*TAURUS* 2014 Solar/Lunar Guidance

MONTHLY *SOLAR* GUIDANCE: As the Sun moves in to Taurus, it is time to see what new forms are worth strengthening & cultivating for the year. When you plant seeds, you never know which will take root, but now you should see some promise around some of the intentions you set for 2014. Our ongoing mantra these days is: Is it worth it? The general energies are intense and transformative and this month, things may get literal. Taurus gets us present to our creature comforts and basic security needs like food, sex & money.  This is an *Annual* Activation for everyone, but for the *Fixed* Family, it can be a little more intense & personal ... Taurus *Initiation* ~ Scorpio *Integration* ~ Leo/Aquarius *Test/Growth*.     

Taurus also represents the Gate of Power, the Mid-Point between Spring & Summer. This is a Infinitely potent time ~ "in between" ~ a place, also referred to as the "Sweet Spot" - that very thin membrane between *SEED* and *NEW* Life ... between *Spring* Equinox (seed) and *Summer* Solstice (new life). It reminds us of the beauty and sustenance Mother Earth has always provided, not just for humans, but for all life on this planet.

    

It is time to tune in, harmonize and synchronize your rhythm with Nature's rhythm. Just like we invite the Invisible Assistance & Ancestors during the November Scorpio Gate of Power which honors Death (in the Life/Death/Life Cycle), we now honor renewed Life, and can now invite the Elementals, Nature Spirits, Devas and the Plant Kingdom in to conscious collaboration, honoring their teachings and sacrifices made to assist, feed and support life on this Planet in ways humans may not always be aware or capable of.

   

This is a time to celebrate fertility, abundance and our relationship to Mother. It is a time to celebrate all that you have created and contributed to, while mindfully preserving *Life* along the way. Ritual, dance, drumming, toning and/or chanting are always used in celebrations of Earth and her bounty, as is wearing or surrounding your Self with *Green* ~ the color of Life/Love ~ and the Heart Chakra.

  

Finally, lending weight to the energies this go-round is Juno in Taurus. Juno takes about 4-years to move through the zodiac, so the last time it was in Taurus was March/April 2010. Again, my Fixed Babies may feel this one a little more strongly than most, but certainly we can all take advantage of her added energy. As we cultivate the Garden, Juno reminds us that we are IN PARTNERSHIP with Mother Earth, and this is a reminder to deepen our dedication to living in more balanced, natural ways. As we finish up the Taurus/Scorpio Eclipses, we have this additional support to commit to LIFE. Patriarchal dominance is a death-oriented system that is unsustainable. Life is created by both the Sacred Masculine & the Sacred Feminine, one or the other cannot create alone, and neither can we.

 

It is time to be grateful for the advances of technology, while still honoring that Nature takes time to cultivate and fully develop Life before it is ripe for the sharing. We must slow down and allow natural processes their time to fully develop otherwise, we miss the sweetness & nutrient. There is much energy for change, which can be chaotic and unsettling, however, you should already be aware of the core issues for you/yours so use this month's energy tune in to any internal 'famine' and know that all you need, desire & deserve is already here. All you need to do is align with it and create space for it in your life. Miracles abound!

 

Even the Divinations guide us toward an understanding of 'As above, so below' ~ that we ARE the bridge between Heaven & Earth; that we are Spirits having a Human experience and we spend most of our lives just coming to terms with the limitations of our earthly bodies ; -) and Taurus time invites us to experience the pleasure & sustenance Mother provides and give deep gratitude for such bounty! The body, like fruit & flowers, has a natural lifespan that is not long by any measure so enjoy the time you have, bask in the present moment, for it truly is a gift.

 

MONTHLY *LUNAR* GUIDANCE: If you missed last month's Lunar/Solar Guidance, I recommend it as these two lunations are related and rolling one in to the other and that missive "set up" this week's continued focus. This week is even more potent and telling! I've mentioned that we have a 'double dose of Sacred Feminine energy to a single dose of Sacred Masculine' and for the guidance this month, I pulled all four Sisters + one Brother! More importantly, Earth Brother & Earth Sister are the only two "mortals" in this version of the tarot, which too, is speaking directly to each of us and our humanity. It is time to fulfill our potential and rise to the next level in every way. That said, we are still talking 'fundamentals' and the basics of life and living on this planet. So don't be overwhelmed, instead, SIMPLIFY, PRIORITIZE & RE-DISTRIBUTE YOUR ENERGY & RESOURCES. Also, I decided to give the guidance 'weekly' below because the guidance was so compelling and supportive of what the planets are doing. Read on for MORE!

