*LIBRA* 2014 ~ Solar & Lunar Guidance

MONTHLY *SOLAR* GUIDANCE: As the Sun moves in to Libra, it activates the Annual Check-In with your Individual Balance & Personal Relationships. Are you healthy and are your relationships reciprocal? This is also the Annual *Harvest* ~ what have you created this year? What will sustain you going forward? What needs to be cleared away? On a personal level, Libra/Other yields the *harvest* of your Aries/Self-Work (on multiple levels) and is particularly potent for the *Cardinal* Family ... LIBRA *Initiation* ~ ARIES *Integration* ~ CANCER/ CAPRICORN *Test/Growth*. This is true every year for folks with this energy activated in their charts, because they fall at the Seasonal shift, but with the continued influx of energies from Pluto in Capricorn (2008-2024), Uranus in Aries (2010-2018) and North Node in Libra (Feb 2014-Nov 2015) ~ it makes the Social/Collective evolution very personal for one and all.

   

This month’s Libra/Aries energy supports the decisions & choices, which are a result of last month’s Virgo/Pisces work of “assessing your strengths & weaknesses” and:

~ Re-committing to balancing your soul-work with your daily work

~ Allowing the fragmented aspects of life to come into cohesive whole

~ Focusing on the little things that make the grand vision (of your life) work

~ What did you discover? What are the results of your assessments?

~ What will restore Libra-Balance within and around you?

~ What needs to be cleared/released for your Aries-Identity to go to the next level and complete your Individual mission by Spring 2015? Use the added support of the Seasonal shift to do your personal work. Change is happening anyway, and postponing choices & decisions will only create more labor & cost down the road. MONTHLY *LUNAR* GUIDANCE: Let me just say again, how organically the Divinations came together. Last month we had all Father Elements + one Mother and this month, we have all Brother Elements + one Sister! It seems we must first address our authority issues and then we can deal with our peer & partner issues. Post 2012, we are all re-learning how to relate, and now rather than just our own families or neighborhoods, we all live in a 'global community'. I once used the example of my Irish Catholic Nana, who had 10 kids in 12 years. When you have 1-2 kids, the rules & guidelines are such 'n such, then you have 3-4 kids the rules change, 5-6 kids they change again and to have this exponential growth in such a short period is essentially what we are experiencing with our global families. It's a LOT - on micro & macro levels. The Aries/Libra Eclipses (we are now at #3 of 6) are actually right on time to assist with course corrections, turning points & the crossroads of old & new patterns, when we must all make individual decisions, while taking into consideration the whole family& community.

 

Your frame of reference for gauging your own personal cycles & patterns are the years: 2004-06 and 1995-97. Fast-forward to now and consider: Oct 2013 ~ April 2014 ~ now, Oct 2014. Are you facing similar independence vs relationship issues? The idea is that cycles repeat, while YOU and the energetic support around you, changes. So every 9-10 years (which in & of itself is a complete cycle) we get a chance to address these particular aspects of life. We go through changes for about 3-years (a typical Eclipse Season) and then things settle into a natural rhythm. Hopefully, as you get to know your Self better, you make better choices & decisions at each go-round. Now, it is just time to *Spiral UP* to your Next Level of your basic Fundamentals in Life: Home vs Work and Self vs Other. We are all 4 - we need all 4 - and when all 4 are balanced & integrated, the rest of Life flows in beautiful, unique ways & stabilizes all.

 

The above is the big picture/general overview, now come back in to Individual/Here & Now Mode - this month brings the Aries Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse (10/8) which is where the current self-work is. We are going to 'break to realign' our personal patterns around desire & purpose to the tune of 10 and 20 years. (Think in 5-yr increments if you have to because those would've been active periods with lots of clues.) But first ...

   

The Libra New Moon (9/24) brings in another round of the Cardinal Cross, pushing us to make personal/internal connections, as well as universal/external decisions. This reminds us that, anytime the Moon is in Aries/Libra or Cancer/Capricorn, it is directly engaging Pluto (Capricorn), North Node  (Libra) & Uranus (Aries) automatically. This happens for a couple of days, 3-times a month, but when New/Full Moon falls in these Signs we have greater access to co-creating and weaving in our individual desires. Then you add the current Aries/Libra Eclipses to the equation and change is definitely the name of the game. The last time we experienced Aries/Libra Eclipses was with an Aries North Node in 2004-2006 and before that, 1995-1997, with a Libra North Node (coming full circle again Feb 2014 - Nov 2015). Since we are finishing up the Scorpio/Taurus Eclipses (on 10/23), which activated a new level of power to create and sustain life, we are learning more and more about this new level of power. That, along with your individual changes, is likely to rattle the cages of your current relationships (private or public) by reflecting what is no longer sustainable, nor desirable.  

 

Libra New Moon is all about setting new intentions around conscious equal partnership, whether public or private, short-term or long-term, balance is the key. Our Guidance suggests that to honor the month of The Scales, we must weigh our personal progress against our obvious manifestations in relationships (for better or worse). It's time to assess the strength & value of each one (one-by-one) and what kind of time, energy & resources you have and are willing to invest further with this person, situation or agreement. Soulful kinship and a sense of belonging is vital for most humans and this year, we will cultivate that more than ever. We can renegotiate as we go, at regular intervals. We can be part of something without being burdened by it. We can have soulful connections without losing ourselves. We can still love each other even if/when we do not agree. It's time to define your individual terms and start renegotiating with those who matter.

