*LIBRA* 2014 ~ Solar & Lunar Guidance

MONTHLY *SOLAR* GUIDANCE: As the Sun moves in to Libra, it activates the Annual Check-In with your Individual Balance & Personal Relationships. Are you healthy and are your relationships reciprocal? This is also the Annual *Harvest* ~ what have you created this year? What will sustain you going forward? What needs to be cleared away? On a personal level, Libra/Other yields the *harvest* of your Aries/Self-Work (on multiple levels) and is particularly potent for the *Cardinal* Family ... LIBRA *Initiation* ~ ARIES *Integration* ~ CANCER/ CAPRICORN *Test/Growth*. This is true every year for folks with this energy activated in their charts, because they fall at the Seasonal shift, but with the continued influx of energies from Pluto in Capricorn (2008-2024), Uranus in Aries (2010-2018) and North Node in Libra (Feb 2014-Nov 2015) ~ it makes the Social/Collective evolution very personal for one and all.

   

This month’s Libra/Aries energy supports the decisions & choices, which are a result of last month’s Virgo/Pisces work of “assessing your strengths & weaknesses” and:

~ Re-committing to balancing your soul-work with your daily work

~ Allowing the fragmented aspects of life to come into cohesive whole

~ Focusing on the little things that make the grand vision (of your life) work

~ What did you discover? What are the results of your assessments?

~ What will restore Libra-Balance within and around you?

~ What needs to be cleared/released for your Aries-Identity to go to the next level and complete your Individual mission by Spring 2015? Use the added support of the Seasonal shift to do your personal work. Change is happening anyway, and postponing choices & decisions will only create more labor & cost down the road. Pay NOW … or pay double later.

  

This *Sacred Season* is About:

*Fall* Equinox gives you the opportunity to reflect on what needs to be assessed & released to prepare you for the final Sacred Season, *SCORPIO* Gate of Power/Access the Ancestors.

--Release all toxic relationships, burdens or obligations

--Release all people & circumstances which have completed their purpose

--Release all imbalance within Self, as well as with those you interact with

--Release all additional weight you may be carrying (physical, emotional etc)

   

--Assess the value & Assign the priority of your current resources

--Assess the value & Assign the priority of your current community

--Assess the value & Assign the priority of your current relationships

--Assess the value & Assign the priority of art, creativity & cultivation of beauty

 

MONTHLY *LUNAR* GUIDANCE: Let me just say again, how organically the Divinations came together. Last month we had all Father Elements + one Mother and this month, we have all Brother Elements + one Sister! It seems we must first address our authority issues and then we can deal with our peer & partner issues. Post 2012, we are all re-learning how to relate, and now rather than just our own families or neighborhoods, we all live in a 'global community'. I once used the example of my Irish Catholic Nana, who had 10 kids in 12 years. When you have 1-2 kids, the rules & guidelines are such 'n such, then you have 3-4 kids the rules change, 5-6 kids they change again and to have this exponential growth in such a short period is essentially what we are experiencing with our global families. It's a LOT - on micro & macro levels. The Aries/Libra Eclipses (we are now at #3 of 6) are actually right on time to assist with course corrections, turning points & the crossroads of old & new patterns, when we must all make individual decisions, while taking into consideration the whole family& community.

 

Your frame of reference for gauging your own personal cycles & patterns are the years: 2004-06 and 1995-97. Fast-forward to now and consider: Oct 2013 ~ April 2014 ~ now, Oct 2014. Are you facing similar independence vs relationship issues? The idea is that cycles repeat, while YOU and the energetic support around you, changes. So every 9-10 years (which in & of itself is a complete cycle) we get a chance to address these particular aspects of life. We go through changes for about 3-years (a typical Eclipse Season) and then things settle into a natural rhythm. Hopefully, as you get to know your Self better, you make better choices & decisions at each go-round. Now, it is just time to *Spiral UP* to your Next Level of your basic Fundamentals in Life: Home vs Work and Self vs Other. We are all 4 - we need all 4 - and when all 4 are balanced & integrated, the rest of Life flows in beautiful, unique ways & stabilizes all.

 

The above is the big picture/general overview, now come back in to Individual/Here & Now Mode - this month brings the Aries Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse (10/8) which is where the current self-work is. We are going to 'break to realign' our personal patterns around desire & purpose to the tune of 10 and 20 years. (Think in 5-yr increments if you have to because those would've been active periods with lots of clues.) But first ...

   

The Libra New Moon (9/24) brings in another round of the Cardinal Cross, pushing us to make personal/internal connections, as well as universal/external decisions. This reminds us that, anytime the Moon is in Aries/Libra or Cancer/Capricorn, it is directly engaging Pluto (Capricorn), North Node  (Libra) & Uranus (Aries) automatically. This happens for a couple of days, 3-times a month, but when New/Full Moon falls in these Signs we have greater access to co-creating and weaving in our individual desires. Then you add the current Aries/Libra Eclipses to the equation and change is definitely the name of the game. The last time we experienced Aries/Libra Eclipses was with an Aries North Node in 2004-2006 and before that, 1995-1997, with a Libra North Node (coming full circle again Feb 2014 - Nov 2015). Since we are finishing up the Scorpio/Taurus Eclipses (on 10/23), which activated a new level of power to create and sustain life, we are learning more and more about this new level of power. That, along with your individual changes, is likely to rattle the cages of your current relationships (private or public) by reflecting what is no longer sustainable, nor desirable.  

 

Libra New Moon is all about setting new intentions around conscious equal partnership, whether public or private, short-term or long-term, balance is the key. Our Guidance suggests that to honor the month of The Scales, we must weigh our personal progress against our obvious manifestations in relationships (for better or worse). It's time to assess the strength & value of each one (one-by-one) and what kind of time, energy & resources you have and are willing to invest further with this person, situation or agreement. Soulful kinship and a sense of belonging is vital for most humans and this year, we will cultivate that more than ever. We can renegotiate as we go, at regular intervals. We can be part of something without being burdened by it. We can have soulful connections without losing ourselves. We can still love each other even if/when we do not agree. It's time to define your individual terms and start renegotiating with those who matter.

 

The Capricorn First Qtr Moon (10/1) brings the focus to how well your Internal Reality 'matches' your External Reality and vice versa. The more OUT of alignment they are, the more challenging and intense this month will be. The more IN alignment they are, then more options become available. It's time to release the non-essential and focus on your true goals. The First Qtr Moon always brings some action and if you have done all the work up to now, Capricorn will reward you with the energy and stamina to ground something crucial to your foundation. As you get more rhythm in your new identity, your home base, foundation and personal structure has to adjust to support you at this new level too.

 

The Guidance speaks to simple, yet potent steps you can take at this time to stabilize your foundation. You have cultivated endurance and persevered through monumental clearings, all of which indicates you are ready to start taking more responsibility for your Self and the condition of your life. There's no more postponing decisions or avoiding due diligence and some things may take longer, but they'll also last longer too!

 

The Aries Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse (10/8) is driving home the message that an aspect of Self must be released, and with gratitude because it has served you well for 10-20 years. You have since evolved and certain things just don't 'fit' the way they used to. This is an unprecedented opportunity to release darkness (anger, bitterness, regrets, fear etc) from the depths of your Being. These are energetic blockages buried deep in the subconscious realms that undermine your goals and dreams in the conscious realms. The energy of the Eclipse can facilitate the perfect 'break to realign' (customized for each individual). It is your sense of Self that is being activated (and upgraded), so naturally, it is revealing all the ways you are no longer that Old "Self". There is nothing to "do" really, except stay focused on the Light, count your blessings and clear space for the New YOU (literally and figuratively) to come up & out to play!