    

The Aquarius Last Qtr Moon (4/22) may be challenging you to own your Truth in a completely new way because the old Truth no longer applies. You may have grown accustomed to certain habits, where your food, sex & money are concerned, that will no longer work or support you. This tests you to release the old way and be radically different. The catch is to stay centered in your *HEART* (Leo) as you commit to change and let go of an old way of living your life. What's Truth for you NOW?

  

This leads to the Taurus New Moon/Solar Eclipse (4/29) which is a very powerful Eclipse for all! It is time to set your intentions for the most beautiful, abundant *Garden* your imagination can dream up ~ Right Now! It's time to set your intentions for how you want to live - physically - literally - in your body. How is your physical reality? How equally do you distribute your resources of time, energy & money? Do you find yourself at "zero" on one or all of these (time, energy, money)? How often do you live at "zero"? How often do you experience "full" (plenty-full-satisfied)? When do you experience balance in your physical life, when you get enough rest, play, work & silence?

     

Taurus is always about enjoying the natural, physical life of living on Earth ~ all senses are engaged and deeply valued for each gift they bring to your individual experience. Your senses, like your heart, communicates directly 'from you - to you' and no translator is necessary. A lot of our world forces us to dull our senses because the way we're living is so unnatural that our bodies literally rebel. The last year and a half has been a "rewiring" process of revealing the decay and what is no longer sustainable, and now, with the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Taurus, we can initiate completely NEW ways of living physical life. More focus on the abundance and sustainability ~ more integration and practice of true balance, within and without - more conscious awareness of 'price vs. cost' to our Souls as well as to the environment - more gratitude - more beauty - more lifeforms living in true harmony.

    

This Taurus/Scorpio eclipse series is almost over, this is the final Taurus New Moon and we have the final Scorpio New Moon in October when we will also realign our true power & a renewed discipline that deeply respects and reveres Nature herself as the Source of our supply. For over a year now, how we physically live on Earth and how we utilize Mother's many natural resources has completed a 20-yr cycle, which is naturally part of a couple of much larger cycles. There has been a bit of the 'gorge theory of pleasure' but that is unsustainable. The current rewiring, post-2012, is bringing the Sacred Feminine back in to conscious equal partnership with the Sacred Masculine, which promotes & sustains LIFE! One without the other does not work, for us or the planet. As we practice individual balance and internal harmony, we will start to see that Mother's abundance & security surrounds us, now & always. What physical reality would bring you the most physical pleasure & personal security? What is NATURAL for you personally? What are you ready to invest in?

 

The Leo First Qtr Moon (5/6) actually falls on the Taurus Gate of Power, so this is a potent day and week for initiating new Heart-Centered ways of living your physical, daily life. Where is the Heart in your life, that undeniable passion that sparks you from within? Where is the love in your life? How often do you laugh and play and just relax with friends? All this needs to be integrated in to your life on a regular basis, you may have been in a famine for way too long (many have). Use this Sacred week to connect to your own wealth, count your blessings and look for solid ways to expand that wealth in some kind of way. Check in with your magnetics, what are you attracting? what are you repelling?

     

This is the Mid-Point between Spring & Summer and it is a prime opportunity to access balance and equilibrium prior to the extremes associated with the coming season. You have 6-wks to rectify accounts and clear space for the bounty coming your way. You have done a LOT of literal and spiritual work over the last 2-5 years and this is a growth & development kind of time. Even if you are overwhelmed, you have to have some idea of how you'd like to live differently. Say a prayer inviting your Higher Self and your personal Guides (of which you have many assigned to you from birth) to clear the path for you so you can make the best choices for YOU! Ask them to align you with the energy and the resources to stabilize your life. You are deeply supported to do all this in a NEW way.

 

The Scorpio Full Moon (5/14) is powerful release time! We are literally coming to the end of a 2-month eclipse *Portal* and life will never be the same again. This is the week we completely release the past and compost all the death & negativity we've witnessed or experienced in the last several years. We have learned and lived SO much in the last 2-5 years, as well as the last 10 & 20 years, as we crossed over 2012. We are in such new territory that the only things you can take with you now are internal, on a Soul level - that's your power and your wealth now. It's time to conceive the new, then the Gemini lunation will explore the possibilities, while the Cancer lunation will figure out what truly feeds, sustains & protects you, and then the Leo lunation will test you further on the very things coming up for you NOW.

