The focus of my work is Cycles, Patterns and Personal Rhythm. I enjoy helping people unlock the potential of their own unique blueprint (chart) and I am deeply passionate about supporting people as they explore & develop their own personal *Rhythm* (cycles).  Beyond that, I love when people start to master their rhythm and begin to dance with the Universal *Rhythm* more freely and effectively because they are stronger and more centered in their Authentic Self. In addition to assisting Individuals, I am also interested in holding *Sacred* Space for the Power Circle Community to explore these cycles together. My ultimate goal is to serve both the Individuals, who prefer private sessions and one-on-one guidance & support ~ as well as those who enjoy Group energy & the exponential support of others navigating the cycles and consciously co-creating too.
     
The following introduces the *As Above* (planets/cycles) we will explore and develop this year (2013) *So Below* (our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual reality) unfolds deliciously for one and all!  The schedule has already been altered because we are doing both the Mercury & Saturn calls in February, so it is but a loose guideline for the year and my *Intention* to cover these things with you.  Please *respond* to this mailing with your interest as Community (your) participation will largely determine this.  For any gathering I host, there must be a minimum of 10 people registering. Below is my quick, initial snap-shot of what we are likely to cover at those gatherings.  Consider this a *Sneak Peek* as well as an *Open Invitation* to join me and the growing Power Circle Community.
   

2013 Highlights

  
SUN ~ Annual Solar Cycle 2013 ~ every month the Sun changes Sign around the 20th of the month.  It is this time when you should consider getting your personal Monthly *Tools*.

MOON ~ Eclipses/Nodes 2013 ~ we will be dealing, primarily, with Scorpio/Taurus Eclipses, however, we still have one Sag Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse (5.25.2013) to complete the last couple of years of energy work ... while we will also get introduced to what's coming next with the Aries Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse (10.18.2013).  Keep in mind, Eclipse themes that *overlap* like this make the year (2013) extremely *transitional* and usually more intense as well.  These Eclipse Cycles coincide with the Lunar Nodes movement and this year we are dealing with a Scorpio North Node, while releasing imbalances around the Taurus South Node issues.

MERCURY ~ Retro ALL Water 2013 ~ every 5+ years, Mercury does its 3-4 Retrogrades in a year through ALL One Element. 2013 brings ALL Water, meaning our ideas, thoughts, perceptions, conceptions, as well as how we communicate & express ourselves, is going to be *Emotionally* Based and decidedly driven by our *Feeling* Nature.  For some, that will be a piece of cake, for others not-so-much. Either way, we will ALL learn more about Cancer, Scorpio & Pisces this year.

VENUS ~ 2nd Leg of Gemini *Journey & Process* 2012-2013 ~ Reclamation of Divine Feminine/Gemini in Preparation for Capricorn ~ This deserves a complete article to truly describe the energetic work we are doing with Venus this year.  But there are two points I want to make: (1) Venus in Capricorn Jan 8 - Feb 1, 2013 is the *preview* of the coming extended 4-month stay in Capricorn toward the end of this year (Nov 5 - Mar 5, 2014) and subsequent Retrograde: 12.21.2013/Direct: 1.31.2014.  And (2) Venus still has much work left with the Gemini *Theme* as she embarks on the second and final leg of that journey initiated April 2012.
    
As Venus goes to the Underworld (pause for the cause) mid-February, she has a couple of *KEY* Meetings with Sun/Moon/Mars/Uranus before Rising as the Evening Star in early-May 2013.  We should consider using this time to clarify the value of all the ideas, thoughts and concepts we have *released* over the last 9-12 months, and acknowledge that we've created *space* for NEW ideas, thoughts and concepts to infuse every Chakra with an Authentic Voice that expresses Self in a higher, more delicious Venusian way.  This work will anchor your NEW *Values & Priorities* so they support you going forward. Remember:  Sun (Identity/Source Energy) ~ Venus (Love/Beauty/Abundance) ~ Uranus (Awakening/Liberation) are linking up at 8* Aries on March 28, 2013.  Then Venus/Mars do *Sacred* Union on 4.6.2013 at 19* Aries.  These *behind the scenes* contacts (and where they fall in YOUR chart) will inform your Self-Work and Soul-Searching before the VERY DISTINCT shift of Venus' direction from *Release* to *Reclamation* kicks in to action.
    
MARS ~ 3rd Leg of Virgo *Journey & Process* 2011-2013 ~ Mars spent 8-months in Virgo (11/2011 - 7/2012) in what I've since dubbed the 8-month *investment* for a 16-month *return* and we are now at the *Mid-Point* of that 16-months as Mars moves through Pisces (2/1 - 3/12.2013).  It's a good time to review those materials and check to see if you are on-track.  Those most directly affected are my *Mutable* Babies:  Gemini/Sag and Virgo/Pisces.
      
JUPITER ~ 2nd Leg of Gemini *Journey & Process* 2012-2013 ~ The remaining Gemini work that Jupiter is doing will be:  (FIRE) with the final Sag Eclipse (5.25.2013) and Uranus in Aries ... (WATER) Chiron/Neptune/Pallas in Pisces ... (AIR) and Ceres/Vesta in Gemini lending Divine Feminine *Power* to the remainder of the Gemini Self-Work.  This indicates we will have to bring in our own Virgo energy of healing/assimilation to stabilize all this stirs up.
     
Jupiter is a 12-year cycle that moves in 3-year increments, so it hit Aries in 2010/Taurus in 2011/Gemini in 2012 ~ we return to Cardinal energy with Cancer in 2013 and thus engage Uranus in Aries, Pluto in Capricorn, which will leave us having to bring in the Libra energy of balance/fairness on our own but keep in mind that it will also *challenge* the *Truth/Story* you activated back in 2010 to truly (and physically/literally) EVOLVE in the coming year (2013-2014). 
  
SATURN ~ 1st Retro in Scorpio *Journey & Process* 2012-2015 ~ I did write an article detailing the work I propose we do which I will post very soon but for now, you should just know who Saturn will be working with during this 2+ year time.  Anytime the Personal Planets are in Taurus/Scorpio or Leo/Aquarius, you will feel it.  Beyond that, Saturn will connect with North Node around Fall Equinox (9.16.2013) and Venus will be there at the same time as she moves through Scorpio 9/11 - 10/7.2013. Saturn will be directly involved in several of the Eclipses and will work well with all the other Water energy this year: Jupiter in Cancer; Chiron/Neptune in Pisces and the Mercury Retrogrades all year.