 

We are actually finishing the Scorpio/Taurus Eclipse season, so keep in mind we are stepping into new power and creating a new garden that supplies and supports all that nourishes us, in this new realm, at this new level of consciousness. It's all NEW! Pace yourself as you learn about power in a whole new way. Things we've only dreamed about or thought to be "magical" are becoming a daily occurrence.Recognize how instantly your thoughts manifest. Strengthen the positive thoughts/visions and make any corrections to the negative ones immediately, lest you create more clean-up than is necessary. That said, for all the "new power" we are learning about, this week's Aries Full Moon Lunar Eclipse (in addition to Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio/Libra) is about releasing all that is no longer part of your identity, who you are or what you want in both your personal/intimate relationships, as well as your public/family/community relationships. You will not be able to stay the same old person you were and use the new power effectively. In addition to that, you will not be able to relate to others (Libra) the same old ways either. There is potency in coming together with others (now/this quarter/Sept-Dec 2014) and the cleaner the connection, the better the ultimate creation.

 

Let's consciously use the interruption in the electro-magnetic field that Eclipses afford us to "reboot" how our internal and external systems work, communicate and actually serve our intentions. This is an alignment of the Earth, Sun & Moon, the three entities that most influence our daily rhythm and Earthly existence. This "interruption" is completely NATURAL and happens on a regular basis, every 6-months, so there is nothing to fear. Mercury Retro (10/4 - 10/25) can also help you recognize how your thinking and perceptions influence your choices. In Scorpio, it gives you a chance for a deep purification (of your subconscious mind); and in Libra, it gives you a chance to recalibrate balance within and reciprocity with others. It is truly time to surrender the past, the old & the outdated, in our thinking as well as our actions. Stay present and alert, but also relaxed, so you can better allow your Heart to follow the Universe's lead!

 

The Cancer Last Qtr Moon (10/15) is going to show us where we'd rather "lose a limb" than "let go" but ultimately, "let go" we must. Emotions are running high, security issues are UP, no doubt, but a primary question this week/month remains:  What *feeds* you? On all levels, you take in fuel/nutrient, and you use that in all that you do, create and share with the world. What is your primary source of fuel/nutrient? Cancer energy reminds that you need only process the actual *nutrient*, and you are encouraged to release the *waste*, with some "regularity". It never "ends" as it is a natural process of being alive, we process what we can & release the rest. (Holding onto too much or too long, can become toxic to your system.)

 

Also 'in the air' is support for finding your Soul family or tribe, that circle of human support that honors your individual light and unique spirit. We can create NEW terms & definitions of 'fulfillment & nourishment' going forward. No matter who you are, where you live or what your circumstance is, we are all experiencing a surge in feelings, emotions, intuitions and a deep inner knowing that is directly linked to the heart. We have to practice with our inner compass (heart) as well as develop our individual boundaries (aura), and all at this new earthly frequency, as well as new level of human awareness. If you have grounded your sense of Self & Self Worth, then attracting authentic support from others will come naturally. You have a solid foundation that you have cultivated over time that supports you now. Claim it! If you have not been able to ground this new sense of Self & Self Worth, then all of these energies & activations will help you clarify within, move things around without (around you) and make space for that new sense of Self to feel in to its new space, new levels, new borders & boundaries, new neighbors. Ease in.

 

Libra time (Sept-Oct) brings the annual *personal* report cards, according to some.  I feel like that isn't really until Scorpio but the theory is that we do all our personal/individual work Aries-thru-Virgo, and then we magnetize in Libra/Scorpio/Sag, the people & outer support that matches the inner work we've done, so that with Capricorn/Aquarius/Pisces, we can play in the world and make our unique contributions. No matter how you look at it, Libra time (Oct/Nov) is always about establishing *balance* between our inner & outer selves, personal work & community work and self & other. Who are you and what do you want within the context of your primary relationships? The 'old way' is not supported, but being the New You and relating to others in New Ways IS supported! Just practice ; -) there is no perfection!

*TAURUS* 2014 Solar/Lunar Guidance

MONTHLY *SOLAR* GUIDANCE: As the Sun moves in to Taurus, it is time to see what new forms are worth strengthening & cultivating for the year. When you plant seeds, you never know which will take root, but now you should see some promise around some of the intentions you set for 2014. Our ongoing mantra these days is: Is it worth it? The general energies are intense and transformative and this month, things may get literal. Taurus gets us present to our creature comforts and basic security needs like food, sex & money.  This is an *Annual* Activation for everyone, but for the *Fixed* Family, it can be a little more intense & personal ... Taurus *Initiation* ~ Scorpio *Integration* ~ Leo/Aquarius *Test/Growth*.     

Taurus also represents the Gate of Power, the Mid-Point between Spring & Summer. This is a Infinitely potent time ~ "in between" ~ a place, also referred to as the "Sweet Spot" - that very thin membrane between *SEED* and *NEW* Life ... between *Spring* Equinox (seed) and *Summer* Solstice (new life). It reminds us of the beauty and sustenance Mother Earth has always provided, not just for humans, but for all life on this planet.

    

It is time to tune in, harmonize and synchronize your rhythm with Nature's rhythm. Just like we invite the Invisible Assistance & Ancestors during the November Scorpio Gate of Power which honors Death (in the Life/Death/Life Cycle), we now honor renewed Life, and can now invite the Elementals, Nature Spirits, Devas and the Plant Kingdom in to conscious collaboration, honoring their teachings and sacrifices made to assist, feed and support life on this Planet in ways humans may not always be aware or capable of.

   

This is a time to celebrate fertility, abundance and our relationship to Mother. It is a time to celebrate all that you have created and contributed to, while mindfully preserving *Life* along the way. Ritual, dance, drumming, toning and/or chanting are always used in celebrations of Earth and her bounty, as is wearing or surrounding your Self with *Green* ~ the color of Life/Love ~ and the Heart Chakra.

  

Finally, lending weight to the energies this go-round is Juno in Taurus. Juno takes about 4-years to move through the zodiac, so the last time it was in Taurus was March/April 2010. Again, my Fixed Babies may feel this one a little more strongly than most, but certainly we can all take advantage of her added energy. As we cultivate the Garden, Juno reminds us that we are IN PARTNERSHIP with Mother Earth, and this is a reminder to deepen our dedication to living in more balanced, natural ways. As we finish up the Taurus/Scorpio Eclipses, we have this additional support to commit to LIFE. Patriarchal dominance is a death-oriented system that is unsustainable. Life is created by both the Sacred Masculine & the Sacred Feminine, one or the other cannot create alone, and neither can we.

 

It is time to be grateful for the advances of technology, while still honoring that Nature takes time to cultivate and fully develop Life before it is ripe for the sharing. We must slow down and allow natural processes their time to fully develop otherwise, we miss the sweetness & nutrient. There is much energy for change, which can be chaotic and unsettling, however, you should already be aware of the core issues for you/yours so use this month's energy tune in to any internal 'famine' and know that all you need, desire & deserve is already here. All you need to do is align with it and create space for it in your life. Miracles abound!

 

Even the Divinations guide us toward an understanding of 'As above, so below' ~ that we ARE the bridge between Heaven & Earth; that we are Spirits having a Human experience and we spend most of our lives just coming to terms with the limitations of our earthly bodies ; -) and Taurus time invites us to experience the pleasure & sustenance Mother provides and give deep gratitude for such bounty! The body, like fruit & flowers, has a natural lifespan that is not long by any measure so enjoy the time you have, bask in the present moment, for it truly is a gift.