     

If you haven't conversed with your Soul in a while, now is the time to get reconnected. That connection is NEVER lost, but only needs regular fortification to serve you well. The guidance further supports this notion of the inner connection that creates the outer reality: "The Water Sister represents the power of the emotions and the unconscious/subconscious to give sustenance to idea. Since she is born from the unification of her father and mother, Fire and Water (the superconscious and the subconscious), she symbolizes the process of creation; the beginning of imagination on the physical plane."

*PISCES* time is so precious! It is where your whole year comes together and asks you to *Create* a Greater *Vision* from the *Raw Materials* of your experience and where you *Surrender* any attachment to the Past or the Future and BE *Present* ~ Go With the *Flow* (at least try ;-)) *Mutable* Energy: PISCES/Initiation ~ VIRGO/Integration ~ GEMINI-SAG/Growth ~ is the *Idea/Ideal* Realm ~ it's where you *Learn & Process* Life and where you discover exactly if/how what you *Believe* supports you, which activates the evolution of your Personal *Truth* ... something becoming more and more *FLUID* for all of us as Neptune & Chiron settle in for 8-14 Years in *Pisces*. This too will shape your Individual experiences, especially those of you with these Signs strongly placed in your chart.

Any time I feel the Neptunian *Fog* rolling in, I take a time-out and turn on my *Receiver* - think of it as *SONAR*, a device used to Navigate *Under Water*. With *7* Planets in *PISCES* this month, we may need *Assistance* clarifying our direction. I have been finding *Diamonds* when I *Open & Surrender* to receive Spirit's Guidance these days and when I block *Flow* (on any level/in any way) I see only a lump of coal that will require more energy than I have to convert. I have found soothing *balm* in Nature which always replenishes me! ("Break to Re-Align") I am then better able to *Give My Flow a Structure* and convert my worrisome (6 planets in) Virgo in to the practical, natural order Virgo so I can come back to the Current *PISCES* party (of Life) and contribute! As I type this, it occurs to me that this is a nice illustration of the *Balance/Integration* process of the Virgo (Earth) & Pisces (Water) energies ... Virgo says, "Surrender to the *Natural Order* and Experience *Miracles/Magic*!" and Pisces replies, "Surrender to the *Miracles/Magic* and Experience *Natural Order*!" Play with that! ;-)

I played with a couple of ideas and reviewed our *Recent Past* work (2-3 years) in the *Pisces/Virgo* realms and found some extremely relevant *gems*. I may have gotten a little carried away on the Divine Guidance for each week, as I went "diggin' in the crates" (an old DJ term that means digging to find that Great *Inspired* Music that will keep the energies *Flowing*) ~ when you go "diggin' in the crates", you are sometimes looking for something you will only know when you see it because the *FEELING* is so distinctly *YES*!! I followed my *Feelings* that there was something *Useful & Relevant* from our Collective/Cumulative work in the *Pisces/Virgo* realms in the last couple of years and sure enough, I found many juicy morsels of work we've already done, that we can NOW *Build* ON with the *Current Energy & Support*. It is THIS work (last 3-6 years) that informs our *Choices & Decisions* NOW ~ 2012 - 2013 - 2014 and beyond.

Get Connected to Your Higher Self!

The human part of us tends to 'think' rather than 'feel' and thus creates the illusion - that we are NOT connected to every other living organism in the Universe. The Neptune part of us KNOWS we ARE! When you get back far enough, you can see just how inter-connected we are - Mother Earth and all Her creations!

This month your Neptune is awakened. It is best not to miss the opportunity to check in on your dreams and remember your connection to the whole. If you do not take time out to dream and visualize how you'd like your life to be, then you will be plagued with forgetfulness or spacey-ness or disappointments stemming from believing one thing and finding another to be true. (If you cannot afford to take time out to visualize and ground your intention, when are you going to have time to actually take the steps to making them happen?)

This is the month to re-member who you are and why you are here so that you may serve, share and fulfill your Infinite potential.

Prayer/Affirmation:
I am open and receptive to connecting to the deepest part of my soul; the place inside me that KNOWS who I am and why I am here.