Get Connected to Your Higher Self!

The human part of us tends to 'think' rather than 'feel' and thus creates the illusion - that we are NOT connected to every other living organism in the Universe. The Neptune part of us KNOWS we ARE! When you get back far enough, you can see just how inter-connected we are - Mother Earth and all Her creations!

This month your Neptune is awakened. It is best not to miss the opportunity to check in on your dreams and remember your connection to the whole. If you do not take time out to dream and visualize how you'd like your life to be, then you will be plagued with forgetfulness or spacey-ness or disappointments stemming from believing one thing and finding another to be true. (If you cannot afford to take time out to visualize and ground your intention, when are you going to have time to actually take the steps to making them happen?)

This is the month to re-member who you are and why you are here so that you may serve, share and fulfill your Infinite potential.

Prayer/Affirmation:
I am open and receptive to connecting to the deepest part of my soul; the place inside me that KNOWS who I am and why I am here.

When this energy is activated, we tend to attract mirror images of ourselves. Pay attention to who crosses your path this month. The Universe is trying to communicate with you.

And any time it comes in the form of others crossing your path, it is usually something very deep within that you cannot see in yourself. Very often, you will see things in others first, before you are able to recognize or articulate these things in you.

Prayer/Affirmation:
I will see myself in everyone who crosses my path and show them the love and respect I'd hope for.

Alternately, you may project your feelings onto others, while thinking that it is them, when really - it is always YOU!

Prayer/Affirmation:
I look honestly at my Self and my motivations behind every word and deed.

It is a good time to examine any deep emotions or feelings that have come to the surface recently. The two expressions of this will be an easy-going feeling or it can be a raging storm of emotions you've suppressed for too long.

Either way, they are demanding attention at this time. Some of us suppress our Truth because we're afraid of 'drowning' in it and others suppress it for fear of being 'carried away' with it - whatever your reasoning is, take some time for self-reflection to understand the root of these emotions and then attempt to find a healthy, positive way to allow them expression (ie, exercise, dancing, journaling, meditate, creative writing etc).

Prayer/Affirmation:
I honor my personal truth by giving it a voice - giving it expression and sharing it with others.

Another manifestation of this energy is seeing things through "rose-colored glasses"; seeing what you want to see instead of what actually is. It's very easy to get disillusioned in a way that will eventually teach the lesson of discernment. You must be very discerning as to who, when and how much to trust when this energy is activated.

I see clearly and am very discriminating in my choices.

The only way to find the limits of the possible
is by going beyond them ... to the impossible!

ReDefine Freedom!

The part of us that is ruled by Saturn, the planet that makes us very cautious and responsible, is the part of us that cuts off the creative impulse, which is the part of us that is ruled by Uranus. It is that pesky, inner dialogue (picked up along the way somewhere, because it's not natural) that tells you you'll never make it; you're not talented enough; not wealthy enough; not beautiful enough - basically convinces you that creativity is a bad thing, that can only lead to disappointment.

Prayer/Affirmation:
I am open and receptive to constructive and useful change in whichever area of my life most needs it.

If we refuse to take chances, expand our horizons and be uninhibited in the areas that are represented by the House Uranus resides in (for you personally), we will end up resenting those areas of our life. It's where we most often blame outside influences (people, jobs, circumstances) for our lack in limitation (in that area). Do you realize it takes 10 times more energy to resist change, than to actually just change??

Prayer/Affirmation:
I will no longer waste my energy on resistance, but use my energy to propel me to the next level.

On the other hand, you may be very outgoing and spontaneous in those areas which makes others uncomfortable and they react negatively. Either way, the lesson of change is taught.

Prayer/Affirmation:
I embrace and express the parts of my Self which are free to be Authentic, which in turn, gives others permission to embrace their Authenticity.

It is suggested that balance of both risk and responsibility would be optimal. This is the challenge Uranus brings to the House it rules (for you personally). It demands that we go beyond and expand the limits of our upbringing or circumstance. Just because the previous generation didn't have the opportunities that the present generation is afforded, doesn't mean that they still shouldn't take advantage of it.

Prayer/Affirmation:
I will not be denied my truth and purpose.

The other things that come up when this energy is stirring is the need for truth and freedom and a remarkable fear of being trapped. Some people live for change and cannot stand when their lives become stagnant (by their own definition). And others prefer a more predictable existence. On both counts, Uranus will give you an indication of your choice. If your belief works for you and serves your Higher good, then, by all means, LIVE AUTHENTICALLY!! Remember to respect each individual's right to the same and know that we all are part of this one human race and forever connected.

This is the month for bridging the gap between the visible reality and the invisible reality. Uranus rules electricity. Electricity is the invisible reality (the power) that creates the visible reality (the light). And so it is with the Universe. It is the invisible that creates the visible. We know electricity exists, we can see the tangible results of electricity even if we do not understand how it works, we know that it does work.

There are things at work within us which are creating our outer reality. And sometimes we are creating our reality based on (invisible) beliefs that are not actually our own, but acquired throughout life. As you grow older, your own experience determines your beliefs and most often, we do discover that the beliefs passed on to us do not coincide with our actual, personal reality.
~ What beliefs/habits have you picked up from your surroundings that are really and truly not yours?

We make choices based on our knowledge, understanding and experience at the time. Unfortunately, we can not always see far enough down the road to know if/when that particular choice is leading us in the wrong direction, until we're already there. Aquarius is all about seeing the big picture. Where Aquarius falls in your chart will be the area that you either are able or need to be able to see the big picture. You may be limiting your Self by clinging to habits which were passed on to you, rather than habits which actually serve your Highest good. And very often people will live their entire lives with secret desires in their hearts or private beliefs which they hold very strongly inside but never act upon in fear of upsetting the rhythm and flow of their current life. That is not living authentically. That makes you an easy target for being a pawn in someone else's drama.
~ Can you identify a difference between your core beliefs and the way you are actually living?