 

MONTHLY *LUNAR* GUIDANCE: If you missed last month's Lunar/Solar Guidance, I recommend it as these two lunations are related and rolling one in to the other and that missive "set up" this week's continued focus. This week is even more potent and telling! I've mentioned that we have a 'double dose of Sacred Feminine energy to a single dose of Sacred Masculine' and for the guidance this month, I pulled all four Sisters + one Brother! More importantly, Earth Brother & Earth Sister are the only two "mortals" in this version of the tarot, which too, is speaking directly to each of us and our humanity. It is time to fulfill our potential and rise to the next level in every way. That said, we are still talking 'fundamentals' and the basics of life and living on this planet. So don't be overwhelmed, instead, SIMPLIFY, PRIORITIZE & RE-DISTRIBUTE YOUR ENERGY & RESOURCES. Also, I decided to give the guidance 'weekly' below because the guidance was so compelling and supportive of what the planets are doing. Read on for MORE!

    

The Aquarius Last Qtr Moon (4/22) may be challenging you to own your Truth in a completely new way because the old Truth no longer applies. You may have grown accustomed to certain habits, where your food, sex & money are concerned, that will no longer work or support you. This tests you to release the old way and be radically different. The catch is to stay centered in your *HEART* (Leo) as you commit to change and let go of an old way of living your life. What's Truth for you NOW?

  

This leads to the Taurus New Moon/Solar Eclipse (4/29) which is a very powerful Eclipse for all! It is time to set your intentions for the most beautiful, abundant *Garden* your imagination can dream up ~ Right Now! It's time to set your intentions for how you want to live - physically - literally - in your body. How is your physical reality? How equally do you distribute your resources of time, energy & money? Do you find yourself at "zero" on one or all of these (time, energy, money)? How often do you live at "zero"? How often do you experience "full" (plenty-full-satisfied)? When do you experience balance in your physical life, when you get enough rest, play, work & silence?

     

Taurus is always about enjoying the natural, physical life of living on Earth ~ all senses are engaged and deeply valued for each gift they bring to your individual experience. Your senses, like your heart, communicates directly 'from you - to you' and no translator is necessary. A lot of our world forces us to dull our senses because the way we're living is so unnatural that our bodies literally rebel. The last year and a half has been a "rewiring" process of revealing the decay and what is no longer sustainable, and now, with the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Taurus, we can initiate completely NEW ways of living physical life. More focus on the abundance and sustainability ~ more integration and practice of true balance, within and without - more conscious awareness of 'price vs. cost' to our Souls as well as to the environment - more gratitude - more beauty - more lifeforms living in true harmony.

    

This Taurus/Scorpio eclipse series is almost over, this is the final Taurus New Moon and we have the final Scorpio New Moon in October when we will also realign our true power & a renewed discipline that deeply respects and reveres Nature herself as the Source of our supply. For over a year now, how we physically live on Earth and how we utilize Mother's many natural resources has completed a 20-yr cycle, which is naturally part of a couple of much larger cycles. There has been a bit of the 'gorge theory of pleasure' but that is unsustainable. The current rewiring, post-2012, is bringing the Sacred Feminine back in to conscious equal partnership with the Sacred Masculine, which promotes & sustains LIFE! One without the other does not work, for us or the planet. As we practice individual balance and internal harmony, we will start to see that Mother's abundance & security surrounds us, now & always. What physical reality would bring you the most physical pleasure & personal security? What is NATURAL for you personally? What are you ready to invest in?

 

The Leo First Qtr Moon (5/6) actually falls on the Taurus Gate of Power, so this is a potent day and week for initiating new Heart-Centered ways of living your physical, daily life. Where is the Heart in your life, that undeniable passion that sparks you from within? Where is the love in your life? How often do you laugh and play and just relax with friends? All this needs to be integrated in to your life on a regular basis, you may have been in a famine for way too long (many have). Use this Sacred week to connect to your own wealth, count your blessings and look for solid ways to expand that wealth in some kind of way. Check in with your magnetics, what are you attracting? what are you repelling?

     

This is the Mid-Point between Spring & Summer and it is a prime opportunity to access balance and equilibrium prior to the extremes associated with the coming season. You have 6-wks to rectify accounts and clear space for the bounty coming your way. You have done a LOT of literal and spiritual work over the last 2-5 years and this is a growth & development kind of time. Even if you are overwhelmed, you have to have some idea of how you'd like to live differently. Say a prayer inviting your Higher Self and your personal Guides (of which you have many assigned to you from birth) to clear the path for you so you can make the best choices for YOU! Ask them to align you with the energy and the resources to stabilize your life. You are deeply supported to do all this in a NEW way.

 

The Scorpio Full Moon (5/14) is powerful release time! We are literally coming to the end of a 2-month eclipse *Portal* and life will never be the same again. This is the week we completely release the past and compost all the death & negativity we've witnessed or experienced in the last several years. We have learned and lived SO much in the last 2-5 years, as well as the last 10 & 20 years, as we crossed over 2012. We are in such new territory that the only things you can take with you now are internal, on a Soul level - that's your power and your wealth now. It's time to conceive the new, then the Gemini lunation will explore the possibilities, while the Cancer lunation will figure out what truly feeds, sustains & protects you, and then the Leo lunation will test you further on the very things coming up for you NOW.

     

If you haven't conversed with your Soul in a while, now is the time to get reconnected. That connection is NEVER lost, but only needs regular fortification to serve you well. The guidance further supports this notion of the inner connection that creates the outer reality: "The Water Sister represents the power of the emotions and the unconscious/subconscious to give sustenance to idea. Since she is born from the unification of her father and mother, Fire and Water (the superconscious and the subconscious), she symbolizes the process of creation; the beginning of imagination on the physical plane."

Experience More Freedom in Your Everyday Life

As with most things, there is one catch ... you have to know what you want. Do you know what you want? Out of life? Your career? Your relationships? Your friendships? It’s not easy narrowing it down, but it can be done. It takes all the things that Capricorn, Saturn and the 10th House represent. Focus, consistency, order, and being responsible for your Self and your actions. This is the month you can really connect to that extra boost of power that may be just what you need to put you over the top. I suggest you use the available energy to tap into what it is you really want. Priorities change throughout life, but especially for a lot of us in the last year. Take some time each day to focus on your priorities and what exactly it is you are trying to accomplish with your life.

Prayer/Affirmation:
Thank you God for connecting me to my truth and purpose.

Do you work long hours, just to come home and collapse on the couch until you crawl into bed? Do you create projects or obligations that take you away from the people and projects that really nourish and support who you are? I know people who have been going to work and coming home for years. They have given up any semblance of a true life, let alone a personal or social life ... all under the guise of it being “for the family”. GET OFF THE TREADMILL ! Finally, you wake up one day and decide to make yourself create a way to make the same amount of money (or hopefully more - think BIG!) in less time so that your time would be freed up for your personal needs, desires and goals. All it takes is one step in the right direction too. Once you have made one decision to free yourself from your self-imposed prison (of sorts), more ideas will start flowing to mind. It’s like opening a treasure, once you start digging you find more and more, in this case, ideas! Just changing your mind can make you feel better and more capable of living a fulfilling life. And you haven’t even done anything yet! But when you feel better, aren't you naturally more productive?

Thank you God for connecting me with the ability to release any and all self-defeating beliefs or belief systems.

All that sounds good, but a lot of people ask “how?” You have to take responsibility for who and where you are in your life before you can move on. You have to see how your choices have gotten you here in the first place and how making new choices might take you somewhere better. Opportunities or good ideas do not usually knock on your door. You must actively seek them and be open and receptive to the form they come in, because that too, may be different than you expected.

Thank you God for helping me to see clearly how my free will and choice (which You have bestowed upon me) has created my life.

Thank you God for connecting me to my innate ability to connect with only those people, places or things which are for my Highest good.

The other thing I suggest is, to choose only one area of your life to improve at a time. Many of us get very excited about new concepts. We set some goals, spend some money, tell anyone who will listen, get started ... then get overwhelmed and give up on everything. It’s too hard to change your whole life at one time. Then you have this awful sense of failure, which keeps you from trying ... again and again and again until you get it right. Don’t set yourself up like that. Try to find one common denominator; some one thing that is, somehow, connected to everything else.