 

The Capricorn First Qtr Moon (10/1) brings the focus to how well your Internal Reality 'matches' your External Reality and vice versa. The more OUT of alignment they are, the more challenging and intense this month will be. The more IN alignment they are, then more options become available. It's time to release the non-essential and focus on your true goals. The First Qtr Moon always brings some action and if you have done all the work up to now, Capricorn will reward you with the energy and stamina to ground something crucial to your foundation. As you get more rhythm in your new identity, your home base, foundation and personal structure has to adjust to support you at this new level too.

 

The Guidance speaks to simple, yet potent steps you can take at this time to stabilize your foundation. You have cultivated endurance and persevered through monumental clearings, all of which indicates you are ready to start taking more responsibility for your Self and the condition of your life. There's no more postponing decisions or avoiding due diligence and some things may take longer, but they'll also last longer too!

 

The Aries Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse (10/8) is driving home the message that an aspect of Self must be released, and with gratitude because it has served you well for 10-20 years. You have since evolved and certain things just don't 'fit' the way they used to. This is an unprecedented opportunity to release darkness (anger, bitterness, regrets, fear etc) from the depths of your Being. These are energetic blockages buried deep in the subconscious realms that undermine your goals and dreams in the conscious realms. The energy of the Eclipse can facilitate the perfect 'break to realign' (customized for each individual). It is your sense of Self that is being activated (and upgraded), so naturally, it is revealing all the ways you are no longer that Old "Self". There is nothing to "do" really, except stay focused on the Light, count your blessings and clear space for the New YOU (literally and figuratively) to come up & out to play!

 

We are actually finishing the Scorpio/Taurus Eclipse season, so keep in mind we are stepping into new power and creating a new garden that supplies and supports all that nourishes us, in this new realm, at this new level of consciousness. It's all NEW! Pace yourself as you learn about power in a whole new way. Things we've only dreamed about or thought to be "magical" are becoming a daily occurrence.Recognize how instantly your thoughts manifest. Strengthen the positive thoughts/visions and make any corrections to the negative ones immediately, lest you create more clean-up than is necessary. That said, for all the "new power" we are learning about, this week's Aries Full Moon Lunar Eclipse (in addition to Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio/Libra) is about releasing all that is no longer part of your identity, who you are or what you want in both your personal/intimate relationships, as well as your public/family/community relationships. You will not be able to stay the same old person you were and use the new power effectively. In addition to that, you will not be able to relate to others (Libra) the same old ways either. There is potency in coming together with others (now/this quarter/Sept-Dec 2014) and the cleaner the connection, the better the ultimate creation.

 

Let's consciously use the interruption in the electro-magnetic field that Eclipses afford us to "reboot" how our internal and external systems work, communicate and actually serve our intentions. This is an alignment of the Earth, Sun & Moon, the three entities that most influence our daily rhythm and Earthly existence. This "interruption" is completely NATURAL and happens on a regular basis, every 6-months, so there is nothing to fear. Mercury Retro (10/4 - 10/25) can also help you recognize how your thinking and perceptions influence your choices. In Scorpio, it gives you a chance for a deep purification (of your subconscious mind); and in Libra, it gives you a chance to recalibrate balance within and reciprocity with others. It is truly time to surrender the past, the old & the outdated, in our thinking as well as our actions. Stay present and alert, but also relaxed, so you can better allow your Heart to follow the Universe's lead!

 

The Cancer Last Qtr Moon (10/15) is going to show us where we'd rather "lose a limb" than "let go" but ultimately, "let go" we must. Emotions are running high, security issues are UP, no doubt, but a primary question this week/month remains:  What *feeds* you? On all levels, you take in fuel/nutrient, and you use that in all that you do, create and share with the world. What is your primary source of fuel/nutrient? Cancer energy reminds that you need only process the actual *nutrient*, and you are encouraged to release the *waste*, with some "regularity". It never "ends" as it is a natural process of being alive, we process what we can & release the rest. (Holding onto too much or too long, can become toxic to your system.)

 

Also 'in the air' is support for finding your Soul family or tribe, that circle of human support that honors your individual light and unique spirit. We can create NEW terms & definitions of 'fulfillment & nourishment' going forward. No matter who you are, where you live or what your circumstance is, we are all experiencing a surge in feelings, emotions, intuitions and a deep inner knowing that is directly linked to the heart. We have to practice with our inner compass (heart) as well as develop our individual boundaries (aura), and all at this new earthly frequency, as well as new level of human awareness. If you have grounded your sense of Self & Self Worth, then attracting authentic support from others will come naturally. You have a solid foundation that you have cultivated over time that supports you now. Claim it! If you have not been able to ground this new sense of Self & Self Worth, then all of these energies & activations will help you clarify within, move things around without (around you) and make space for that new sense of Self to feel in to its new space, new levels, new borders & boundaries, new neighbors. Ease in.

 

Libra time (Sept-Oct) brings the annual *personal* report cards, according to some.  I feel like that isn't really until Scorpio but the theory is that we do all our personal/individual work Aries-thru-Virgo, and then we magnetize in Libra/Scorpio/Sag, the people & outer support that matches the inner work we've done, so that with Capricorn/Aquarius/Pisces, we can play in the world and make our unique contributions. No matter how you look at it, Libra time (Oct/Nov) is always about establishing *balance* between our inner & outer selves, personal work & community work and self & other. Who are you and what do you want within the context of your primary relationships? The 'old way' is not supported, but being the New You and relating to others in New Ways IS supported! Just practice ; -) there is no perfection!