Use this month to access your Uranus, rebel-Self and break open that which you've been hiding or hiding behind.
~ How do you define freedom?

Uranus insists on being free of restraints of any kind. When you are living your truth, you are free.
~ Are you living your Truth?
~ Or are you living a life put forth by other people, circumstances or sheer habit?
~ Where do you want change to happen in your life?

One of the ways to know where you need change to happen in your life is the area that you feel restless or agitated about. Start there! Ask Uranus to assist in changing that aspect of your life. If you don't consciously work with Uranus, then Uranus will show up in your life where IT believes you need radical change and uproot you where you stand. In the end it will be a blessing, however, the road will be much more difficult and taxing. And let me tell you where Uranus will start, it will start in the area of your life that is most contradictory. So if you've been perpetuating some aspect of your Self that is not authentically you, Uranus is going to blast that part of you out of the water and demand that you align those two contradictory parts of your Self into something more congruent.
~ Where in your life are you incongruent?
~ Where in your life do you think one way and say or act in different way?

Uranus is not concerned with success or failure, and you shouldn't be either. The only thing that matters in this life is the energy you put forth and the effort you make. Energy and effort produce results and success and failure are both relative and subject to individual definitions.
~ Have you made a sincere attempt to create an authentic life, that fulfills and nourishes you and, in turn, gives you the sustenance to serve your community?
~ Have you been living someone else's dream or truth?
~ Have you just been adrift, with no thought of a dream or purpose?
Be careful, if you don't decide the direction you want to go, the Universe will thrust you in one! And while that may ultimately lead to enlightenment, it certainly is the hard way to go about getting there.

Move confidently in the direction of your goal and the Universe will do the rest to ensure the manifestation of that goal. If you don't know where you want to go, then the Universe cannot help you get there and may decide on your behalf that you need this or that experience to wake you up and force a decision on your part. God has granted us free will and choice - so choose something that feels right to you and your life, then go for it!

I used to always be the first person to get up and dance at a party. And I don't remember ever feeling like, "Oh, I just want to be the center of attention!" I remember thinking, "Let's get this party started! I want EVERYONE to dance!" When you live authentically, you give everyone around you permission to do the same! (And way more often than not, everyone got UP and we got the party started ... TOGETHER!!!)

Expand Your Horizons!
Going to the Next Level

Sagittarius energy is all about expansion! Expand means to: make or become greater in size, scope or range or it means to open up and out; unfold. We want to do ALL of that this month! There is a story that Wayne Dyer tells on one of his tapes that illustrates my point perfectly. If you take a pair of shorts with an elastic waist and pull them as far as they will go, they will snap back to normal with no problem. However, when you pull the elastic BEYOND ITS LIMITS, the shorts are NEVER THE SAME AGAIN. That's what we want to do. Extend your Self beyond where you usually give up or stop. Start slow and easy but take some aspect of your mind, body, spirit or life and take it to the next level in some way. Growth isn't always easy and it can sometimes be painful, but the end result is so worth the effort. There's a quote by Vincent Van Gogh, "If you hear a voice within you say 'you cannot paint,' then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced!"

Prayer/Affirmation:
I fearlessly move to the next level, welcoming all the lessons and the blessings that come to me by Divine right.

Another Sagittarius aspect is about exploring other philosophies and ways of living (religions, cultures, etc.) It's about trying new and different things and then taking the parts that resonate with you and combining various beliefs to create your own unique belief system, which works for you. Explore and experiment with different concepts. For a lot of us, we hold on to outdated belief systems that no longer serve our Highest good, it's just old habits dying hard. However, in this day and time, it has become essential that we roll with the changes and adapt. We are being forced to release any preconceived notions about life and the best way to live it. Release any old conditioning that may not even be yours, but you picked it up along the way and don't even realize it.

Prayer/Affirmation:
I am open and receptive to new belief systems which will serve my Highest good, now in this moment and always.

Another principle Sagittarius brings to the table is honesty! However painful or uncomfortable it may be, now is the time to take a good long look at how you're living and if it is really your Truth. This energy is not honest in a critical way (and you shouldn't be either - with your Self or others) but in a detached way, where you access this ability to stand back and accurately assess who and where you are in life. Detachment is not a bad thing when you're trying to figure out where the changes are necessary; where you need to expand and where you need to pull back in your life.

Prayer/Affirmation:
I am detached from the 'how' and 'when' things manifest in my life (that's God's job) and I choose this day to live as honestly as possible, thereby attracting my Truth and Purpose.

Enthusiasm is sometimes ALL we have to attract things into our lives with ... and sometimes that's all it takes. Have you ever been around someone with a contagious personality? They just exude enthusiasm and it gives you permission to be more enthusiastic as well. We need more people like that in the world. But really, when you're trying to manifest, you may not have the money or background that you need, but if you are FULL of enthusiasm, people will listen. A good way to know if you're truly enthusiastic is when it is natural. If you have to think about it, you're on the wrong track - what I'm talking about is a feeling - a gut feeling.

Prayer/Affirmation:
The Eternal Essence of who I am is not my mind (which thinks), but my heart (which feels); I live each day from my heart, come what may.

You are on a Spiritual Quest, whether consciously or not, at this time. Higher learning is underway and you have probably gathered a considerable amount of information lately, and now it is time to assimilate and integrate it all. Take some time in nature, in silence, to listen to what your Higher Self is trying to convey to you at this time. Question long-held beliefs about your Self and others. Rather than living your conditioning, tune in to the Truth as YOU define it and exercise your free will and choice to choose a new path.

Prayer/Affirmation:
I lovingly release long-held beliefs which no longer serve my Highest good and embrace a new truth.

This is the month to expand your thinking. If you are not even open to an ideal, if you haven't even tried to cultivate your own Truth, then this month gives you the incentive to access that part of you. Next month, with Capricorn energy, you can give that ideal a structure and develop a plan for making it tangible, however, this month, only focus on the HIGHEST POSSIBLE OUTCOME. One month of your life, you can free your thinking just enough to allow a new seed to be planted.

Prayer/Affirmation:
I commit to taking the time to discover my Highest Truth and expand my thinking, to dream and dream BIG, then taking the next step to fully expressing the wonder that is my life, the life I created.