Hi All ~ Happy Solstice! I have more to share before year's end, but wanted you to have the *Winter* Solstice energetic *support* to guide you through this weekend and in to the First Qtr of the year. There is a 37-min Audio that covers the *Winter* Solstice Overview, Chart and I-Ching Guidance. As you listen and *Initiate* your *NEW* Year, consider all the tremendous *support* we have from the current planetary movement, cycles and alignments. Solstice initiates our long-term goals, while within 48-hrs the Capricorn New Moon initiates our *personal* goals, the *NEW* Reality we'd like to fully experience in the coming year *2012*. You may want to reflect on the July 2011 Capricorn Full Moon *Release* work you did to clear a space for this New Reality to anchor. Capricorn energy is all about how you hold your own structures, maintain your own foundations and are responsible for your own contribution.

Now, consider Jupiter going Direct at Zero *Taurus* (12/25) right after the Capricorn New Moon (12/24). We've now (theoretically) completed the *Annual* Editing process Jupiter brings with its Retrograde. Taurus brings up what everything is *Worth* ~ what you're worth, what your investment in Self & Others is worth, where your values lie at this time and what your priorities are around your personal *comfort* and 3D existence are concerned. Jupiter is the larger *Story* but if you have any Taurus/Scorpio or Leo/Aquarius Activated in your chart, then it gets *personal* for you. For the rest of us, we need to consider the Houses ruled by those Signs to see where Jupiter is evolving our own personal stories.

The other thing that jumps out as relevant to mention is all of this Capricorn/Cancer Energy is a *Response* to the last energy (Sag/Gemini Eclipses etc) and *Preparation* for the next leg of the journey come Aquarius/Leo work. So Sag/Gemini got us all thinking in completely new ways, which is now catalyzing *Choices & Decisions* ... which will lead to what we are able to manifest in *Form* and stabilize so that it supports us going forward in to the next round of energetic *Work*.

With all that in mind, note that Mercury will finish its extended stay in Sag by Jan 8th when it will move in to Capricorn. I suspect that will be when many of the *Ideas & Concepts* you've entertained and invested in over the last year will finally begin to take on a discernable *Form & Shape* that you can then build on. Jan 9th brings the Cancer Full Moon, which too will *Illuminate* which ideas will actually *Feed* you in some substantial way in the coming 6-months, most likely by revealing any *Famine* you've experienced over the last year. Now & Always, despite holiday *obligations* or any challenging *appearances*, the Universe continues to support our *Evolution* so tune in when/where you can and give a nod to the *Source* Energy which brings the *Blessings & Miracles* truly possible as we step in to this delicious & potent New Year! Hi All ~ I worked Major *Mojo* 11/11 thru 11/22 and then shifted for family obligations and like you, had to *simultaneously* navigate the intense Eclipse energy and incoming Mercury Retrograde. I have used the *Overview* + *Chart* portions of the Sag *Lunar* Tele-Class (11/17) as our Guidance for *NOW*. I just re-listened and found it tremendously useful! Sagittarius time every year, affords you the opportunity to *Deepen Your Truth* and *Expand Your Story* ~ to move from the revelations of Scorpio's *Raw Truth* ... to the inspirations of Sag's *Higher Truth* ... to make *meaning* out of all that has been brought in to the Light. We're also at the *Mid-Point* in the Jupiter Annual Cycle (Sag's Ruler) with one month left to complete the *Editing* Process Jupiter Retrograde brings (every year). Once it moves forward (12/25), so too will ALL that you *Clarify* at THIS time, when the Sun/Moon/Mercury/Venus/North Node all make their way through the sign of the Archer!

I have always thought Scorpio was my favorite time of the year but I'm amending that to include the whole last quarter of the year. Scorpio is the best because it clears out the old, Sagittarius is the best for dreaming up the future and Capricorn is the best for initiating the foundation for those dreams to expand on. I *LOVE* this time of year! It so beautifully supports this natural evolution. I can also testify that after working mojo *WITH* the energies over the years, it has always produced results directly equal to the investment of my own energy. I say that to say, you can invest a little or a lot and yield tangible results based on your efforts.

Another thing to consider is that the Sag *Work*( (11/22-12/22) is leading to the ONLY (almost) 30-day period of the entire year when ALL the planets are moving in forward motion ~ which means NO HOLDING BACK! Dec 25th (Jupiter Direct) until Jan 23rd (2012 - Mars Retro) provides a small window of opportunity to hold your own counsel, tune in to the cosmos and your Higher Self and come up with a new and improved vision for your life. I suggest you use the holiday season to give your Self the GIFT of TIME to reflect and plan. You are standing on this side of a bridge, about to crossover to completely new, and as yet, unknown territory, which deserves more than a fleeting thought.

As I ruminated the relationship between Sagittarius and Capricorn, many things started to dance in my consciousness. The energy of faith, optimism and enthusiasm (Sagittarius) to create a reality (Capricorn) based on your personal Truth (Sag) and ultimate Purpose (Capricorn) for being here. It CANNOT just be the proverbial 'struggle from the cradle to the grave'. 'Survival-Mode' is a state of mind and we have free will and choice to re-vision the "Mode" in which we navigate through this life. We've practiced transmuting 'Survival-Mode' for *Self-Preservation* in recent years and it is starting to pay off. Sag's gift is *Exploring* the possibilities, while Capricorn's gift is turning those possibilities into *Tangible* Reality. We need BOTH energies, and the lessons they bring.

If we can also use the energy of Mercury Retrograde in Sag (11/24 - 12/13) as well as the Sag/Gemini Eclipse Season this month, then NEXT month when ALL Planets are *Direct* for a brief time (12/25 - 1/23/2012) you can work with Capricorn's energy of ... Defining Your Reality ~ Creating Your Structure ~ Building Your Foundation ~ Renewing Your Definitions (of Everything) ... not to mention this is *INITIATING* 2012! It is vital to at least set your *Intentions* during this *OPEN* Field ... it is the most Fiery Creative Energy available for *Change* and Birthing *ANEW*! Yummm!

PS ~ Also consider the on-going Cardinal Cross which directly engages Uranus (Liberation) in Aries (Independence) ~ Saturn (Structure) in Libra (Balanced Relationships) ~ and Pluto (Transformation) in Capricorn (Responsibility) and this is the time it is *Activating* the Pluto in Capricorn "leg" (11/26 - 1/27/2012) making things fairly *Personal* for us all. Your frame of reference should be Spring & Fall Equinox and Summer Solstice, this Winter Solstice *Initiates* a NEW Year of work and the final one that Saturn will contribute to in this particular way. The Cardinal energies have to do with our *Fundamentals* ~ Home/Work ~ Private/Public ~ Self/Others ~ Individual/Collective. This energy's sole purpose is to test the validity of a position you took or a statement you made about six months ago. The Universe, and a couple of humans for good measure, will be pointing out your weaknesses, short-comings, lack of preparation and mistakes you've made. Be careful not to be overly sensitive to others or impatient with the progress, or lack thereof, of your current situation. Be assertive but not belligerent and beware of it in others, toward you. This energy brings conflict with authority figures too. If possible, find a positive, physical outlet for your energy this week. If you don't allow your frustrations to be expressed at all, they will explode in the worst way, at the worst possible time; possibly manifesting themselves in illness or accidents. Happy Re-Birthday to all, and especially Aries folks! For many people (past the age of 25), birthdays come with a mixture of hope for the new and stress over the old, what's done (or not done) by now. We all experience some degree of "review" during birthday time. So - good news first - those who are craving a clean slate / fresh start - THIS is your chance!! Bad news is - it will not be an 'easy' new start, except maybe for those of you who love a challenge and thrive on overcoming obstacles.