Scorpio Full Moon ~ Final Mission Before Re-Entry

Today's Buddha Moon (5/14) brings us to the final phase of our Spring Eclipse season. We have spent the last year or so moving through Taurus/Scorpio lessons, and now Aries/Libra lessons are being ushered in. Hopefully, we will begin to see/experience more of the collaborative spirit that Nature teaches, that all works together for good, and that dominance/oppression is destructive & unsustainable.

   

It has been my theory that, as we integrate new power, channel our resources in new ways and honor nature (Taurus/Scorpio) post-2012, we must learn to express ourselves (Aries) and relate in new, more effective ways with others (Libra). We had all (but one) New Moons with Taurus/Scorpio, indicating the new patterns & pathways being activated, while all 6 Aries/Libra Eclipses will be Full Moons, indicating patterns which are ready to be upgraded or released and pathways that have hit a dead-end of sorts.

 

If you are able to take the next 2-4 weeks to mine your Soul for your very own treasure, the following lunation in Gemini/Sag will give you time to process and assimilate what you discover and develop throughout this Underworld journey.

 

I am likening this Eclipse season to a trip in to Deep Space. It feels like we're navigating a completely different realm than ever before. This Scorpio Full Moon will reveal many things and connect you to your own Soul's desires, as well as fears, catalyzing the deepest of all surrenders. Some aspect of life has truly died, but only in the way that it creates space & nutrient for new life to take root. As Mars goes Direct (5/19) and Sun moves in to Gemini (5/20) a process begins that I liken to "re-entry in to Earth's atmosphere". It's tricky, dangerous but most of the time, ultimately, successful. My point is, there is a "process" to coming back down to Earth (after 'portals & choices & crossroads - oh my!), whereby you must release anything sticking to your suit (aura) or vehicle (body) and a certain decompression (so you can breathe again) must happen. Try to allow your Self some time for this process over the next 2-4 weeks.

  

Then, Cancer time (June/July) will usher in Jupiter's final blessings, rewarding you with the nourishment & protection of your NEW *Home*. Home that you find in your own Center (heart), as well as home on the New Earth which operates at a higher frequency than humans have ever lived for. It's important to take that time to put down some roots around whatever feeds & supports you best, stabilize your Self (home base) before jumping in to Leo playtime (with others).

 

But before we get too far ahead of ourselves, today's Scorpio Full Moon, though part of the larger story, is also an annual completion. It gives you a chance to release or compost whatever has outgrown its natural lifespan. Take some time to *cleanse & purify* your system of all that has been repressed, suppressed and pushed to the farthest and deepest realms of your life and consciousness. Use the energy to release waste, debris & the nonessential and the light of the Full Moon to bathe yourself with new life, vitality & power.

*TAURUS* 2014 Solar/Lunar Guidance

MONTHLY *SOLAR* GUIDANCE: As the Sun moves in to Taurus, it is time to see what new forms are worth strengthening & cultivating for the year. When you plant seeds, you never know which will take root, but now you should see some promise around some of the intentions you set for 2014. Our ongoing mantra these days is: Is it worth it? The general energies are intense and transformative and this month, things may get literal. Taurus gets us present to our creature comforts and basic security needs like food, sex & money.  This is an *Annual* Activation for everyone, but for the *Fixed* Family, it can be a little more intense & personal ... Taurus *Initiation* ~ Scorpio *Integration* ~ Leo/Aquarius *Test/Growth*.     

Taurus also represents the Gate of Power, the Mid-Point between Spring & Summer. This is a Infinitely potent time ~ "in between" ~ a place, also referred to as the "Sweet Spot" - that very thin membrane between *SEED* and *NEW* Life ... between *Spring* Equinox (seed) and *Summer* Solstice (new life). It reminds us of the beauty and sustenance Mother Earth has always provided, not just for humans, but for all life on this planet.

    

It is time to tune in, harmonize and synchronize your rhythm with Nature's rhythm. Just like we invite the Invisible Assistance & Ancestors during the November Scorpio Gate of Power which honors Death (in the Life/Death/Life Cycle), we now honor renewed Life, and can now invite the Elementals, Nature Spirits, Devas and the Plant Kingdom in to conscious collaboration, honoring their teachings and sacrifices made to assist, feed and support life on this Planet in ways humans may not always be aware or capable of.

   

This is a time to celebrate fertility, abundance and our relationship to Mother. It is a time to celebrate all that you have created and contributed to, while mindfully preserving *Life* along the way. Ritual, dance, drumming, toning and/or chanting are always used in celebrations of Earth and her bounty, as is wearing or surrounding your Self with *Green* ~ the color of Life/Love ~ and the Heart Chakra.