A non-doer is very often a critic.

and then waxes philosophically
about how the doers are doing.
It's easy to be a critic,
but being a doer requires
EFFORT, RISK & CHANGE.

Happy Re-Birthday to all, and especially Aries folks! For many people (past the age of 25), birthdays come with a mixture of hope for the new and stress over the old, what's done (or not done) by now. We all experience some degree of "review" during birthday time. So - good news first - those who are craving a clean slate / fresh start - THIS is your chance!! Bad news is - it will not be an 'easy' new start, except maybe for those of you who love a challenge and thrive on overcoming obstacles.

This month of Aries, as I do every year, I give you PERMISSION TO BE SELFISH!! One month is no time to assess and plan for one year (and beyond). This month you should be focused on YOU! Your needs, your desires and what you deserve in exchange for the energy you share in your personal and professional life. Exchange, flow, reciprocity are all mandatory but the only way to ensure that energy flows freely is to remove all the blockages within. Mars and Pluto are working diligently, over a very long period of time, to ensure a permanent shift in your perception of need vs. desire.

FAITH ~ RISK ~ COURAGE ... *NOW*

~ FAITH ~ that you ARE in the right place, at the right time, with the right people for the lesson and the blessing. Faith in your Self, your Truth, your abilities, and your contribution as worthy and necessary. Faith that God is the Infinite Source of your supply and you already possess all that you need to maintain your life.

~ RISK ~ a willingness to risk investing in your own potential ~ for your own sense of accomplishment ~ for your own forward movement ~ to make progress in your own life. It seems that we are all willing to take incredible risks on behalf of people or entities which, in my humble opinion, are hardly worth it (in this context), not to mention the fact that these very same people and entities would NEVER risk (to any degree) for YOU! Remember, never allow someone else to be your PRIORITY ... if you are only their OPTION!

~ COURAGE ~ to face your fears and do it anyway, which is TOTALLY supported, even encouraged by Mars/Aries energy by the way. Courage of your convictions - to stand up for what you believe in even if no one close by agrees with you. Right or wrong in the end, when you are courageous enough to go after what you want, stand up for what you believe in, do what others are afraid to even try and/or take a step in the direction of your goals, you earn self-respect as well as the respect of others.

So this month, there are a couple of things to keep in mind while you go about organizing your life for spring renewal / re-birthday / and all these initiation energies (among others). This Season in particular, the transformation (Pluto) of your values & relationships (Venus), the expansion (Jupiter) of who you are and your core drives (Sun), and expressing your thoughts (Mercury), your deepest desires (Mars) and emotions (Cancer) are all giving you an opportunity for a breakthrough!

Squares in astrology are usually described as "hard angles" that the planets make to each other, so while it will likely be stressful in the moment, please keep somewhere in the back of your mind, as you move through this month and interact with others, that the whole point of any challenge(s) or blockage(s) which do pop up, are only to help you facilitate some very necessary (and long overdue) change(s). They are also giving you a palpable opportunity for ULTIMATE MASTERY of Self, for finally 'getting' the lesson so you can move on to other things.

It is advisable to be 'courageous' and 'faithful' and take a risk in choosing a new response, which will in fact elicit a new result. Stability and healing are the ultimate goal of the current energies and change is good!

It is vital that I remind you of the planetary support we all have access to at this time as it is more than the usual "shifts" - we are ALL AT A MAJOR LIFE CROSSROADS!

Sagittarius requires us to take a moment to make meaning out of all the information we have gathered over the last 6mo - 2yr. And last month, Scorpio energy brought some very real, deeply buried issues to the surface and further revealed what is truly ending, complete and finished in your life. The reason for this is the end-of-an-era energy going on at this time. We really are ending some HUGE cycles, personally and globally, and beginning completely NEW ones. There is no more postponing, putting on the back-burner, avoiding, burying, or sweeping under the rug - basically, there is no more rug - no more cover! Not to totally negate free will and choice, you must remember that you can run but you can't hide (from Self) so you can "choose" to postpone or face things once and for all and move freely, LIGHTER, to the next level. It is time to subjugate your ego to that of higher, Divine Will.

If you find that things are dis-integrating in your life, keep in mind that some things have to "break" to heal correctly and re-integrate stronger. Many people are experiencing career change, relationships ending, income streams shifting, health issues popping up (or getting worse), please know that it truly is Divine Order. You are changing, growing, evolving, and when YOU change - everyone (and everything) else around you must shift too (or go away, even temporarily). These are "growing pains" or "labor pains" you are feeling and while they may seem unbearable in the moment, it is not a permanent condition. You are in the VOID - between the old and the new - where you have to focus - you have to breathe - and be present, keeping in mind the most optimistic possible outcome because if you give in to the fear, you only create more pain, more challenges & more karma to clear.

When you catch yourself giving in to the fear (False Evidence Appearing Real) and gravitating toward the worst-case scenarios, it can be infinitely effective to immediately correct those thoughts with the Highest outcome you can possibly imagine in that moment. My thinking is, if we are in a space where "anything can happen" - which I believe we are - then why not only connect to the miracles? Why can't that "anything" be fantastic rather than horrible? Are you an optimist or a pessimist? It is your choice. But know this, it is an infinitely creative time - WHATEVER you think or imagine is instantly created and eventually (sooner or later) manifested.

Sagittarius time is the time in between the end (of the old) and the beginning (of the new), in between the invisible (Scorpio) and the visible (Capricorn) energies, where the possibilities are only limited by your imagination and ability to believe in your Self and the Universe (faith). (Next month we move in to Capricorn where we begin to make the vision tangible and the physical work begins.) Sag asks everyone to reconsider their definition of Truth, Faith and Purpose. We are being presented with a tremendous OPPORTUNITY (Jupiter) the whole month of December. One month is scant time to free your mind of limitations, detach from appearances and focus ONLY on the Highest possible outcomes you can imagine (to any issue / problem / goal / objective). •What gets you excited or outraged and motivated to action?