When this energy is activated, we tend to attract mirror images of ourselves. Pay attention to who crosses your path this month. The Universe is trying to communicate with you.

And any time it comes in the form of others crossing your path, it is usually something very deep within that you cannot see in yourself. Very often, you will see things in others first, before you are able to recognize or articulate these things in you.

I will see myself in everyone who crosses my path and show them the love and respect I'd hope for.

Alternately, you may project your feelings onto others, while thinking that it is them, when really - it is always YOU!

I look honestly at my Self and my motivations behind every word and deed.

It is a good time to examine any deep emotions or feelings that have come to the surface recently. The two expressions of this will be an easy-going feeling or it can be a raging storm of emotions you've suppressed for too long.

Either way, they are demanding attention at this time. Some of us suppress our Truth because we're afraid of 'drowning' in it and others suppress it for fear of being 'carried away' with it - whatever your reasoning is, take some time for self-reflection to understand the root of these emotions and then attempt to find a healthy, positive way to allow them expression (ie, exercise, dancing, journaling, meditate, creative writing etc).

Prayer/Affirmation:
I honor my personal truth by giving it a voice - giving it expression and sharing it with others.

Another manifestation of this energy is seeing things through "rose-colored glasses"; seeing what you want to see instead of what actually is. It's very easy to get disillusioned in a way that will eventually teach the lesson of discernment. You must be very discerning as to who, when and how much to trust when this energy is activated.

Hi All ~ I worked Major *Mojo* 11/11 thru 11/22 and then shifted for family obligations and like you, had to *simultaneously* navigate the intense Eclipse energy and incoming Mercury Retrograde. I have used the *Overview* + *Chart* portions of the Sag *Lunar* Tele-Class (11/17) as our Guidance for *NOW*. I just re-listened and found it tremendously useful! Sagittarius time every year, affords you the opportunity to *Deepen Your Truth* and *Expand Your Story* ~ to move from the revelations of Scorpio's *Raw Truth* ... to the inspirations of Sag's *Higher Truth* ... to make *meaning* out of all that has been brought in to the Light. We're also at the *Mid-Point* in the Jupiter Annual Cycle (Sag's Ruler) with one month left to complete the *Editing* Process Jupiter Retrograde brings (every year). Once it moves forward (12/25), so too will ALL that you *Clarify* at THIS time, when the Sun/Moon/Mercury/Venus/North Node all make their way through the sign of the Archer!

I have always thought Scorpio was my favorite time of the year but I'm amending that to include the whole last quarter of the year. Scorpio is the best because it clears out the old, Sagittarius is the best for dreaming up the future and Capricorn is the best for initiating the foundation for those dreams to expand on. I *LOVE* this time of year! It so beautifully supports this natural evolution. I can also testify that after working mojo *WITH* the energies over the years, it has always produced results directly equal to the investment of my own energy. I say that to say, you can invest a little or a lot and yield tangible results based on your efforts.

Another thing to consider is that the Sag *Work*( (11/22-12/22) is leading to the ONLY (almost) 30-day period of the entire year when ALL the planets are moving in forward motion ~ which means NO HOLDING BACK! Dec 25th (Jupiter Direct) until Jan 23rd (2012 - Mars Retro) provides a small window of opportunity to hold your own counsel, tune in to the cosmos and your Higher Self and come up with a new and improved vision for your life. I suggest you use the holiday season to give your Self the GIFT of TIME to reflect and plan. You are standing on this side of a bridge, about to crossover to completely new, and as yet, unknown territory, which deserves more than a fleeting thought.

As I ruminated the relationship between Sagittarius and Capricorn, many things started to dance in my consciousness. The energy of faith, optimism and enthusiasm (Sagittarius) to create a reality (Capricorn) based on your personal Truth (Sag) and ultimate Purpose (Capricorn) for being here. It CANNOT just be the proverbial 'struggle from the cradle to the grave'. 'Survival-Mode' is a state of mind and we have free will and choice to re-vision the "Mode" in which we navigate through this life. We've practiced transmuting 'Survival-Mode' for *Self-Preservation* in recent years and it is starting to pay off. Sag's gift is *Exploring* the possibilities, while Capricorn's gift is turning those possibilities into *Tangible* Reality. We need BOTH energies, and the lessons they bring.