  

Finally, lending weight to the energies this go-round is Juno in Taurus. Juno takes about 4-years to move through the zodiac, so the last time it was in Taurus was March/April 2010. Again, my Fixed Babies may feel this one a little more strongly than most, but certainly we can all take advantage of her added energy. As we cultivate the Garden, Juno reminds us that we are IN PARTNERSHIP with Mother Earth, and this is a reminder to deepen our dedication to living in more balanced, natural ways. As we finish up the Taurus/Scorpio Eclipses, we have this additional support to commit to LIFE. Patriarchal dominance is a death-oriented system that is unsustainable. Life is created by both the Sacred Masculine & the Sacred Feminine, one or the other cannot create alone, and neither can we.

 

It is time to be grateful for the advances of technology, while still honoring that Nature takes time to cultivate and fully develop Life before it is ripe for the sharing. We must slow down and allow natural processes their time to fully develop otherwise, we miss the sweetness & nutrient. There is much energy for change, which can be chaotic and unsettling, however, you should already be aware of the core issues for you/yours so use this month's energy tune in to any internal 'famine' and know that all you need, desire & deserve is already here. All you need to do is align with it and create space for it in your life. Miracles abound!

 

Even the Divinations guide us toward an understanding of 'As above, so below' ~ that we ARE the bridge between Heaven & Earth; that we are Spirits having a Human experience and we spend most of our lives just coming to terms with the limitations of our earthly bodies ; -) and Taurus time invites us to experience the pleasure & sustenance Mother provides and give deep gratitude for such bounty! The body, like fruit & flowers, has a natural lifespan that is not long by any measure so enjoy the time you have, bask in the present moment, for it truly is a gift.

This week is even more potent and telling! I've mentioned that we have a 'double dose of Sacred Feminine energy to a single dose of Sacred Masculine' and for the guidance this month, I pulled all four Sisters + one Brother! More importantly, Earth Brother & Earth Sister are the only two "mortals" in this version of the tarot, which too, is speaking directly to each of us and our humanity. It is time to fulfill our potential and rise to the next level in every way. That said, we are still talking 'fundamentals' and the basics of life and living on this planet. So don't be overwhelmed, instead, SIMPLIFY, PRIORITIZE & RE-DISTRIBUTE YOUR ENERGY & RESOURCES. The Aquarius Last Qtr Moon (4/22) may be challenging you to own your Truth in a completely new way because the old Truth no longer applies. You may have grown accustomed to certain habits, where your food, sex & money are concerned, that will no longer work or support you. This tests you to release the old way and be radically different. The catch is to stay centered in your *HEART* (Leo) as you commit to change and let go of an old way of living your life. What's Truth for you NOW?

  

This leads to the Taurus New Moon/Solar Eclipse (4/29) which is a very powerful Eclipse for all! It is time to set your intentions for the most beautiful, abundant *Garden* your imagination can dream up ~ Right Now! It's time to set your intentions for how you want to live - physically - literally - in your body. How is your physical reality? How equally do you distribute your resources of time, energy & money? Do you find yourself at "zero" on one or all of these (time, energy, money)? How often do you live at "zero"? How often do you experience "full" (plenty-full-satisfied)? When do you experience balance in your physical life, when you get enough rest, play, work & silence?

     

Taurus is always about enjoying the natural, physical life of living on Earth ~ all senses are engaged and deeply valued for each gift they bring to your individual experience. Your senses, like your heart, communicates directly 'from you - to you' and no translator is necessary. A lot of our world forces us to dull our senses because the way we're living is so unnatural that our bodies literally rebel. The last year and a half has been a "rewiring" process of revealing the decay and what is no longer sustainable, and now, with the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Taurus, we can initiate completely NEW ways of living physical life. More focus on the abundance and sustainability ~ more integration and practice of true balance, within and without - more conscious awareness of 'price vs. cost' to our Souls as well as to the environment - more gratitude - more beauty - more lifeforms living in true harmony.

    

This Taurus/Scorpio eclipse series is almost over, this is the final Taurus New Moon and we have the final Scorpio New Moon in October when we will also realign our true power & a renewed discipline that deeply respects and reveres Nature herself as the Source of our supply. For over a year now, how we physically live on Earth and how we utilize Mother's many natural resources has completed a 20-yr cycle, which is naturally part of a couple of much larger cycles. There has been a bit of the 'gorge theory of pleasure' but that is unsustainable. The current rewiring, post-2012, is bringing the Sacred Feminine back in to conscious equal partnership with the Sacred Masculine, which promotes & sustains LIFE! One without the other does not work, for us or the planet. As we practice individual balance and internal harmony, we will start to see that Mother's abundance & security surrounds us, now & always. What physical reality would bring you the most physical pleasure & personal security? What is NATURAL for you personally? What are you ready to invest in?

 

The Leo First Qtr Moon (5/6) actually falls on the Taurus Gate of Power, so this is a potent day and week for initiating new Heart-Centered ways of living your physical, daily life. Where is the Heart in your life, that undeniable passion that sparks you from within? Where is the love in your life? How often do you laugh and play and just relax with friends? All this needs to be integrated in to your life on a regular basis, you may have been in a famine for way too long (many have). Use this Sacred week to connect to your own wealth, count your blessings and look for solid ways to expand that wealth in some kind of way. Check in with your magnetics, what are you attracting? what are you repelling?

     

This is the Mid-Point between Spring & Summer and it is a prime opportunity to access balance and equilibrium prior to the extremes associated with the coming season. You have 6-wks to rectify accounts and clear space for the bounty coming your way. You have done a LOT of literal and spiritual work over the last 2-5 years and this is a growth & development kind of time. Even if you are overwhelmed, you have to have some idea of how you'd like to live differently. Say a prayer inviting your Higher Self and your personal Guides (of which you have many assigned to you from birth) to clear the path for you so you can make the best choices for YOU! Ask them to align you with the energy and the resources to stabilize your life. You are deeply supported to do all this in a NEW way.