Pick something near and dear to your heart, something you want to be a part of and start there. If you truly aspire to a *NEW* Truth, then a *NEW* Story will unfold organically. It helps to read the cues from the Universe and face your own Truth so that you can consciously *aspire* to something greater. Then your Higher Self begins to assist and molecules begin to move. Last month, Scorpio dug it up, this month, Sag will help you make *meaning* out of the revelations of the last 1-6-12 months. Sagittarius is the most spiritual of all the energies. Among many other complex things, it represents wisdom, higher learning and exploration. It's hard for most people to think big because their inner dialogue is usually, "I don't have the time or the money or the whatever-it-may-be". Release that JUST for today (just for an hour) and imagine that you have ALL THE MONEY AND TIME IN THE WORLD - EVERYTHING ~ is provided and taken care of ... now what would you do with your time, energy and resources? THAT'S Sagittarius energy - it's fiery, passionate, enthusiastic, go-for-it energy. So for this month, even if it's only on paper, THINK BIG!!

One of the things that will help you in connecting to this energy also is being in nature. When you cannot get to a place in nature, then put on an ocean or rain CD (or any soothing nature sounds). If not, then use your imagination and take time to go to a place that gives you peace and meditate there until you feel completely peaceful and then start writing things down that you'd like to do, be or have. This month is ALL ABOUT YOU ... the NEW you!! Release all that is no longer "truth" for you - on all levels. Begin the process of integrating these amazing new aspects you've recently discovered about your Self and HONOR who you have worked so hard to become!!

As you integrate on this new level, your ego may struggle against the shift. Ego wants to lead but unfortunately it finds fulfillment in the fleeting, whereas Spirit only seeks peace. The key is to allow Spirit to lead your healthy, empowered ego. These inner urges (the ego) should be handled with strength and firmness, yet NOT repressed and broken or we lose power and potency to survive and make our way in life. Do you see animals in nature allowing other animals to distract them from their prey (goal)? No, you don't. Iron-will and great courage are necessary to manifest the Spiritual vision within you as well as out in the world. You must CHANNEL any anger/rage, which immobilizes you - in to outrage, which empowers you and motivates you to action. There will always be some sort of challenge from your environment and there may be an inner war of the two distinct identities you have cultivated over the years (as humans are innately dual on many levels), but it needn't be a "war" as much as a compromise.

As you allow both Spirit & ego to co-exist, assigning them both tasks best suited to their skills (and nature), you will discover your authentic Self. Sometimes we don't allow the authenticity that would enable us to create fulfilling lives. Be authentic - by any means necessary. You can and will survive all the humiliations and defeats and ultimately emerge stronger! Children are the manifestation of a certain conflict (men/women) being handled creatively (coming together in harmony). Stress and strife are just as necessary as peace and tranquility. Accept all of it as part of living on the earth plane. No matter how spiritually committed or selflessly loving we attempt to become, our natures don't die. Practice honoring your true nature.

Do not shy away from your intuition just because you want to avoid conflict. Follow your feeling all the way and then consciously decide how to proceed. If you back off, chastising your Self for some natural impulse (to have things a certain way), you stop any possibility for peaceful resolution within. You usually only get one opportunity to respond to life's challenges (the first time) with any integrity. Any chance for resolution after your initial reaction, disintegrates as time goes on. Honor the vital force within (your nature) and it won't destroy you. Dishonor it and it will eat you alive.

You can have peace, by your own definition. Sometimes you have to lose something precious to you (sometimes it is a part of ourselves that must go) in order to redefine your true values. When you go through that kind of loss, it can make you question all your beliefs and any faith in your Self to make decisions for your Self. That's okay - that is part of it. All that you need, desire and deserve is ALWAYS PROVIDED!! whether you can see it at the time or not.

Remember, you get back from life what you put in to life - so have you been giving half-way or full-out!!? It is said that those who are not generous when times are lean, will not likely be generous even when things improve. You must keep the flow going - give and you will receive. What are you putting out in the Universe? This is the primary use for Leo energy in all of us, it is the part of us that attracts people and circumstances to us. Whatever you are putting out - is what you will attract in to your life. It may have been really difficult lately and you may be feeling like you have paid double for your transgressions, but a new cycle is beginning and you always have a choice as to how you spend your time and energy from now on. Generosity is a key element to living a rich, authentic and fulfilling life! Be generous with WHO YOU ARE - not necessarily what you "have". When you go forward, openly and honestly, you give others permission to do the same and authenticity and choice start to dominate or lead, more than fear and settling. PRACTICE BEING THE *NEW* YOU!

Rhythm, Patterns & Cycles ~ Oh My!

We have Eclipses every year so there is ALWAYS energy for change available. The Signs that these Eclipses fall in express the theme, energy and lesson(s) of that *change*. I did a little tracking and found that like 2009 and 2011, there are other years which bring 6 Eclipses, rather than the usual 4 (and sometimes 5). And on very rare occasions, years which bring 7 Eclipses in one calendar year. It happens, apparently, at least once in a decade. Because Eclipses represent pattern-breaking and permanent change, endings and new beginnings, you can see that these years always accompany intense shifts affecting individuals, as well as the Collective.

In all these years, the *intense* shifts come on the following *3* axes consistently:
Gemini/Sagittarius
Cancer/Capricorn
Leo/Aquarius

These energies and lessons lead us to conceive a new Truth/Story for ourselves and our world (Gemini/Sag); create, contain, nurture, protect and be responsible for it in 3-D (Cancer/Capricorn); and be authentic, lead by example and share our individual and collective brilliance with the global family ~ which includes ALL LIFE (Leo/Aquarius) on this planet. There are *overlap* years (with the Signs), but always, the entire set of Cancer/Capricorn is at the *Center*. Do any of the following years stand out to you, either personally or historically?

Now, also reflecting on the above patterns, I notice that we've had quite a stretch of so-called *peace* with the big Eclipse years falling each decade. But notice when we get the big Eclipse cycles back-to-back in a 4 year period. That clearly "ups-the-ante" for what and how we co-create with these energies and shifts (of both reality and consciousness). And we're just talking the last century (100 years). But let's bring it back to human size, *NOW* ~ 2009-2011 ~ we are in the most intense period we have experienced since 1944-1946. What can we learn from that period (1944-1946) regarding our *fundamentals* (Cancer/Capricorn)? how we perceive (Gemini) and conceive (Sag) our Truth/Story? and how we can better embody, express & share (Leo) that Truth in ways which improve, inspire and uplift all life (Aquarius)?