This month of Aries, as I do every year, I give you PERMISSION TO BE SELFISH!! One month is no time to assess and plan for one year (and beyond). This month you should be focused on YOU! Your needs, your desires and what you deserve in exchange for the energy you share in your personal and professional life. Exchange, flow, reciprocity are all mandatory but the only way to ensure that energy flows freely is to remove all the blockages within. Mars and Pluto are working diligently, over a very long period of time, to ensure a permanent shift in your perception of need vs. desire.

FAITH ~ RISK ~ COURAGE ... *NOW*

~ FAITH ~ that you ARE in the right place, at the right time, with the right people for the lesson and the blessing. Faith in your Self, your Truth, your abilities, and your contribution as worthy and necessary. Faith that God is the Infinite Source of your supply and you already possess all that you need to maintain your life.

~ RISK ~ a willingness to risk investing in your own potential ~ for your own sense of accomplishment ~ for your own forward movement ~ to make progress in your own life. It seems that we are all willing to take incredible risks on behalf of people or entities which, in my humble opinion, are hardly worth it (in this context), not to mention the fact that these very same people and entities would NEVER risk (to any degree) for YOU! Remember, never allow someone else to be your PRIORITY ... if you are only their OPTION!

~ COURAGE ~ to face your fears and do it anyway, which is TOTALLY supported, even encouraged by Mars/Aries energy by the way. Courage of your convictions - to stand up for what you believe in even if no one close by agrees with you. Right or wrong in the end, when you are courageous enough to go after what you want, stand up for what you believe in, do what others are afraid to even try and/or take a step in the direction of your goals, you earn self-respect as well as the respect of others.

So this month, there are a couple of things to keep in mind while you go about organizing your life for spring renewal / re-birthday / and all these initiation energies (among others). This Season in particular, the transformation (Pluto) of your values & relationships (Venus), the expansion (Jupiter) of who you are and your core drives (Sun), and expressing your thoughts (Mercury), your deepest desires (Mars) and emotions (Cancer) are all giving you an opportunity for a breakthrough!

Squares in astrology are usually described as "hard angles" that the planets make to each other, so while it will likely be stressful in the moment, please keep somewhere in the back of your mind, as you move through this month and interact with others, that the whole point of any challenge(s) or blockage(s) which do pop up, are only to help you facilitate some very necessary (and long overdue) change(s). They are also giving you a palpable opportunity for ULTIMATE MASTERY of Self, for finally 'getting' the lesson so you can move on to other things.

It is advisable to be 'courageous' and 'faithful' and take a risk in choosing a new response, which will in fact elicit a new result. Stability and healing are the ultimate goal of the current energies and change is good!

Fall Equinox / September 2010 brought *2* Aries Full Moons, *Initiating* everyone to (at minimum) the next 6-months (to Spring Equinox 2011) of Full Moons at their final degrees, which are pushing the *Individual* each month to recognize, release and recalibrate ~ in preparation for ~ many more *major* Initiations coming soon. This was a delicious opportunity to clear the last 20-years (or more) and prepare space for a completely *NEW* Individual, Social and Collective *IDENTITY*. Now, we are coming up on Gemini Full Moon / Lunar Eclipse (3 of 6) which is also *Initiating* a major cycle last seen 2001-2003 (w. Gemini N Node) and 1991-1994 (w. Sag N Node). We can use the next 6-12 weeks (Winter Solstice to Spring Equinox 2011) to consciously course-correct aspects of our lives related to Gemini/Sagittarius. We are being asked to release the old, stale ideas, belief systems and stories and cultivate more vibrant, diverse, life-affirming stories which preserve and promote *LIFE*. When one rises, we all rise. It is time. Try to get out under the sky if possible, whether you can see the Eclipse or not, you can *infuse* your Being with the energy and vibration of this Full Moon that bathes and prepares your mind-body-soul connection to better assimilate the *Initiation* of Winter Solstice ~ a Clean Slate. New Beginning. 0* Capricorn / New Reality is seeded, simply through your focus ~ whether 5-minutes or 5-hours ~ it's the *quality* of your focus that matters. Take some time on your own to clarify what you've released with 2010 and what you're initiating with 2011. To simplify, use Dec 20th to *Complete/Release* (past) and Dec 21st to *Initiate/Anchor* (future) and be *PRESENT* the whole time!

The other thing worth mentioning at this time is that we will experience the Lunar Eclipse, a brilliant time to release old thought patterns and lifeless stories ... and then about *16* hours later, we have the brand New Beginning of *Winter* Solstice, when we seed our (Capricorn) reality for the coming year. Based on all that is stable and worthy, we expand on what we birthed in 2010 ... while that which has not taken root or proven sustainable, must be released so your individual resources can be redirected more efficiently. This is the time to plant your seeds that will quicken by *Spring* Equinox and fully bloom by *Summer* Solstice 2011.

*Winter* Solstice ~~ Initiates the Solar year and welcomes the Return of the Light. Things appear dormant on the surface, however, much life is developing beneath the surface ~ in preparation for Spring. Still a time of relative darkness and limited mobility, you are most supported for working behind the scenes, communing with other realms, honoring darkness and silence and receiving information, nourishment and replenishment with a clear intention of strengthening yourself for soon-to-come action and forward movement. Next Season is a little more 'mental' but this Sacred Season is about what you *feel* on the deepest levels and creating space to move from that Center within ... out in to the world to be a useful and dynamic participant in Life. This is the time of year to set your intentions for what you want to create, within your own Being and out in the world through good works. Gemini 2010 ~ Cultivating Your Authentic Voice

The truth is that our finest moments

are most likely to occur when we are feeling

deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled.

For it is only in such moments,

propelled by our discomfort,

that we are likely to step out of our ruts

and start searching for ...

different ways or truer answers.

Searching for "different ways" (Gemini) or "truer answers" (Sagittarius) ... May I remind you that as a "human" you are dual by nature (Gemini) ... and so much MORE! (Sagittarius) Add "human" to "being" and now you are *multi-dimensional*. I find it far more useful these days to look at the energies AND their polar opposites to get a more balanced understanding of what I am experiencing. And beyond that, I notice, I've been reminding people almost constantly that "life has become an 'AND' ... not an either/or". You have to multi-task to get ANYTHING accomplished and/or completed these days. Why is that? Because, you are SIMULTANEOUSLY: dying and being born anew; leaving the past behind and moving toward an unknown future; releasing and acquiring on a multitude of levels. You, my multi-dimensional friend, have many layers to your being which are being activated and/or shifted in dramatic and permanent ways.

Gemini time is the *approach* of the 6-month mark of the year and Summer Solstice, just as its polar opposite, Sag, is the *approach* of the culmination of the year at Winter Solstice. At this stage, we are still gathering information that will (hopefully) translate into Sag's wisdom come the completion of this annual cycle. Every year around Gemini time, several planets retrograde (appear to pull back, slow down or reverse altogether) indicating it is time to 'gather information' to make better decisions upon forward movement in a month or two. At this time, multiple aspects of our individual and collective lives require that we 'check-in' and 'assess' where we are, how far we've come and just how much further we have to go. Review the last 6 months so you can make any necessary adjustments for the upcoming 6 months, in the hopes of getting something worthwhile accomplished by year's end. At the half-way mark of any cycle you are given a choice ~ an opportunity to choose differently based on the experiences and information you've gathered thus far. So, how is 2010 shaping up for you? (Can you believe it is half over already?) Are you moving in the direction you want to be moving in? *NOTE* Summer and Winter Solstices are potent times of the year every year, they fall in Cancer / Capricorn every year, however, 2009-2011 also brings the Cancer/Capricorn Eclipses. Your frame of reference for this Cycle will be 1988-1992 and 1998-2002. It is highly useful to work the Gemini/Sag Lunar and Solar energies each year, even more vital at this time.

