every day brings another *gift* of revelation and energetic support. This year supports RE-Establishing *BALANCE* after a major *HEALING*. 1996 - 2010 had Saturn traversing Aries -thru- Virgo, below the surface, behind the scenes, working on the *fundamentals* of our evolving Saturn Reality. It may have felt very personal to many along the way. As it hits Libra, it moves above the horizon and out in to the world to work on the Social/Collective realms, assuming the Individuals have done the groundwork. As Planets *finish* every Sign, Cycle and New Direction ~ very often, there is a *TEST*. I would encourage you to look for the areas of life where you have done the most personal growth and Self-work, honor what is truly *done* and prepare for the *Test*. We never want to look at life's tests as malicious, it is a natural occurrence, not to be feared, but to be embraced! It will validate your level of mastery (more of Saturn's domain).

An astrological chart is basically a *snapshot* of the sky at any given moment, so if you want to know the *energetic blueprint* for anything or anyone, all you have to do is get this snapshot and study it for the *energies and patterns*. The chart of 1.1.2011 @ 00:01am in Washington, DC/USA ~ has 7* Libra on the Ascendant setting the tone for the year. Where's Saturn? That's right, in Libra! This year will reveal much greater *results and rewards* for the Harvest of Fall Equinox / Sept 2010 -thru- Winter Solstice / Dec 2010 and beyond that, many of you will also see the *results and rewards* of the last 2.5 ~ 7 ~ and 14 years as part of the natural Saturn Cycle. According to Barbara Hand Clow in Liquid Light of Sex, when Saturn passes over the Ascendant like this, there is a major *emptying out* of sorts. This leads to the empty space ~ in-between the old and the new ~ the Sweet Spot between Seed & New Life. So that *in-between* vibration continues in 2011, but at a much higher level because so much *healing* has already been integrated.

My guidance from Saturn has shown that the deep and permanent *healing* done 2007-2010 in Virgo is leading to the renewed balance between all levels of Masculine/Feminine energy, Human, Divine and Galactic. To the degree that the Masculine/Feminine *balance* is restored within the Individual, Social and Collective realms, will be revealed 2012-2015 when it enters Scorpio. Theoretically, after a great healing, you cannot jump back in to *life* too soon, balance must *FIRST* be restored. Once you're healed and balanced, then you can start building power, strength and endurance. It is my feeling that *if* we've healed (Virgo) and reestablished balance (Libra), then directing our power (Scorpio) to create a clean, new 3D/reality (Saturn) is granted by Saturn, The Great Teacher. For those who have not done their Saturn Due Diligence may find they're more in touch with Saturn, The Lord of Karma, which always teaches (one way or another) that your outer 3D/reality is a direct reflection of your internal reality and the labor that goes in to maintaining it.

Part of the lesson of the eternal cycle of Saturn and Uranus, especially in Virgo/Pisces (like 2007-2010), is RE-Aligning life as we know it, one aspect of which is being a Spirit (Uranus in Pisces) in Human Form (Saturn in Virgo). Reverberations from the 1960's ring out. Huge (and numerous) major Cycles converged then and now ~ remember, Earth's 26,000 Year Cycle is not anchored in a day. But how incredible is it that we are all here at this particular turn of the Eternal Wheel? Okay, okay, I'll come back down to Earth and say that Jupiter (expansion) and Saturn (consolidation) represent basic principles of Life and also ALWAYS facilitate great shifts in the Social and Collective realms, while deeply activating the Individuals born under their influence along the way.

This leads me to the other Star of the Show for 2011 ~ Jupiter! When I looked up all the Outer Planets' Activations, Jupiter is, by far, the most active with *7* major Activations. Saturn, Uranus, Neptune all have one Activation each and that's it. The rest is up to us Individuals and how we work with the Personal Planets as they zip around the zodiac engaging our Souls on deeper levels than ever before. Jupiter starts the year (1/4) aligning with Uranus, both in Pisces, the end of the zodiac, to complete their *Initiation* of a 14-year Cycle. This will be the first 14-years of Uranus' NEW 84-year Cycle, which is vital, if you are focused on Truth (Jupiter) and Liberation (Uranus). We have our work cut out for us during this time, beginning stages of anything are delicate. The First Test of this Cycle comes in 2013-2014.

But let's get back to 2011 specifically. Where Jupiter is concerned, those with Planets in Aries/Libra and Cancer/Capricorn will be Activated January to June. Those with Planets in Taurus/Scorpio and Leo/Aquarius will be Activated June to December of this year. Jupiter *expands* all that it touches in an effort to educate you, to open you up to a larger vision and deeper version of the Truth as you know it. Aries brings the *clean slate* energy many of you are feeling. It really is the Beginning of a new 12-year Jupiter Cycle. Whatever New Truth and Story you are initiating will be tested in February as it tags Pluto/North Node in Capricorn. This is to, among other things, ensure that your new beginning is clean and will ultimately serve and benefit both YOU & OTHERS. It is time for you to be responsible for your own Truth & Purpose, as well as the Story you're telling with every thought, word and deed.