*NOTE* ~ it's interesting to notice that we got such an influx of energy during the 1900's and during the 2000's, we experience only half of that same influx. Also worth noting, for almost the entire 200 years, the Eclipses fall in the above Signs. It is not until 2096 do things move along and activate Taurus/Scorpio for the first time. So I am sure, over centuries of time, we eventually make our way throughout the entire zodiac.

With astrology, planets, cycles etc. we do not predict actual events but notice the patterns, the repetition, the choices and the reverberating consequences of those choices during times of intense transition on Earth or within ourselves or society. There are some amazing scientists, as well as astrologers, deeply focused on human and Earthly evolution, digging, searching for the patterns so that we can learn from our past choices. I won't even call them mistakes, but choices, which led in this direction or that and the subsequent results. Be the *Research Scientist* in your own life and dig for the patterns. It will help you make the choices and decisions that need to be made at this time (2010).

During this particular period in history (2009-2011), we have a unique opportunity to co-create with extremely potent energy, the potency further increased by Pluto (purification/transformation) and the North Node (current life path) in Capricorn. This means, if we take responsibility (Capricorn) for what we create (Cancer) then we can live on a stable, functioning *Right Path* (Capricorn North Node) and release the past karma, hunger, neediness and dependency (Cancer South Node) of the old Path. We can create a better structure (Capricorn) that encourages all to be responsible for their actions and contributions to the world, while releasing the past consciousness of sucking Mother dry (Cancer), believing She can continue to produce & provide nourishment with no down-time to replenish. Let's take our cue from Mother, and replenish ourselves on a regular basis, monthly, annually, seasonally and in to the decades and centuries of time as well. We can set intentions for the larger cycles and we can actively co-create with the days, months and years that we have during each lifetime.

Cancer/Capricorn energy illuminates the lesson that: whatever is going on, on the inside, reflects in the outer structure. The health and vitality of the inside, determines the strength and integrity of the protective outside. Both are needed, both are useful and both are inter-dependent. Capricorn is responsible for the family it creates with Cancer. Cancer is responsible for containing and nourishing the life-force energy of Capricorn's work so the structure is sound from the inside-out. They are the *ultimate* Divine Mother/Father archetypes or principles. It is time to redefine our terms where business and family are both concerned. It is time to *HEAL* that primal and eternal connection to the Sacred Mother and the Sacred Father. It is time to remember that *BOTH* are necessary for emotional and material security. It is time to realize that we do not have to choose one, to the exclusion of the other, but can redefine *BALANCE* and shift co-dependence to inter-dependence and be more productive and happy. It's the beautiful quality and rightful purpose of being conscious, thinking Beings. Humans have a certain awareness that enables us to navigate our world, just as other lifeforms do. It's our responsibility to maintain and strengthen the connection on a consistent basis.

If all that sounds too "big" for you to focus on, then pull within. Use this energy to *HEAL* YOUR connection to your biological or adopted Mothers and Fathers. That will vibrate out to the ethers and affect the globe automatically. If we cannot define healthy, responsible, loving parents, then we cannot be them either (whether birthing human families or the creations of your heart). It's a cycle, one which can be worked with over and over again until the patterns you want broken can officially break and the patterns you want anchored can actually take root. But either way, you're still back to your own "conceptions/perceptions" (Gemini/Sag) ~ you're own ability to be responsible for what you create in the world (Cancer/Capricorn) and how much love and courage, rather than ego and self-righteousness (Leo/Aquarius), you imbue your thoughts, words and deeds with as you move through your own personal life. You ARE the "gift" ~ you ARE the "contribution" ~ manage YOU! and you will be intuitively led to your Truth & Purpose (Internally), as well as the love and recognition that goes with living integrity and being whole (Externally). Every time I get overwhelmed (or talk to those with the same feelings), I breathe and pull back in to my own body and ask to be guided by my gut feelings (Cancer) as to the right and tangible (Capricorn) actions I can take ~ in the *Present* Moment. One step at a time. Knowing that each step will lead me to the ultimate goal, if I stay connected to my feelings and intuition (Cancer) and if I stay focused and committed (Capricorn).

Remember that Eclipses ultimately have to do with the interaction between our Earthly reality, the Sun which brings Source Energy and facilitates life, and the Moon which controls the tides of our life-giving waters. Ultimately, life on Earth is determined by Light (Sun) and Water (Moon). Sun/Moon/Earth makes this very personal for humans (Individual), but notice the decades of influence on society (Social) and centuries of influence on the planet (Collective). It's been about 60 years (think: Second Saturn Return) since we've had an opportunity like this one to drastically change our personal and collective reality. With Eclipses, we get a Galactic Reset Button ~ there is an "interruption of flow" ~ flow of Light ~ flow of Electro/Magnetic energy between our hearts and our Mother Earth. This is an opportunity to "break to re-align" ~ between micro and macro worlds, internal and external realms of life.

Use this time and energy to pull back, as the Retrogrades completely support you in your review process this Summer & Fall. Set your intentions for Home & Work / Emotional & Material Security / Balanced Feminine & Masculine (within and without) / Inner & Outer Harmony ~ for your Self, your Community, your Planet, your Universe. Renew your definitions and then renew your commitment to living a happy, healthy, loving, balanced, fulfilling life *NOW* ~ THIS Lifetime! Change is endless and ongoing, don't fight it or try to block or delay it, work with it consciously. When you have this kind of unprecedented support for radically changing how you do Family & Work, why not at least set the intention? This is what is best supported at this time, so if you're ready to change, it can and will happen during this 2-4 year period. Look for the dust to settle over 6-months to 3-years on these specific changes, and results of your choices to trickle in over the next 6-months / 1-year / 3-6-9-years.