Gemini energy brings to mind: change, duality, choice(s) to make, fork in the road or crossroads, and of course, transition. Gemini is ruled by Mercury, which moves along side the Sun in its travels through the sky so it is easiest to catch a glimpse of Mercury during dusk and dawn, when the Sun's light is coming or going. These are the two times a day also often recommended for meditation as the veils are thinner and COMMUNICATION is easier between the visible and invisible realms. Additionally, dusk and dawn also represent that potent in-between stage that transition represents. We stand at this zero-point of possibilities.

Transition originally meant "going across or over" ... as in changing from one state of form or being to another. What is powerful about this is not in the 'being here or there', but in being PRESENT wherever you are. If you are consciously participating in life, then this is a potent time for you. However, if you are overwhelmed and your systems are on overload, you are going to short-circuit and most likely have to go down, before you can go back up and function effectively.

*Spring* Equinox ~ Vernal Equinox ~ Ostara ~ Around March 20th each year, we have the third of *8* Sacred Seasons ~ *INITIATING* a Renewal of Life & Light, Re-Birth and Resurrection. Vital energies and resources are now more readily available. It's time to plant seeds and initiate projects that will show promise by *Fall* Equinox. It is the first re-balancing of the Light, coming from predominantly Internal/Dark/Shadow/Fallow time and returning to an External/Light/Fertile time. Spring & Fall represent *Balance* and *Increase*, equal Light & Darkness, equal Day & Night. Sunrise and Sunset are *always* the best time to meditate as the veils between realms are thinner making clear communing easier and more productive. Consider the Solstices to be Initiation/Integration times and Equinoxes to be times of Change, Movement, Choices and Decisions. Spring Initiates New Life ~ Fall Assesses the Quality of the New Life and marks its on-going progress ... Assessing: what takes root (works & evolves), what needs more time (incubation & more care) and/or what should be released altogether to begin anew (compost & re-direction of the energies).

Also, the Sun enters Aries and initiates a brand new astrological year. It's time to be more physically active, to try new things, do some Spring cleaning (on many levels). You can choose what type of *Renewal* you'd like to experience every year. For example, one year you may want to focus on renewing the body or renewing your sacred space or renewing your relationships (to Self and others) ... you decide ~ get creative and dedicate a year to see what you can create when you work with the natural rhythms as well as the time and space you live in. It's time to *Initiate* a new aspect of your essential nature and deepest Self, which you may have only recently developed or discovered, to have the courage to live your Truth and serve your Purpose. It's time to look at the world through the eyes of a child, hopeful and excited about the adventure you are embarking upon and faith that all will be well on the journey.

A non-doer is very often a critic.

That is someone who sits back

and watches doers ...and then waxes philosophically

about how the doers are doing.

It's easy to be a critic,

but being a doer requires

EFFORT, RISK & CHANGE.

This 6-week period covers ALL of Aries and initiates Taurus. It is a potent time for internal renewal and external new beginnings! The Creative Spark of Life (Aries) and the work of Cultivating Beauty and Value (Taurus) are what this Sacred Season is all about. The Re-Birth of Spring permeates all life (in this hemisphere), we experience a brief moment of *balance* between light and shadow before moving with the increasing light and life that Summer brings. This is your *Initiation* time ~ reborn from the ashes of the past year ~ on to a clean slate, fresh new canvas ~ what will you create this year? It's time to take full responsibility for your life, what you create and how your energy affects the world around you. Aries rules *Independence* and being self-sufficient during this time of global shift is more important than ever. It's taking on a much deeper meaning this year, in that, so many things that used to "work", no longer work; structures that used to support are no longer viable; support that used to be available is not as easily accessed at this time.

The personal planets travel through the zodiac at various speeds, stimulating each Sign in succession, the order of which varies according to their speed and direction as well. For some time now, Venus has been leading the way, suggesting that we much first clarify the priorities and assess the worth and value of intended actions. Then Mercury comes in and says, "OK, you now know what's important to you, let's explore the possible range of that!" and ideas start bubbling within your consciousness, others offer their unsolicited perspectives, a dialogue begins. And finally the Sun joins them, in this case, illuminating the Aries/Libra dynamic, with emphasis on Aries: New Beginnings, Rebirth & Renewal (the emphasis is on Libra in Sept/Oct each year). As soon as we initiate this year (March 20th), we have a couple of weeks to anchor the new identity, the new idea, the new relationship or project before the above "order" shifts (because of Mercury's Retrograde). Just do it!! Get moving - get started!! Sometimes, that's the hardest part - but NOT usually during this particular annual window of time. Taking calculated risks (on faith) and implementing well-thought-out plans (with optimism) is completely supported, you need only be prepared to improvise along the way as things do not often match the vision in our heads but that shouldn't stop you from creating or having a vision to begin with. Be open to *NEW* forms. Tune in to *Essence*. Allow for evolution to unfold.

Plant the seeds of a new year, new cycle and new *YOU* and prepare for Mercury's upcoming review in Taurus (we'll get to that a little later). For now consider that this month (March 20 - April 20) the Pluto in Capricorn ~ transforming reality ~ is going to feel very personal, pushing everyone out of comfort zone, in to new territory. Work with it! Don't fight it. Determine what you MOST want to transform about your individual Self and open to the many possible outcomes if you were to successfully transform that particular aspect of Self. If you were to completely change on a fundamental level, what you and your life look like? more importantly, what would they *feel* like? After we get through the initial shock of re-birth, (rest and replenish before next big move) we can then activate Taurus and begin exploring those feelings and new sensations. Practice *feeling* whole and protected and happy and centered and *ALIVE*. Taurus energy pushes us to tune in to our physical world and create with our own hands, something both useful and beautiful. Taurus energy turns Aries fiery enthusiasm in to a smoldering passion that will last longer and create something much more tangible and lasting. If you're paying attention, you too can adjust the *flame* as needed: are you in fiery, idea-mode or are you ready to cook that in to something yummy?

Aries is the Athlete and there is no other sign so *physical* as Taurus, so this whole season is tremendously supportive of working on your physical structure and/or stabilizing 3-D in some way. Devote some time to speed, endurance, strength and flexibility. Use this Sacred Season to improve the balance and stability of your Being, your life and your environment. Reflect on the last couple of months and the Mars Retrograde in Leo, what have you discovered about 'who you are' (on a core, essential level) and 'what you want' (deep in your heart)? The chance to re-work your desires occurs with Mars every 2 years, so if you get in rhythm with it, creating what you want (Mars rules your desire nature) gets a rhythm to it too and you become much more effective in shorter amounts of time. Use the information revealed to determine the next 90-days. Keep in mind this quarter is tremendously potent and sets the tone for the entire year. Use the first *3* Lunations to clear a space (Full Moon) for the *new* to take root (New Moon) ~ set your intentions ~ do your rituals ~ stay alert and listen for guidance along the way.

This Sacred Season is about *Initiation* ~ activity, growth and expansion. It's about activating vital life-force energy and being surprised by what ultimately blossoms. You can never predict, only sow the seeds, till the soil and work with the elements to ensure *Life*. Throw all issues and (perceived) limitations in to the compost pile to be recycled into something useful, redistribute this fertilizer and tend to the seedlings that show tangible promise. Mercury is going to come along in April (and May) and spend an extended period in Taurus, which will assist you in cultivating the good ideas and simmering the others till they are ready to share.

The only exact hit this Season is Mercury Retrograde in Taurus, cultivating ideas behind the scenes, joining the Sun in Taurus pushing your nature a bit. This energy makes you want to "do" or produce tangible results (as opposed to "talking" about it). It is an extremely useful energy which will help you clarify and align your thinking with the identity you are cultivating at this time. Look for new perspectives on the quality of your life. Are you enjoying *present moment* ~ giving gratitude for your blessings? Are you looking for opportunities for pleasure (or blockages/delays)? You usually find whatever you're looking for. This is a potent time to re-think how you really express your values, through how you direct your energy and resources. It's time to renew beauty and pleasure in your daily life too.