 

The Scorpio Full Moon (5/14) is powerful release time! We are literally coming to the end of a 2-month eclipse *Portal* and life will never be the same again. This is the week we completely release the past and compost all the death & negativity we've witnessed or experienced in the last several years. We have learned and lived SO much in the last 2-5 years, as well as the last 10 & 20 years, as we crossed over 2012. We are in such new territory that the only things you can take with you now are internal, on a Soul level - that's your power and your wealth now. It's time to conceive the new, then the Gemini lunation will explore the possibilities, while the Cancer lunation will figure out what truly feeds, sustains & protects you, and then the Leo lunation will test you further on the very things coming up for you NOW.

     

If you haven't conversed with your Soul in a while, now is the time to get reconnected. That connection is NEVER lost, but only needs regular fortification to serve you well. The guidance further supports this notion of the inner connection that creates the outer reality: "The Water Sister represents the power of the emotions and the unconscious/subconscious to give sustenance to idea. Since she is born from the unification of her father and mother, Fire and Water (the superconscious and the subconscious), she symbolizes the process of creation; the beginning of imagination on the physical plane."

Venus & Your Magnetics ~ Venus rules everything we truly care about and how we go about creating or acquiring it. Among other things, it rules love, art and beauty, all things that can be physical but the feeling they give us when we experience them is subtle, magnetic energy that draws us in and speaks directly to the heart. The heart is the only electro-magnetic organ in our bodies and directly links us to both the inner core as well as and the outer field which surrounds & protects Earth. When Earth or its atmosphere are zapped with intense energy, we definitely feel it too because we are eternally connected. The communication of the heart is feeling and we are getting a crash course in how to *feel* with all the Water energy swirling at this time. Venus can help you, on a personal level, understand magnetics in a whole new way which will ultimately support you in co-creating a life based on what is most vital to your life and true to your heart. We are not creating the old way we used to, now it is much more about creating an inviting space and magnetizing IN the heart's desire.
  
Venus & Its Dual Nature ~ It rules both earthy Taurus and breezy Libra. Taurus asks, "what is it worth?" and Libra asks, "where is the balance & harmony for all involved?" You can see how we swing from literal, material value to perceived value according to an individual's preferences and priorities. When Venus is expressing Taurus values, it is all about the physical experience of beauty, while with Libra it is all about the essence. Either way, in your chart, Venus rules what you are magnetized to and what you are repelled by.
 
Venus Cycles - Past/Future ~ If we track the last few Venus cycles, one way to look at it is that we got a completely new identity activated when Venus Retrograded through *ARIES* (2009-2010) which was followed by cultivating new values & priorities, based on this "new identity" which opened up access to our innate power to co-create our lives. As Venus Retrograded through *SCORPIO* (2010-2011), we got to cleanse & clear any deeply buried karmic debris blocking full expression of clean, authentic power and true self-worth. As Venus Retrograded through *GEMINI* (2012), we got to explore the infinite ways we can express ourselves at this new level of consciousness and release out-dated thinking and obsolete processes. Now, theoretically, we can put a brand new structure in place with the current Retro through *CAPRICORN* (2013-2014). The focus will shift to actually making decisions and creating fundamental stability, as well as personal security, based on the new values & priorities. Venus Retrogrades every 18-months or so, which means that our *Values & Priorities* shift on a fairly regular basis. Getting a rhythm to this, internally, will help you flow with your own personal evolution with far less fear or anxiety and much more trust in the natural order of things, which includes these natural changes. If we anchor the fundamentals in a secure way, then the next Venus Cycle thru *LEO* (2015) will be our final exam on working with magnetics for sure, with both rewards and revelations!
  
Venus in Capricorn ~ Consider this 4 month period (Nov 2013 - March 2014) a literal and figurative UPGRADE to the structure or foundation of your life. You are responsible for creating, maintaining and sustaining your own life. Essentially, it is time to own your Inner Authority and innate ability to run your own life (Capricorn), and Venus Retro brings the necessary review of values & priorities (Venus) where your personal emotional & physical safety & security are all concerned. What is most important to you around these fundamentals, here & now today? How you make decisions and define security has likely shifted dramatically since 2005-2006, and will shift again by 2021-22 (next Venus Retro in Capricorn). The Retrograde period should afford you time for the *Review*. Review your rules & responsibilities, do some clearing & releasing and prepare the way for new rules, new responsibilities and new projects to have a place to exist and evolve. Retrogrades are always good for research, revisions & resolutions. Does what you have been dedicated to, building and maintaining, actually reflect your deepest, core values? Do you spend your resources of time, energy & money on memories or materials? Education or elitism? Progress or postponement?