Taurus 2010 ~ The Garden of Life

Taurus/Scorpio energy brings awareness of your deepest values, renewal of your priorities and access to the power to co-create your world. Taurus time (April/May) and the Taurus New Moon are the annual opportunities to seed the *Garden* of your life ... while Scorpio time (Oct/Nov) and the Scorpio Full Moon bring the annual gifts of power, magic and purification. Working consciously with these energies gives you a chance to truly ground your Highest intentions and bring them in to 'form' to serve the greater good, which will attract blessings beyond your wildest imagination ... *IF* you maintain integrity and DO THE WORK! Earth energy requires getting real ~ getting serious ~ and getting dirty! It is a chance to co-create, contribute and allow Great Spirit to breathe life in to the seeds you plant at this time.

This year, the Scorpio Full Moon (4/28) precedes the Taurus New Moon (5/13) indicating that a clearing and/or release is necessary before planting the seeds of the new. As we clear karmic debris, we create a space where it is clean and clear and ready for the fresh and new to be planted, built or brought in. Taurus/Scorpio energies teach us about the willing sacrifices we make for that which we truly value, as well as the lesson of hard work rewarded. This is the time when I remind people that seeds germinate in the darkness. The Taurus/Scorpio energy perfectly illustrates the relationship between the seeds developing below the Earth's surface, to produce a physical, tangible result (eventually) above the Earth's surface. So realigning your values and priorities within (Taurus) will help you create tangible results with power and magic (Scorpio). In that regard, it is also important to remain disciplined and focused. There is no time for petty distractions or silliness when you want concrete results. Time is of the essence for planting and nurturing what you want to grow in your life. This is time to do the work, get involved and create!

You have some additional assistance this year. Venus (values/priorities), Mercury Retrograde (review of ideas, thoughts, concepts) and the Sun (identity/Source) all make it in to Taurus prior to the Full Moon in Scorpio, which precedes the New Moon in Taurus, facilitating a clarification and clearing. This is an indication that you must do the internal/energetic work before you can produce the external/physical results. The Scorpio Full Moon will shine a light on the entanglements which are cutting off life-force energy, like a plant whose roots have outgrown the container and begin to choke the plant to death. The Scorpio Full Moon will help you do some pruning and release the aspects of your life which have grown toxic or are no longer "alive". These values (Venus), ideas (Mercury) and aspects of your identity (Sun) are no longer viable and need to be cleared away to make room for what *IS* healthy and taking root to expand, while also creating space for new seeds to be planted.

What are you growing? What is not thriving in your *Garden* and may need to be reconsidered? Can you create better conditions? What is or is not worth cultivating? Take this time to reflect as you move through Spring Cleaning and organize your *Garden* ~ planting the seeds, watering them and infusing the *Garden* with prayers for healthy growth and fruitfulness. Use this month to redefine what you value and what you are willing to invest your precious resources of time, energy and money in ~ to ensure a healthy, beautiful, self-sustaining, and comfortable world. You are probably working on many different things you would like to grow and blossom in your world at this time. And as in a garden, each requires certain care to grow and maintain. This is the time you ground your intent and commit to steady, consistent efforts that produce results over time.

One final thought ... anything you create, you are responsible for (also known as the 'ability to respond'), so check out the origination of the word RESPOND: Latin ~ From respondere: re- "back" + spondere "to pledge" / "respond, answer to, promise in return". You did the work, clearing karmic debris and creating a space for the garden (your new life); you planted the seeds you chose for your new garden; and with the Full Moon in Scorpio, you are entering a covenant with the Universe that if It breathes LIFE in to your dreams, you will be RESPONSIBLE for nurturing them throughout their lifespan. Which leads to the French ~ responsible: "answerable (to another, for something)" / Meaning "morally accountable for one's actions". You CHOSE to create this life, now you are responsible for it and all that comes with it ... the good, the bad and the ugly! (As well as the knowledge that ALL IS PERFECT in the eyes of Great Spirit!) So take advantage of all these delicious (and potent) Earth energies to get 'real' with your Self and your deepest desires and values and THAT will be the life you will be living. All experience prior to now, was preparation for THIS! You're more ready than you think and this is no time to chicken-out, you are standing in the doorway which leads to a whole new existence, but you still have free will and choice. However, remember, you also have the supreme strength of some very powerful planets behind you, beside you, beneath you, above you and WITHIN YOU! It is time.

Venus (values/priorities) and Mercury (thoughts/ideas/concepts) both dive in to Aries prior to the Sun, getting your *Heart* (Venus) and *Mind* (Mercury) in alignment so that a renewed *Identity* (Sun) can shine forth. As the Sun enters Aries ~ *Spring* Equinox Initiates a new Solar/astrological year. This is a *Universal* RE-Set Button. Clean Slate. New Beginning. It is *Initiation/Integration* for my Aries/Libra babies and *Growth/Development* for my Cancer/Capricorn babies. However, everyone has Aries ruling some area of life and this is the area of life that gets activated at this time every year. Do you know your rhythm for this? How do you feel every Spring? This is a Divine opportunity to discover what you're really capable of when you match passion with vision, align your heart/mind connection and never hesitate to take heart-centered action. It is time to embody the energy that is both wild and peaceful, always alert and ready for the next the adventure. Obstacles ~ that's a detail! Delays ~ better watch out! Challenges ~ bring it on! Aries is single-minded, determined and completely focused on present moment so it particularly adept at improvising with whatever is available in the here and now. (We could all use some practice there!) It's the fire that fuels the desire driving that moment in time.

Imbalanced Aries, demonstrates negative Libra: indecision, people-pleasing, other-directed. It is best for Aries energy to remain central and first priority. When Aries is balanced, it embodies courage and pure, instinctive drive ~ it gets things moving and it's exciting to behold. Aries' animal spirit is that of the Ram, fearless, agile and determined. We are born on this planet with all that we need, desire and deserve coded in to our DNA. Modern life has attempted to disconnect our instinctual connection to Mother Earth, however, that is impossible. One month past the Cancer/Capricorn Eclipses (course corrections) of Dec/Jan, what crossroads can you identify? What correlations can you make to the Aug 2008 Leo/Aquarius Eclipses? What has changed on a *fundamental* level (Cancer/Capricorn ~ personal/professional) for you, that has now made you aware of how vital it is to honor your essential nature (Leo/Sun) so you are able to contribute to the whole (Aquarius/Uranus) in a more useful and delicious way? The way is a bit more harrowing for those who insist on holding on (fixed nature types) to that which has crumbled and dis-integrated because it has served its purpose, completed and is no longer necessary. It is time for you to further define truth and happiness for yourself. It can no longer follow the formula of generations past. You have direct access to this potent Uranian energy and you can now connect directly to a UNIQUE VISION OF LIFE, COMMUNITY AND THE PLANET.