4/28 ~ Mercury Retro/Sun in Taurus ~ ALL Earth

*NOTE* ~ ALL direct connections between Mercury (your voice) and the Sun (your identity) this year coincide with the Mercury Retrograde periods, which is an indication that re-viewing your thoughts, ideas and concepts of who you are ~ getting more practical and grounded ~ is all being stimulated this year. In between Retrogrades, they will connect in Pisces (March) and Cancer (June) which is an additional indication that *feelings* are communicating with you as well. Look for the messages and do some processing in between because this will be just as important as the Retrograde work. If you do well on the re-view, then the direct motion should support following your feelings and intuition because theoretically, you've gotten multiple perspectives and gained more clarity. Now forward movement will be more productive and you will feel more stable and secure.

This Sacred Season will be initiating on so many levels. The *Integration* that Oppositions bring is vital. With such larger themes of renewal, this time would be best served anchoring your *new* identity and priorities, while maintaining healthy boundaries and taking things one step at a time. Saturn is the common denominator here, the planet of boundaries, limitations and structure. These are not necessarily bad things until they are in excess, then they become blockages, delays and stagnation. All is widely available so watch your choices on how you navigate this time. Saturn is Retrograde, for these current activations, doing the overlapping work of completing Virgo (healing the structure/creating a new system) and initiating Libra (recalibrating relationships and responsibilities).

So ~ in the first activation between Sun (Identity/Source) in Aries (Independence/New Beginning) and Saturn Retro in Libra (Balance/Reciprocity), you get an opportunity to review your commitments ~ both to your Self and to others. This coincides with Spring Equinox, initiating a completely new year and this initiates the Saturn 2+ year process through Libra. This sets the tone for the on-going work of your independence within the context of relationships (Aries/Libra) ~ how your renewed Identity (Sun/Aries) is automatically shifting the Balance, Reciprocity and the Reality of your Relationships (Saturn Rx/Libra). It's time to re-think and ultimately, re-negotiate the terms of your commitments. We want responsibilities we are glad to take on because we care about what we are contributing to and release the obligations that are weighty with other people's baggage. Use this whole Season to reflect on this and look for forward movement in the Summer.

3/21 ~ Sun in Aries / Saturn Retro in Libra ~ Fire/Air

Later in the Season, April 26th, we have the 4th (of 5) activations between Saturn and Uranus. This is the final contact (for 42+ years anyway) on the Virgo/Pisces axis (final polarity) which is an indication that the Virgo/Pisces work is somehow vital to initiating the Aries/Libra work and the new cycle. This is a Social and Collective Activation that will *ping* everyone 5 times over a 2-year period (2008-2010) and it made me think of the "5-Act Structure" of a theatrical performance. Our initiation was Nov 4, 2008 (US Election Day) and we have two more in 2009, February and September; with the final two in 2010, April and July.

*UPDATED* ~ Initiating a *NEW* ERA / *This aspect is ONGOING for the next 2yrs. This is the BIGGIE ... of the month, of the year, of four DECADES! Saturn in Virgo Oppose Uranus in Pisces, which is going to have FIVE exact hits (3 is 'normal') over the next 2 years, anchoring then next 40+ years. These are two energies that get together like this every (approx) 42 years (half of the Uranus 84yr cycle) and they shake up our fundamental foundations and structures to bring in new life, new energy, new ideas and new directions. Needless to say this energy strongly affects large groups of people, on the social and collective levels. The individuals feeling this the most will be those with any Virgo/Pisces and/or Gemini/Sagittarius in their chart. This is a time of ‘radically shifting’ (Uranus) your fundamental foundations (Saturn) in a push-pull dance. Watch extremes in either direction, too rigid vs. too radical. The point of this energy, individually and collectively, is to break you out of stagnation that is suffocating your growth and expansion on many levels, some mundane (job, marriage, long-term patterns or habits) and some on higher levels (consciousness, community, life on Earth). Early in the Season, Mars finally Direct in Leo makes its first notable contact to Saturn Retrograde in Libra. Now that you know who you are (Leo) and what you want (Mars), this is a vital opportunity to review your own structure and foundation as well as that of your relationships. Will it support the *new* you? You are going to want to define your terms, again, with Self and others and this process may be primarily behind the scenes, tangible results coming in June. This is Energy (Mars) and Stamina (Saturn) coming together, in Fire (Creativity) and Air (Ideas) Signs, Leo (Self-Love/Courage) and Libra (Balance/Reciprocity in Relationships). There is a LOT to work with during the first part of this new year. Maximize it by clarifying your intentions along the way.

As stated above, Venus is leading the personal planets at this time, so as Venus, then Mercury, then the Sun move in to Aries, they will engage the larger energy of Neptune and Chiron finishing their Aquarius work of uniting and healing the culture of humanity with all life on this planet. We will have to work very hard to ensure that technology serves as tools for evolution and positive change and right now, the collective cycles get very personal. In Aries, you should focus on renewal (life) and releasing the past (death). It's time to be pro-active on behalf of your Self, it's time to get fired up about something relevant and fully step in to a new *you*.

This energy gets everyone present to how beautiful and bountiful life on Earth can be. This Season holds the annual evolutionary push between Sun (Identity/Source) and Pluto (Purification/Transformation) ~ Self and Collective ~ Outer Surface and Deepest Inner. Friction is created between the Individual's need for autonomy and its ability to be responsible enough to handle that autonomy with integrity and steadfastness. This is the time of year, during Pluto's 16-year journey through Capricorn, that will come every year during Aries time (and Libra time but that will have a different vibration to the work). You would want to pace your Self and set some clear long-term goals for transforming your identity and thus, your contribution. Honor the opportunities as they are presented especially the ones which give you a chance to improvise and test your reflexes. This is new territory and new responses are required. Consider this a *testing* time and be very wary of repeating mistakes. If you continue to respond in the same-old ways, then you can expect to be tested over and over on the same material until you pass (respond to same stimuli with a new response). Passing this test each year requires you to evolve in some tangible way and break very deeply ingrained patterns that block the full expression of your unique Self. This time entails making *new* choices when faced with the on-going process of being an individual (Sun/Aries) within a global and ever-expanding family (Pluto/Capricorn).

Initiate *3* High Moons ~

The *3* High Moons refer to the Lunations which usher in the Spring Festivals each year as life is renewed. They are the following: Aries New/Libra Full Moon, Taurus New/Scorpio Full Moon and Gemini New/Sagittarius Full Moon. There are many cultures and belief systems that refer to these Full Moons which *AWAKEN* the life force energy (Aries/Libra), the Christ nature of unconditional love and acceptance, then the Buddha nature of compassion and forgiveness (Taurus/Scorpio), and finally, wisdom and understanding comes (Gemini/Sagittarius) every year, activating every lifeform's genetic code on a cellular level reminding them of the annual opportunity to seed and renew *LIFE*.

StarPriestess.com's Allison Rae describes the Festivals we celebrate during the Spring Equinox ~ Sacred Season every year. She says, "This is the first of the three great spring lunar festivals. Arriving just after the Equinox point, this Full Moon represents balance, culmination and renewal. The Festival of Easter or Festival of the Christ (Libra/Aries) celebrates the advent of Christ Consciousness on Earth and relates to the resurrection and ascension of the soul. Wesak Festival or Festival of the Buddha (Scorpio/Taurus) celebrates the birth, death and enlightenment of the Buddha and serves as a focal point for the seeding of spiritual enlightenment on Earth. During the Full Moon Festival of Humanity (Sagittarius/Gemini), the energies received through the previous two lunar gateways are disseminated into the Earth grid through the hearts of planetary servers."