If we can also use the energy of Mercury Retrograde in Sag (11/24 - 12/13) as well as the Sag/Gemini Eclipse Season this month, then NEXT month when ALL Planets are *Direct* for a brief time (12/25 - 1/23/2012) you can work with Capricorn's energy of ... Defining Your Reality ~ Creating Your Structure ~ Building Your Foundation ~ Renewing Your Definitions (of Everything) ... not to mention this is *INITIATING* 2012! It is vital to at least set your *Intentions* during this *OPEN* Field ... it is the most Fiery Creative Energy available for *Change* and Birthing *ANEW*! Yummm!

PS ~ Also consider the on-going Cardinal Cross which directly engages Uranus (Liberation) in Aries (Independence) ~ Saturn (Structure) in Libra (Balanced Relationships) ~ and Pluto (Transformation) in Capricorn (Responsibility) and this is the time it is *Activating* the Pluto in Capricorn "leg" (11/26 - 1/27/2012) making things fairly *Personal* for us all. Your frame of reference should be Spring & Fall Equinox and Summer Solstice, this Winter Solstice *Initiates* a NEW Year of work and the final one that Saturn will contribute to in this particular way. The Cardinal energies have to do with our *Fundamentals* ~ Home/Work ~ Private/Public ~ Self/Others ~ Individual/Collective. This is an EXCELLENT TIME to deeply *process* the past couple of years and recognize the truly *NEW* Level you're at and *NEW* Reality you're living. It is a NEW Day!!

· Face the consequences of past choices and commit to change (from this day forward)
· Do not be extreme but be vigilant
· Do not be rigid but be consistent
· Do not be apathetic or pessimistic but be flexible and relaxed
· Do not be stagnant but finish what you start
· Think bigger, expand your realm and consider other possibilities
· Invite the invisible help of your angels and guides to bring you creative solutions
· Find a need in the community and fill it
· Choose a cause to contribute some energy to (start w. SELF)
· Get out of your comfort zone but have FUN (this does not have to be painful)

This is a most pleasant energy, although short lived. This is a good time to enjoy some kind of social activity. No pressure - just easy, laid back fun. It can make you prone to laziness, but only if you’re already prone to it. Otherwise, if you are typically constantly on the go, this energy gives you permission to kick back a little and release the usual pressures to produce. Take some time out to “smell the roses” or at least reflect on all that you HAVE accomplished and give your Self due credit for coming this far. This is a good time to go on a vacation or short trip. This energy tends to bring forth rewards for past actions. Take a moment to give thanks to the powers that be which brought you to this point!

12/1 ~ Venus (relationships) ~conjunct~ Pluto (transformation):
This energy intensifies relationships, for better or worse. Because your values and priorities are shifting, relationships must also undergo a similar adjustment. Beware of value differences that can cause power struggles which are unproductive. Try to create circumstances that are win/win, and mutually beneficial, this will allow the relationship to EVOLVE, rather than revolve back into the cycle. It is best to use this energy to consciously transform your personal values and define how you’d like to be engaged with others in the future. Knowledge is power - and in this case, it is better to know than not know. You KNOW it's going to be a challenging time, so don't act surprised when it happens. This energy's sole purpose is to test the validity of a position you took or a statement you made about six months ago. The Universe, and a couple of humans for good measure, will be pointing out your weaknesses, short-comings, lack of preparation and mistakes you've made. Be careful not to be overly sensitive to others or impatient with the progress, or lack thereof, of your current situation. Be assertive but not belligerent and beware of it in others, toward you. Sagittarius energy is all about expansion! Expand means to: make or become greater in size, scope or range or it means to open up and out; unfold. We want to do ALL of that this month! There is a story that Wayne Dyer tells on one of his tapes that illustrates my point perfectly. If you take a pair of shorts with an elastic waist and pull them as far as they will go, they will snap back to normal with no problem. However, when you pull the elastic BEYOND ITS LIMITS, the shorts are NEVER THE SAME AGAIN. That's what we want to do. Extend your Self beyond where you usually give up or stop. Start slow and easy but take some aspect of your mind, body, spirit or life and take it to the next level in some way. Growth isn't always easy and it can sometimes be painful, but the end result is so worth the effort. There's a quote by Vincent Van Gogh, "If you hear a voice within you say 'you cannot paint,' then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced!"