The recent surge of Capricorn/Saturn energy has brought to the surface the need for a reality check but we're going to take that to a Higher level now, and rework our definition of reality and security. It is time to operate strictly from the HEART ... chase a PURPOSE, not a job! What is your purpose? How do you serve and contribute? If you've been stuck in "survival mode", for whatever reason, now is the time for a paradigm shift in to *Self-Preservation* ~ breaking chains of "obligation" in favor of being joyfully *responsible* for all you create. Life is too short and certainly hard enough on its own but when you are focused on a purpose, something bigger than you, you're in the FLOW, participating, co-creating a much richer experience for your Self and those lives you touch along the way (of which there are many).

If you have been getting in-sync with your personal cycles and the current energy, harmonizing with nature more often, and vibrating at a new (and Higher) frequency, catching glimpses of your new reality, you are on the right track. Part of your covenant with the Universe, to be here at this time, is to usher in this new era. Your consciousness IS your contribution, how you use your energy at this time is setting the tone for generations to come. When you step out of "survival mode" even for a second, your perspective shifts and you see that you are participating at the dawn of a new age.

The beginning is the most delicate stage of evolution. You are likewise beginning anew (on one or many levels in your life). Choices made now are crucial to your long-term plan. Aquarius time is the perfect time to broaden the scope of your vision. Keep the 12 year cycle you just began in mind, what is the NEW STORY you want to tell (of your life)? If hindsight is 20/20, then what would you do differently NOW/TODAY to align your life and daily routine with your deepest heart's desire? For example, I've been using the moving metaphor lately because we have been "moving" in to a brand new, and long-term cycle.

~ Say you had to move next month, what amenities would you look for that you did not think of when choosing the place you currently reside in?
~ In relationships, what would you choose differently if you were to start over at this time?
~ In career choices, how different would your career path be if you chose something you love and are passionate about versus what paid the most or had the most prestige, or worse, what someone else wanted you to do?

This is the time to apply these standard questions to the current *Time* and situation. How have you truly *moved* ... in consciousness and in reality? This is a prime opportunity to set new intentions for living your Truth & Purpose. The issues, people and circumstances that are leaving your life at this time are moving out in Divine Time. That is creating a vacuum for you to start fresh, with a clean slate. Choose wisely, be prepared to work hard but take time to recognize every blessing along the way. When you work from the heart, with passion and purpose, the angels pave the way!

*Winter* Solstice ~ initiates the Solar year and welcomes the Return of the Light. Things appear dormant on the surface, however, much life is developing beneath the surface ~ in preparation for Spring. Still a time of relative darkness and limited mobility, you are most supported for working behind the scenes, communing with other realms, honoring darkness and silence and receiving information, nourishment and replenishment with a clear intention of strengthening for soon-to-come action and forward movement.

Next Season is a little more 'mental' but this Sacred Season is about what you *feel* on the deepest levels and creating space to move from that Center within ... out in to the world to be a useful and dynamic participant in Life. This is the time of year to set your intentions for what you want to create, within your own Being and out in the world through good works. It's time to strategize about the future, while building on what is solid and worthy. It's time to take the past year's 'fruits of your labor' and put them to good use. It's time to get serious and practical about what you want and create a plan for success.

During this Sacred Season, the Sun makes the journey through ALL Capricorn and the first half of Aquarius. After Sag helps you anchor a new Truth/Story for the new year, Capricorn time comes along to anchor that Truth in the 3-D. This energy brings the Annual Reality Check: Do your inner and outer lives *match*? What's working? What's not? about your current reality. That is not the point of this energy. The point is that you are in completely new territory and you must take your time and process (Mercury Retro) the information presenting itself, you must review past actions (Mars Retro) to determine what will work here and now, and you must complete whatever you've started before you can expand on your plans (Saturn Retro). These three indicate that 2010 must be navigated with careful, practical thought, in connection with measured, heart-centered action so you can complete your individual healing (Saturn in Virgo) in preparation for creating solid relationships and community going forward mid-year (Saturn in Libra).

The final connection (of 3) between Jupiter (Truth/Story) and Neptune (Vision/Unity Consciousness) happens on Winter Solstice, amplifying the power of renewal. The first one was in May, then July and now finally, in Dec. Reflecting on the previous contacts will give you an idea of how to proceed. There is always a *catalyst* (the first contact) then a *review* (pull back to go forward) and finally, fortified with healing and new information, *forward* movement. For those who have been consciously working on their healing processes for the last 10-12 years, the Healing Trinity is really solidifying all that work and rewarding all that dedication by fusing the fragments of your Soul, strengthening you for the next leg of your journey. For those who've avoided or suppressed their own true nature, ignored open or festering wounds (for whatever reason), the Healing Trinity has activated a process you can and should co-create with or it will be decidedly more lengthy and painful. The Sun has its annual cycle through the zodiac, however, Pluto is only in a sign for 10-20 years at a time and takes 248+ years to cycle through the zodiac. Pluto is the Purifier and the Sun represents your core essential Self. Every year they get together and clear out more of the deep, karmic debris within each individual, as well as the collective. Reflect on how your belief system was deeply altered and/or integrated over the years of 1995-2008 as Pluto moved through Sagittarius. Now that you're clear on what you believe to be "true", the shift of Pluto in to Capricorn initiates a new 16-year process of healing and purification. Those with Capricorn as their Sun Sign will get the biggest infusion over this cycle, but certainly everyone's Cancer/Capricorn Planets and Houses will be stimulated to transform and move to a new level of expression. Anytime planets change sign or change direction, they slow down and gather strength, while beaming intense energy down to Mother Earth. Saturn has been in Virgo for the last 2+ years, restructuring your systems and healing your foundations in many ways, essentially preparing you for this shift in to Libra when you will be called to work with your family, friends and communities in new and different ways. On one hand, Saturn in Libra is going to reveal weaknesses in the structures of your primary relationships, so any that are falling apart already are likely to break down altogether.