I highly recommend consciously working with the *3* Lunations of this Sacred Season: Spring Equinox ~thru~ Summer Solstice as they will also prepare you for the Cancer/Capricorn Eclipses of June/July. Keep in mind too that the Cross Quarters in between are intense and potent times to check in on your progress (Taurus/Scorpio). The mid-point of this Season is around May 1st and sometimes referred to as Beltane.

Vesta in Leo/Virgo ~ Sept 2009 - Sept 2010: Vesta usually spends about 2-months in a sign, and what should be a 4-5 month process through these two Signs is extended in to a one year process of making your own creative process *Sacred* again and healing your connection to Source. This protracted period in these two Signs has been perfecting *YOU*. Leo is the lesson of Self-Love and Virgo is the lesson of Trust, both of which need to be mastered before moving to Libra, when you start interacting with others. Vesta is the aspect of fire and sexuality which *Creates* ~ a most potent force to work with. It is Sacred and should be expressed with care and consideration. In this case, knowing who you are (Leo) and how Sacred that is ... and knowing that your on-going contribution is the daily practice of mindfulness and order (Virgo) and how Sacred that is ... to the *Health & Vitality* (we're back to Virgo and Leo respectively) of the whole.

Chiron in Aquarius ~ 2005-2010: This is a time when people need to heal their connection to the earth and be more grounded and balanced. Until they do, they will struggle to manifest their ideals. In the 3-D, Higher Consciousness needs a structure or vehicle of expression otherwise, what good is it? We need this consciousness to be practically applied in the 3-D world.

Chiron in Pisces ~ 2010-2018: This is a time when people need to heal their sensitivity. Sensitivity is a GIFT, however, it is a mixed blessing. Being so sensitive can also make you feel the need to protect your Self, and in piling on whatever layers of protection you think you need, you LOSE TOUCH with your ability to "sense" things around you. Body - Buildings - Energy Fields - whatever you 'surround' your Self with as 'protection', when excessive or imbalanced, can block necessary, incoming energy and information. Until you find a balance and understanding of WHAT you are sensing, you will struggle to connect to God/Spirit/Oneness/BLISS (that is essential to your nature).

For the Collective ... during this 5+ year period of Chiron in Aquarius, we have come to realize that "either/or" serves no one, all Spirit-all the time and you are no longer grounded / all reality-all the time and you are no longer *free*. We must get creative to accommodate the growing family of humanity. We have to heal the wounds of the past and honor them by allowing them to close (and you to move on) ... get to the work of co-creating a renewed global family.

For the Collective ... during the 8+ year period of Chiron in Pisces, we will recognize the value of intuition and the necessity of healthy boundaries. We must recognize that some of the wounds are collective, and what is the collective - but the whole of the individuals - so it stands to reason that if we facilitate our own individual healing and wholeness, that would automatically serve to create a collective healing. We must practice Higher Consciousness in our daily, mundane, 3-D world, making it practical and useful for the entire community. Use tools properly (3-D/Saturn), access Spirit (Consciousness/Uranus) regularly and honor all living beings (Justice/Jupiter).

Pluto Retrograde in Capricorn ~

Another reason it is so intense at this time is Pluto just went Retrograde (Apr 6 - Sept 13) for the next several months provoking a deep delving for all. This too is a blessing, however it appears in your life/reality. We know how Pluto is moving the collective along, but as an individual, you should tune in to this energy for a final purge and purification of anything you've neglected, suppressed or allowed to fester and grow toxic in the dark corners of your Being, your Heart and/or your Mind, for far too long. (Look to the Capricorn House(s) of your chart for the ultimate goal of the Pluto activation. This is in conjunction with the Aries, Libra and Cancer sectors of your chart as well.) Again, choosing to work consciously with the energy will make its journey through whatever part of your chart easier to take and more productive in the end. Pluto is just introducing you to how you will be pushed to "grow up" through this 16-year process.

It's time to pull in and assess how you handle personal and professional responsibility (Capricorn) and if you have heeded the signs to move in to *heart-centered* work, by any means necessary (then Pluto's power is a delicious help). If you have coasted on the backs of others, ignored your own Truth(s) and essentially avoided reality on any or many levels, then this will be a tough (but necessary) review and adjustment period.

Saturn Retrograde RE-Enters Virgo ~

This April-July, Saturn will complete its work through Virgo, that is, restructuring our daily lives on fundamental levels and creating new systems for living. This is your chance to tie up any loose ends that have to do with you the individual, your healing, your structure, your daily routine. You must anchor that prior to the next evolution, which is Saturn through Libra, when you will have no choice but to deal with other people and relationships of all kinds, on all levels (personal, social & collective).

Mercury Retrograde in Taurus ~

Mercury usually spends about 3 weeks in a Sign and Retrogrades 3-4 times per year, extending that stay. While Mercury Retrograde does seem to consistently coincide with technical and mechanical challenges, it is also a *prime* time to commune with nature, Great Spirit and your Higher Self. Mercury Retrogrades are times to review your ideas, perceptions and thought patterns, as well as how you are "processing" life in general. April/May brings 2 full months of Mercury in Taurus, the lesson of proper values and personal priorities. This suggests that we get to review our thinking for where it is/is not grounded and practical, while also reviewing ideas and concepts for their usefulness and innate beauty. This whole year is a major opportunity to anchor some creative ideas so they can manifest in 3-D, benefiting you and serving others.

Mercury Retrograde in Capricorn launched a review of the strategy and plan (Dec/Jan); Mercury Retrograde in Taurus will launch a review that cultivates that "strategy & plan" (Apr/May); which will lead to Mercury Retrograde in Virgo, which will perfect all the ideas and prepare them (and you) for "sharing" (Aug/Sept). Ultimately, we will end 2010, like we did 2009, with a Mercury Retrograde straddling the new year and this time it will be Earth/Fire (Capricorn/Sag), leading to a predominantly *FIRE* year.

Here are my thoughts:

~ 2009 was Air/Earth giving us the opportunity to review the ideas (Air) and test them out, experiment and improvise in real time (Earth) which should have yielded some useful information for guiding 2010.

~ 2010 is giving us the opportunity (to go willingly or get dragged) to apply all that we learned last year to working the ideas in the 3-D, also garnering additional useful information on what physically works and what doesn't.

~ 2011 brings in the *Fire* which can be potently creative or explosively destructive, your choice. Earth gives Fire a *container* ~ a purpose ~ a guide ... or it smothers it. Create your *container* this year (2010) ~ the vehicle that will carry your idea(s) forth in to manifestation. Cultivate a solid base this year, and next year (2011) you'll be able to take advantage of the fiery creativity that will be bubbling behind the scenes of each Mercury Retrograde (2011).

Use this April/May to infuse your thinking with practicality, simplify your personal process and (somehow) connect with the natural beauty within and around you. Every 6-7 years, Mercury Retrogrades through all ONE Element, this year is Earth, and the last time was 2003, so there is your frame of reference. Can you remember 2002 as experimental (Air/Earth similar to 2009) and 2003 as pushing your ideas in to manifestation (ready or not)? (All Earth similar to 2010)

ALL *3* Earth Signs Activated ~

I thought it was worth noting for April, Mercury Retrogrades through Taurus, Pluto Retrogrades through Capricorn, and Saturn (which is already Retrograde) RE-Enters Virgo for the last time in 28+ years. This is a time of MAJOR Review & Completion where our personal, social and collective concepts are concerned: the concept of values and resources (Taurus), structures and stability (Capricorn) and general physical health (Virgo) for humans on this planet (Earth). It's time to master the rhythms of nature (seasons) and deepen your understanding of time and space so you can create a better quality of life, not only for you, but restoring the balance will serve generations to come. Reconnect with your own body/physical vitality and reconnect with Mother Earth in ways that support and preserve life.