Then in March, the third and final Activation comes as Jupiter tags Saturn Retrograde in Libra. This is a major (and personal) *Integration*, especially for those with Aries/Libra Planets. For you, I think it will be a matter of re-visioning your own personal reality, in light of Jupiter's education of the last 3-6-9-12 years. How have you suppressed your Truth to please and appease others? This Activation will help you expand your idea of who you are on a core level and reveal where *stability, balance and reciprocity* may be lacking, within or around you. This Activation will stimulate those with Cancer/Capricorn energies in a different way. For you, there will be more movement and choices involved. I suspect that post-Cancer/Capricorn Eclipses, there isn't much left of your OLD Story or OLD Reality. This Activation is designed to push you "out of comfort zone ~ in to new territory". In this case, I think most of your "movement and choices" will have to do will you *choosing* what Story you want to tell NEXT!

By May, the Element of *FIRE* will be Activated by Jupiter (Aries) and the North Node (Sag) and you may feel a wave of energy that carries you right on to the shore of your NEW Truth & Story. This one is tricky because it is one of those Activations that really requires your conscious intent to benefit from the stellar rays, but I think you can receive a *delicious download* regarding the next step on your NEW Path, if you attune to it. I suggest you develop an *outline* of your NEW Story and then review it for its Social relevance and evolutionary potential. What I mean is, it must reflect your own passion and truth, and also, lead to greater things for you and the world. Remember, these are fairly large and general themes. The Signs that are Activated along the way is what will make it feel personal for you. I recommend knowing the dominant pattern of your own energies and lessons.

This is a good time for almost anything beginning with "re" - re-evaluating, re-doing, re-arranging, re-building, re-covering, re-discovering, re-viewing, re-peating, re-newing, re-storing, re-pairing. It appears I could go on here, but you get the gist. Basically, it means two things: (1) you must communicate more internally, with the Self and (2) you must go over things with a fine-tooth comb, looking for anything you may have overlooked to begin with. That's the opportunity of Mercury Retrograde, you get re-check the details and correct things before they're too big to fix, hopefully.

A new beginning ~ fresh start ~ clean slate is available through the Jupiter/Uranus in Aries Activation ... and who better to assist with clearing the debris and releasing the non-essential to make *room* for your 'new beginning' ~ than Pluto, Lord of Purification & Transformation. If you are ready, open and receptive, they ASSIST you in moving to the next level, creating tangible results and measurable progress. The *Initiation* is *Winter* Solstice, when Sun/Pluto get together (conjunction) in Capricorn, increasing each other's power to purify you and your intentions for the coming new year. They advise, "First, you must rest, replenish, mature and gather strength (power)." *Spring* and *Fall* Equinox, when Sun/Pluto have to consciously work out their differences (square), and you are moved possibly out of your comfort zone, but in to new territory. *Summer* Solstice, when Sun/Pluto have to balance and integrate (opposition) all that you've initiated at Spring-time; it's a time of blossoming and expanding and you are moved to accommodate all that you've created in new, innovative ways.

Assimilate the New & Eliminate the Old
Which May Mean ...

Sideways, Backwards ... THEN Forward!

It was courage, faith, endurance

to surmount all obstacles
which built this bridge.

*Cancer* time, this year (2010) and next (2011), will bring us face-to-face with some major choices and decisions (Eclipses) which will likely require some form of *Assimilation* and *Elimination*. Cancer's gift is *Processing* all that passes through your *system*, taking in the nutrient (that makes the system work) and any excess or toxins that cannot be "assimilated" must be "eliminated". If you do not eliminate them, then blockages (and some form of dis-ease or discomfort) will occur. Quality nourishment (or what you take in to your *system*) is vital and *if* you have held on to anything that has not been put to proper use, then you may be particularly toxic (within or without), and you will have to Cleanse and Heal FIRST, before your can rebuild or fortify your structure (Capricorn).

Digestion, Assimilation & Elimination are truly Cancer's domain and one or all may require periodic "time outs" to process all that has come through your *system* over the last 6-months -to- 1-year (Sun/Moon) ~and~ 10-years ~ 20-years (Eclipses and because of these Eclipses, 2009-2011 Summers bring much more clearing than the usual annual process). Keep in mind that, on one or many levels, you have released the past, you've cleared space and created new *flow* that must also be properly directed ~ this is a 2-way process (in/out). Your Higher Self does this naturally, but ego/personality has preferences and can cause problems along the way. Your Soul has been very busy working on your behalf, positioning you for greatness, stripping the weakness and letting you know the areas of your life which have been in a famine (for however long, for whatever reason). *Cancer* time beckons, "come out of the storm (of life), dry off by a warm fire (your heart), replenish your Self with light-filled food and quality rest!" You are no good to your team, in fact you are a danger and liability to your team, if you are not centered, balanced, properly fortified and fully rested. When you ARE, then you can be alert and focused, strong and productive.