    

This Venus work is going to be very personal for those with Capricorn/Cancer and Aries/Libra activated in their charts. Things that were important to you 8-years ago are probably not so vital now, and things that were not even on your list of priorities may have moved to the top. In this case, Capricorn means the structure of your life and the reality you're currently living has evolved over the last 8-years and adjustments to your responsibilities, commitments and decision-making skills should reflect the *upgrade*. Taking a time-out to review your own reality, how it works, what it grounds or anchors in physical form and how it serves you (or not) ~ that is what this Retrograde will likely bring to the foreground. Capricorn energy always reveals where you are rigid, dry & unstable. Happy Re-Birthday to all, and especially Aries folks! For many people (past the age of 25), birthdays come with a mixture of hope for the new and stress over the old, what's done (or not done) by now. We all experience some degree of "review" during birthday time. So - good news first - those who are craving a clean slate / fresh start - THIS is your chance!! Bad news is - it will not be an 'easy' new start, except maybe for those of you who love a challenge and thrive on overcoming obstacles.

This month of Aries, as I do every year, I give you PERMISSION TO BE SELFISH!! One month is no time to assess and plan for one year (and beyond). This month you should be focused on YOU! Your needs, your desires and what you deserve in exchange for the energy you share in your personal and professional life. Exchange, flow, reciprocity are all mandatory but the only way to ensure that energy flows freely is to remove all the blockages within. Mars and Pluto are working diligently, over a very long period of time, to ensure a permanent shift in your perception of need vs. desire.

FAITH ~ RISK ~ COURAGE ... *NOW*

~ FAITH ~ that you ARE in the right place, at the right time, with the right people for the lesson and the blessing. Faith in your Self, your Truth, your abilities, and your contribution as worthy and necessary. Faith that God is the Infinite Source of your supply and you already possess all that you need to maintain your life.

~ RISK ~ a willingness to risk investing in your own potential ~ for your own sense of accomplishment ~ for your own forward movement ~ to make progress in your own life. It seems that we are all willing to take incredible risks on behalf of people or entities which, in my humble opinion, are hardly worth it (in this context), not to mention the fact that these very same people and entities would NEVER risk (to any degree) for YOU! Remember, never allow someone else to be your PRIORITY ... if you are only their OPTION!

~ COURAGE ~ to face your fears and do it anyway, which is TOTALLY supported, even encouraged by Mars/Aries energy by the way. Courage of your convictions - to stand up for what you believe in even if no one close by agrees with you. Right or wrong in the end, when you are courageous enough to go after what you want, stand up for what you believe in, do what others are afraid to even try and/or take a step in the direction of your goals, you earn self-respect as well as the respect of others.

So this month, there are a couple of things to keep in mind while you go about organizing your life for spring renewal / re-birthday / and all these initiation energies (among others). This Season in particular, the transformation (Pluto) of your values & relationships (Venus), the expansion (Jupiter) of who you are and your core drives (Sun), and expressing your thoughts (Mercury), your deepest desires (Mars) and emotions (Cancer) are all giving you an opportunity for a breakthrough!

Squares in astrology are usually described as "hard angles" that the planets make to each other, so while it will likely be stressful in the moment, please keep somewhere in the back of your mind, as you move through this month and interact with others, that the whole point of any challenge(s) or blockage(s) which do pop up, are only to help you facilitate some very necessary (and long overdue) change(s). They are also giving you a palpable opportunity for ULTIMATE MASTERY of Self, for finally 'getting' the lesson so you can move on to other things.

It is advisable to be 'courageous' and 'faithful' and take a risk in choosing a new response, which will in fact elicit a new result. Stability and healing are the ultimate goal of the current energies and change is good!

*SCORPIO* time reminds us to ... "be ever-mindful of the cues the Universe is giving you."

Now that we are entering Scorpio time, in addition to several very rare planetary alignments, more than ever we are being called to believe in that which we cannot see. The "cues from the Universe" are increasing with the current Scorpio energy of karma and creation.

If you tune in, which is simply the act of being still and quiet, you will receive guidance you may not have ever realized was available to you. This is the time of year when the veil is thinnest between the visible and invisible worlds. The Scorpio/Taurus polarity is the personification of this principle. All seeds germinate in the darkness - under the surface (Scorpio) before they break through that real or perceived top layer of "soil" to manifest and blossom in the physical realm (Taurus) of your current reality. This is the time of year when you have ready access to ancestral (and astral) help. I have said for some time now, that due to the unprecedented planetary shifts, we can no longer rely on "human help" as we may like to, or have historically done. Invisible help is much more readily available and even more effective. This month, call on your angels, ancestors and guides as they are waiting only for your invitation. They cannot help if you do not ask or invite their assistance.

You will encounter more endings this month as your Path is cleared for the new energy to more fully exist in your daily reality. (Your old reality cannot support nor sustain this powerful new energy coming in.)

·You may notice things that used to work, no longer work for you
·You may notice people leaving your Path (for a myriad of reasons) who may or may not ever return
·You may notice you are being forced to face and actually deal with some very dark, repressed parts of your Soul
·You may notice your new Path solidifying as the old Path dissolves behind you
·You may notice initial fear, which will force you to surrender to the process (which is unfolding whether you think you are ready or not)

You will find that if you do NOT surrender, your Path will be that much more challenging and dark. Do not for one moment allow this blanket of darkness hold you hostage, that is not the point of this energy. The point of this energy is to allow the natural process of creation to occur. You can plant the seeds, you can nurture the seeds, but you cannot force or hasten them to grow. Everything develops in due course (and in Divine Time and Order). But always remember that if you do not plant the seeds and if you do not nurture them, then you can GUARANTEE they will not grow. So on faith, you must do your part in the co-creation of this reality, you must be consistent, patient and above all you must plant these seeds with an unwavering KNOWING that they will explode in to reality one day very soon.