Another Sagittarius aspect is about exploring other philosophies and ways of living (religions, cultures, etc.) It's about trying new and different things and then taking the parts that resonate with you and combining various beliefs to create your own unique belief system, which works for you. Explore and experiment with different concepts. For a lot of us, we hold on to outdated belief systems that no longer serve our Highest good, it's just old habits dying hard. However, in this day and time, it has become essential that we roll with the changes and adapt. We are being forced to release any preconceived notions about life and the best way to live it. Release any old conditioning that may not even be yours, but you picked it up along the way and don't even realize it.

Another principle Sagittarius brings to the table is honesty! However painful or uncomfortable it may be, now is the time to take a good long look at how you're living and if it is really your Truth. This energy is not honest in a critical way (and you shouldn't be either - with your Self or others) but in a detached way, where you access this ability to stand back and accurately assess who and where you are in life. Detachment is not a bad thing when you're trying to figure out where the changes are necessary; where you need to expand and where you need to pull back in your life.

I am detached from the 'how' and 'when' things manifest in my life (that's God's job) and I choose this day to live as honestly as possible, thereby attracting my Truth and Purpose.

Enthusiasm is sometimes ALL we have to attract things into our lives with ... and sometimes that's all it takes. Have you ever been around someone with a contagious personality? They just exude enthusiasm and it gives you permission to be more enthusiastic as well. We need more people like that in the world. But really, when you're trying to manifest, you may not have the money or background that you need, but if you are FULL of enthusiasm, people will listen. A good way to know if you're truly enthusiastic is when it is natural. If you have to think about it, you're on the wrong track - what I'm talking about is a feeling - a gut feeling.

You are on a Spiritual Quest, whether consciously or not, at this time. Higher learning is underway and you have probably gathered a considerable amount of information lately, and now it is time to assimilate and integrate it all. Take some time in nature, in silence, to listen to what your Higher Self is trying to convey to you at this time. Question long-held beliefs about your Self and others. Rather than living your conditioning, tune in to the Truth as YOU define it and exercise your free will and choice to choose a new path.

This is the month to expand your thinking. If you are not even open to an ideal, if you haven't even tried to cultivate your own Truth, then this month gives you the incentive to access that part of you. Next month, with Capricorn energy, you can give that ideal a structure and develop a plan for making it tangible, however, this month, only focus on the HIGHEST POSSIBLE OUTCOME. One month of your life, you can free your thinking just enough to allow a new seed to be planted.

For many people (past the age of 25), birthdays come with a mixture of hope for the new and stress over the old, what's done (or not done) by now. We all experience some degree of "review" during birthday time. So - good news first - those who are craving a clean slate / fresh start - THIS is your chance!! Bad news is - it will not be an 'easy' new start, except maybe for those of you who love a challenge and thrive on overcoming obstacles.

This month of Aries, as I do every year, I give you PERMISSION TO BE SELFISH!! One month is no time to assess and plan for one year (and beyond). This month you should be focused on YOU! Right or wrong in the end, when you are courageous enough to go after what you want, stand up for what you believe in, do what others are afraid to even try and/or take a step in the direction of your goals, you earn self-respect as well as the respect of others.

So this month, there are a couple of things to keep in mind while you go about organizing your life for spring renewal / re-birthday / and all these initiation energies (among others). This Season in particular, the transformation (Pluto) of your values & relationships (Venus), the expansion (Jupiter) of who you are and your core drives (Sun), and expressing your thoughts (Mercury), your deepest desires (Mars) and emotions (Cancer) are all giving you an opportunity for a breakthrough!

Squares in astrology are usually described as "hard angles" that the planets make to each other, so while it will likely be stressful in the moment, please keep somewhere in the back of your mind, as you move through this month and interact with others, that the whole point of any challenge(s) or blockage(s) which do pop up, are only to help you facilitate some very necessary (and long overdue) change(s). Sagittarius energy launches a personal and global Spiritual Quest to create a life that reflects our Highest Truth. There are some incredibly powerful shifts affecting everyone this month and next. It is vital that I remind you of the planetary support we all have access to at this time as it is more than the usual "shifts" - we are ALL AT A MAJOR LIFE CROSSROADS!