In more practical terms, *Cancer* is the time to restore your energy, replenish your physical and spiritual nutrients, stabilize your foundation, clear your physical body and personal space of the past, any debris and clutter and assess your inner and outer productivity with special attention to strengthening and fortifying yourself so you can CREATE come the next cycle (Leo time). If you work the *Cancer* energy to its fullest potential, you would stabilize within, clearing the channel to open the floodgates (allow flow), access your own deep well/reservoir of energy and resources (use what you've got), and ignite the fire of creativity (be heart-centered and passionate about what you are doing) so you can fulfill your potential and, ultimately, be of *Service* to your Self, your family, your community and the planet.

*Cancer*, being ruled by the Moon, is serious about letting you know that the natural cycles work best when you HONOR THEM, rather than resist! When you fight Nature (or any natural process), you will receive your due lesson unless or until you surrender and realize that (in general) "mom and dad" (Cancer/Capricorn) are right more than they are wrong. You have to give the deep emotions (which are being stirred at this time) a structure and purpose or you'll drown in them. With every penetrating realization, allow it to pass through your consciousness with the last thought being of the Light ... then, get the lesson and the blessing! from whatever memory, experience, choice, decision, and of course, feeling that comes up at this time ... and CLAIM your Truth, Infinite Light and the Highest possible outcome.

Keep in mind that whatever you're feeling can be useful. Trust that *feelings* are one of the major ways of communicating within, your moods are inner *messengers* bringing information in to your conscious mind. Often, we are bombarded by outer messages, very few of which are true or worthy, but simply there to DISTRACT you and/or DISCONNECT you from Source altogether. Your heart - your gut - your core - DEEP WITHIN your being, buried under layers and years of trying to work from the outside-IN ... is your *Inner Compass* just waiting for you to excavate and reconnect with it so it can serve Its true purpose of guiding you on your Path. Working from the outside-IN is not how it works, you HAVE to work from the inside-OUT. Yes, it is a glorious day for those of us who feel "backwards" in the 3-D world (I know I am not alone ;-)) I get the distinct impression we were just 'before our time' and NOW the Universe is READY! We must return to heart-centered, empathic, intuitive, receptive, Divine Feminine way of LIVING ... which is to create ~ contain ~ nurture ~ and protect ... and we're back to *Cancer* energy and lessons.

Remember, 'how you start is how you finish' and *Cancer* Initiates this quarter of the year ~ *Summer* Solstice -to- *Fall* Equinox ~ for there is deep value (and potency) in this (extended) moment in time. Cancer/Leo/Virgo prepares us for upcoming Libra/Scorpio/Sagittarius which will complete the annual cycle. Despite 3-D obligations, clocks, calendars, families, bosses etc all competing for your time and attention, I urge you to put on your 'invisibility cloak' and MAKE TIME for several periodic TIME OUTS (or one long one). Take some time to soak in the Light (before it recedes), bask, and while you're doing that, reflect on all that you've created with your energy and efforts over the course of the last 6-months -to- 1-year.

• How well did your efforts PRODUCE?
• How well did your investments (of all resources: time, energy & money) PROVIDE?
• What is the QUALITY of your return thus far?
• Are there areas of your life BLOSSOMING with overflow, bounty and beauty (and multiplying like crazy)?
• Are there still other areas of your life WILTING, dying on the vine, not being nourished properly or receiving enough Light?
• What do you WANT to do?
• What does your HEART say to do?
• What 'FEELS' right at the moment?
• What should you NOT attempt to continue to grow (in your life)?
• What should you pay some special attention to because you KNOW it will bear fruit if you would just give it some quality, direct and focused energy and attention?

This time, like all times,
is a very good one
if we but know what to do with it.

I'd also like to remind you that 2009-2011 also brings in Cancer/Capricorn Eclipses around the Solstice times, making it even more imperative that you make any decisions regarding 'course correction' at this time. With the Summer Retrogrades, you will have a unique opportunity (in this potent year of change) to regroup this *Cancer* season. *Summer* Solstice and the Sun moving in to Cancer *Initiates* the second half of the year every year and activates a deeply transformative *Integration* process with Pluto in Capricorn. Use this time, at least initially, to gather courage, cultivate integrity, tweak your plan and prepare for the delicious (and fun) creativity you will have access to next month.