This is the time of year you are reminded of your innate power to create your life, on every level. Your thoughts, words, and deeds will manifest with lightning speed and it is your CHOICE whether to surrender to the darkness or to the Light. In every moment, we choose how we are going to respond to whatever person, energy or circumstance is before us. It requires a tremendous amount of personal responsibility to face both the blessings and the challenges of your chosen path. And that is what time it is - time to inhale back your own authority to make decisions for your own life; to assume total responsibility for the choices you have made thus far; to own the responsibility of shifting your personal direction (if need be); as well as assuming total responsibility for faithfully staying the course which resonates most deeply within YOUR Soul.

So often we humans are gifted at holding on to all the negative people and circumstances. This is an opportunity for you to acknowledge ALL THE BLESSINGS you have attracted, manifested and created from your positive thoughts, words and deeds. It is a powerful affirmation to recognize and honor that goal which you set some time ago and now are clearly amidst its manifestation. YOU DID THAT!! You brought it in to existence. That is a powerful gift you can give your Self that will create more momentum than you can imagine for further creating all that you need, desire and deserve. So as you are "clearing karmic debris" in order to plant more seeds of wonder, recognize the little blossoms which you have carefully cultivated and brought in to being. Honor the blessings you have attracted in to your life and environment, for they are many. And putting your thoughts on these blessings, focusing with powerful feeling & intention, will attract even more to come in to focus for you, broadening your vision.

This Scorpio time, more than any recent year, is about taking that GIANT STEP FORWARD ... in to the unknown! We are wrapping up another Venus Cycle, 2004 & 2012, a once-in-a-lifetime experience for everyone (it only happens every 140+ years), redefining our values and resources individually, socially and collectively. We are on the back-side of this cycle, where do you want to end up come 2012? You are the one who determines what the next leg of this journey is going to be like for yourself. This is your "clean slate" - your chance to really co-create your reality anew. Just do the work - seeds germinate in the darkness and sometimes you cannot actually, physically see the growth (and progress) but that does not mean it is not happening. You must still tend to your creation faithfully and when it does begin to sprout, nurture it to full development. It is your responsibility to nurture and protect what you create. Everyone is at different stages of this ... some of us are still gathering compost - really digging deep and clearing karmic debris; some of us have cleared our karmic debris and have started building; and yet others are directing their energy to sustain what they've created and which is thriving.

What is the next step in your current evolution?

This year, Venus (values/priorities) is Retrograding through Scorpio/Libra, indicating that we all need to review how we direct our power within relationships, what our motivations are for relating with others and what we are willing to commit to. The last time Venus Retrograded through Scorpio was 2002, which is worth reflecting on what *transformations* occurred since then, as well as any gifts suppressed since then. This month, we have a chance to plant the seeds of our heart's desire, especially with both Mars and Venus together throughout Libra and Scorpio, recalibrating Divine Masculine & Divine Feminine within and around us. This suggests to me that before we can truly CREATE (Scorpio) the relationships we deserve and express the truth of who we are, we need a review of what's most vital and important (Venus). Once you get things organized in your own mind and heart: who you are, what you have to offer, your own self-worth, your authentic voice ~ only then, can you create (Scorpio) and/or attract in (Venus) the passionate, reciprocal and balanced interactions you need, desire and deserve, both personally and professionally.

Remember that everything and everyone in your life is a reflection of you and you attracted it in, for better or worse. Do not focus on the negative, as much as acknowledge where you were not clear in your intention so you did not attract what you wanted. And yes, adjust accordingly, but focus primarily on the positive things, people and events you have attracted in for they will fortify you to deal with the rest. As humans, we are prone to holding on to and remembering the negative (pain is a heckuva motivator) but the truth is if you are not using that information to IMPROVE on your circumstance, then it is simply a distraction delaying truth and your good. It’s a new day, and it is time for you to connect to all the strength you can muster, all the good you are capable of, all the truth you can handle (and even some you don’t think you can), all the courage you possess and all the wisdom you have acquired thus far to navigate these choppy waters. You can do it, but you have to "be ever-mindful of the cues the Universe is giving you".

TIME
During 2010-2012, Saturn is moving through Libra, where it is considered *exalted*. This is a time to re-establish balance within the structure of your body, as well as the structure of your life. It's time to re-negotiate all relationships, partnerships and co-ops, to bring all agreements up to date. This only happens every 28-years, so this is definitely an opportunity to release all toxic interactions (and relationships) and blockages to balance in your life. Now, theoretically, when you change, everyone around you has to change - or go away. There is a path within that has been cleared and now you are better able to commune directly with your own heart, listening to its promptings and following it wherever it leads. If/when you're ready, you will be ready to invite love and abundance in, you have an opportunity to share the "new you" and create new and delicious new collaborations. Power Wishes should focus on magnetizing the people, community, love and abundance that will match your energy and level of consciousness.

Time to delve within your own heart as Venus, Libra's Ruler, asks:

• What is most important to you where your resources are concerned?
• Are you worthy of love and abundance?
• Are the people you are currently invested in worthy (those who get the lion's share of your personal resources of time, energy and often, money)?