Sagittarius requires us to take a moment to make meaning out of all the information we have gathered over the last 6mo - 2yr. And last month, Scorpio energy brought some very real, deeply buried issues to the surface and further revealed what is truly ending, complete and finished in your life. The reason for this is the end-of-an-era energy going on at this time. We really are ending some HUGE cycles, personally and globally, and beginning completely NEW ones. There is no more postponing, putting on the back-burner, avoiding, burying, or sweeping under the rug - basically, there is no more rug - no more cover! Not to totally negate free will and choice, you must remember that you can run but you can't hide (from Self) so you can "choose" to postpone or face things once and for all and move freely, LIGHTER, to the next level. It is time to subjugate your ego to that of higher, Divine Will.

If you find that things are dis-integrating in your life, keep in mind that some things have to "break" to heal correctly and re-integrate stronger. Many people are experiencing career change, relationships ending, income streams shifting, health issues popping up (or getting worse), please know that it truly is Divine Order. You are changing, growing, evolving, and when YOU change - everyone (and everything) else around you must shift too (or go away, even temporarily). These are "growing pains" or "labor pains" you are feeling and while they may seem unbearable in the moment, it is not a permanent condition. You are in the VOID - between the old and the new - where you have to focus - you have to breathe - and be present, keeping in mind the most optimistic possible outcome because if you give in to the fear, you only create more pain, more challenges & more karma to clear.

When you catch yourself giving in to the fear (False Evidence Appearing Real) and gravitating toward the worst-case scenarios, it can be infinitely effective to immediately correct those thoughts with the Highest outcome you can possibly imagine in that moment. My thinking is, if we are in a space where "anything can happen" - which I believe we are - then why not only connect to the miracles? Why can't that "anything" be fantastic rather than horrible? Are you an optimist or a pessimist? It is your choice. But know this, it is an infinitely creative time - WHATEVER you think or imagine is instantly created and eventually (sooner or later) manifested.

Sagittarius time is the time in between the end (of the old) and the beginning (of the new), in between the invisible (Scorpio) and the visible (Capricorn) energies, where the possibilities are only limited by your imagination and ability to believe in your Self and the Universe (faith). (Next month we move in to Capricorn where we begin to make the vision tangible and the physical work begins.) Sag asks everyone to reconsider their definition of Truth, Faith and Purpose. Since we know all seeds germinate in the darkness, where Scorpio's magic breathes life in to Taurus' Garden, we now encounter the most vital part of the process ... If you truly aspire to a *NEW* Truth, then a *NEW* Story will unfold organically. It helps to read the cues from the Universe and face your own Truth so that you can consciously *aspire* to something greater. Then your Higher Self begins to assist and molecules begin to move. Last month, Scorpio dug it up, this month, Sag will help you make *meaning* out of the revelations of the last 1-6-12 months. Sagittarius is the most spiritual of all the energies. Among many other complex things, it represents wisdom, higher learning and exploration. Gemini, Sag's opposite represents *information* and how we gather along the way; Sag represents *wisdom* and how we making meaning out of the info gathered. This is the energy of learning all about new philosophies and ways of life.

At this time, you are in the unique position of being awake and conscious during a global shift, and you can now CHOOSE the Truth you would like your life to be/express. (Next month, Capricorn will help you ground it and form a strategy for making the vision tangible, for now, just dream as big as possible!)

When working with this energy (and that includes Sagittarius, Jupiter and 9th House issues), you want to think outside the box - think BIG!! It's hard for most people to think big because their inner dialogue is usually, "I don't have the time or the money or the whatever-it-may-be". Release that JUST for today (just for an hour) and imagine that you have ALL THE MONEY AND TIME IN THE WORLD - EVERYTHING ~ is provided and taken care of ... now what would you do with your time, energy and resources? THAT'S Sagittarius energy - it's fiery, passionate, enthusiastic, go-for-it energy. So for this month, even if it's only on paper, THINK BIG!!

One of the things that will help you in connecting to this energy also is being in nature. When you cannot get to a place in nature, then put on an ocean or rain CD (or any soothing nature sounds). If not, then use your imagination and take time to go to a place that gives you peace and meditate there until you feel completely peaceful and then start writing things down that you'd like to do, be or have. The Sag energy is about being so enthusiastic about a philosophy that you become it and express it and you actually become a larger presence because of your enthusiasm for it, expanding your own and others' horizons. It's time to walk-the-walk and actually LIVE YOUR TRUTH ... in action, word and deed.

Rhythm, Patterns & Cycles ~ Oh My!