RESOURCES
Remember, whatever you invest those precious resources in ~ is telling the Universe that it is what you value the most and what's most important to you. Are the people you have closest to you an accurate reflection of who you are? So often, we block ourselves from love, literally and/or emotionally. Sometimes consciously, owning your fear of commitment, fear of loss or fear of betrayal; sometimes unconsciously, sabotaging things as soon as there is any kind of conflict, real investment or compromise required.

Love and money, Venus' domain, seem to be front and center for many at this time. This is time to focus on how you manifested the relationships you are experiencing now, how worthy of further investment they are and what you are really willing to sacrifice and compromise on.
Are your current relationships: reciprocal? balanced? nourishing? loving? beautiful?

SCORPIO
And with Venus traveling through Scorpio, is it all worth it? where's the substance? where's the deeper connection(s)? Mars recently joined her in Scorpio, where lies, deceit and hypocrisy will not be tolerated provoking folks to ugly outbursts and confrontations, demanding truth. However, be sure if you are in that position (demanding truth from others) that you are prepared to accept the truth you receive.

Venus rules art, and art is one undeniable demonstration of our kinship. Art transcends language and communicates something directly to your Soul that needs no translation. Kinship means, "a close connection marked by community of interests or similarity in nature or character" - that applies to us as a human race and as a planet. From our households to our place in the solar system, we are all connected. However, Venus also rules sovereignty, and humans in general are simultaneously seeking a level of independence and a deep connection within, as well as within the context of our relationships, communities and countries. It is time to cultivate that sovereignty and kinship ourselves. A healthy Libra energy working in your life would facilitate balance ... balance and reciprocity in your relationships (personal and professional), balance in your approach to your health, and balance between the self vs. other dynamic.

As Venus preceded the Sun, passing through Libra, together they animate true kinship and remind us of our humanity and ability to attract all that we need, desire and deserve when it is done with unconditional love and contributes to the good of the whole. Twice a year (at least) we get to focus on the push-pull between individual needs and desires and the collective needs and desires. It is our obligation to exhaust every possibility to create win/win situations in all our interactions.

Because no man is an island, no one "does it/gets there" alone or all on their own, it is imperative that you live your life and set your goals in a way that, yes, absolutely serve your needs, but ALSO serve others in some way, shape or form. An example of something tangible, would be my R*Evolutions Datebook. I wanted a datebook that had all the info I think is relevant in one place, at a glance, and in words rather than symbols. Once I mentioned it to a few people, many agreed, that was something they would love to have as well. So now I have created something that serves my needs and others' needs as well, making it an automatic success.

An intangible example would be a common desire for a sense of belonging. Generally, that comes when one is surrounded with unconditional love and infinite beauty. I asked around, it seems others are looking for that same sense of belonging, a sense of community where everyone contributes joyfully to the success of the whole, where everyone is eager to support, uplift and exchange energy as well as resources with each other so that the whole group is exalted to a higher level of existence.

When you want anything in life, you have to broaden your scope and you have to BE what you want to ATTRACT. Libra wants peace, love, beauty, balance, justice and fairness. So you have to BE all that to bring it in to your 3D/realm of existence. You cannot "be" all that if you are drained from making sure everyone else is being or doing all of the above and you are not doing it for your Self. Libra energy tends to give and give and give, until they are empty without any reserves even, then their opposite, Aries anger kicks in, and they reveal the victim consciousness of the Libra energy. But that is not the highest expression of this energy. The highest expression comes when you INTEGRATE the Aries / Libra dynamic by accessing the courage to be an individual who considers all sides before making a move or decision and only does so when they have figured out the win/win possibilities.

The way of honoring (this energy)

is by making things beautiful.

Remembering that the opposite of

'aesthetic' is 'anesthetic'.

There is no solution to anything

unless Venus is involved -

SOLUTIONS are what we are trying to find and/or create. Venus and the Libra energy can help us in our quest. (Venus also rules Taurus, but that is where values and resources are concerned, among other things.) With Libra, it is more about the vital interrelatedness of all things, of cultivating reciprocal relationships and infusing everything you think, say and do with genuine beauty and boundless, unconditional love. Love and beauty cannot reside where all feeling and sensation have been numbed or disconnected from Source. We must commit to breathing new life back in to, first ourselves and our own households, then move out in to the community and cities across the world.

Your essential nature (Sun) and the purest, deepest part of you (Pluto) connect in a rhythm every year, four times a year for 16 years (2008-2024). As it reshapes you from the inside out, so too will the collective shapeshift.

These connections, which the planets make to each other, facilitate movement and necessary change. If you are ready, open and receptive, they ASSIST you in moving to the next level, creating tangible results and measurable progress. If you are not ready, narrow-minded and/or resistant to change, then yes, it is going to be more challenging ... but you'll be in new territory nonetheless.

The *Initiation* is *Winter* Solstice, when Sun/Pluto get together (conjunction) in Capricorn, increasing each other's power to purify you and your intentions for the coming new year. They advise, "First, you must rest, replenish, mature and gather strength (power)." *Spring* and *Fall* Equinox, when Sun/Pluto have to consciously work out their differences (square), and you are moved possibly out of your comfort zone, but in to new territory. *Summer* Solstice, when Sun/Pluto have to balance and integrate (opposition) all that you've initiated at Spring-time; it's a time of blossoming and expanding and you are moved to accommodate all that you've created in new, innovative ways.