We have Eclipses every year so there is ALWAYS energy for change available. The Signs that these Eclipses fall in express the theme, energy and lesson(s) of that *change*. I did a little tracking and found that like 2009 and 2011, there are other years which bring 6 Eclipses, rather than the usual 4 (and sometimes 5). And on very rare occasions, years which bring 7 Eclipses in one calendar year. It happens, apparently, at least once in a decade. Because Eclipses represent pattern-breaking and permanent change, endings and new beginnings, you can see that these years always accompany intense shifts affecting individuals, as well as the Collective.

In all these years, the *intense* shifts come on the following *3* axes consistently:
Gemini/Sagittarius
Cancer/Capricorn
Leo/Aquarius

These energies and lessons lead us to conceive a new Truth/Story for ourselves and our world (Gemini/Sag); create, contain, nurture, protect and be responsible for it in 3-D (Cancer/Capricorn); and be authentic, lead by example and share our individual and collective brilliance with the global family ~ which includes ALL LIFE (Leo/Aquarius) on this planet. There are *overlap* years (with the Signs), but always, the entire set of Cancer/Capricorn is at the *Center*. Do any of the following years stand out to you, either personally or historically?

Now, also reflecting on the above patterns, I notice that we've had quite a stretch of so-called *peace* with the big Eclipse years falling each decade. But notice when we get the big Eclipse cycles back-to-back in a 4 year period. That clearly "ups-the-ante" for what and how we co-create with these energies and shifts (of both reality and consciousness). And we're just talking the last century (100 years). But let's bring it back to human size, *NOW* ~ 2009-2011 ~ we are in the most intense period we have experienced since 1944-1946. What can we learn from that period (1944-1946) regarding our *fundamentals* (Cancer/Capricorn)? how we perceive (Gemini) and conceive (Sag) our Truth/Story? and how we can better embody, express & share (Leo) that Truth in ways which improve, inspire and uplift all life (Aquarius)?

*NOTE* ~ it's interesting to notice that we got such an influx of energy during the 1900's and during the 2000's, we experience only half of that same influx. Also worth noting, for almost the entire 200 years, the Eclipses fall in the above Signs. It is not until 2096 do things move along and activate Taurus/Scorpio for the first time. So I am sure, over centuries of time, we eventually make our way throughout the entire zodiac.

With astrology, planets, cycles etc. we do not predict actual events but notice the patterns, the repetition, the choices and the reverberating consequences of those choices during times of intense transition on Earth or within ourselves or society. There are some amazing scientists, as well as astrologers, deeply focused on human and Earthly evolution, digging, searching for the patterns so that we can learn from our past choices. I won't even call them mistakes, but choices, which led in this direction or that and the subsequent results. Be the *Research Scientist* in your own life and dig for the patterns. It will help you make the choices and decisions that need to be made at this time (2010).

During this particular period in history (2009-2011), we have a unique opportunity to co-create with extremely potent energy, the potency further increased by Pluto (purification/transformation) and the North Node (current life path) in Capricorn. This means, if we take responsibility (Capricorn) for what we create (Cancer) then we can live on a stable, functioning *Right Path* (Capricorn North Node) and release the past karma, hunger, neediness and dependency (Cancer South Node) of the old Path. We can create a better structure (Capricorn) that encourages all to be responsible for their actions and contributions to the world, while releasing the past consciousness of sucking Mother dry (Cancer), believing She can continue to produce & provide nourishment with no down-time to replenish. Let's take our cue from Mother, and replenish ourselves on a regular basis, monthly, annually, seasonally and in to the decades and centuries of time as well. We can set intentions for the larger cycles and we can actively co-create with the days, months and years that we have during each lifetime.

Cancer/Capricorn energy illuminates the lesson that: whatever is going on, on the inside, reflects in the outer structure. The health and vitality of the inside, determines the strength and integrity of the protective outside. Both are needed, both are useful and both are inter-dependent. Capricorn is responsible for the family it creates with Cancer. Cancer is responsible for containing and nourishing the life-force energy of Capricorn's work so the structure is sound from the inside-out. They are the *ultimate* Divine Mother/Father archetypes or principles. It is time to redefine our terms where business and family are both concerned. It is time to *HEAL* that primal and eternal connection to the Sacred Mother and the Sacred Father. It is time to remember that *BOTH* are necessary for emotional and material security. It is time to realize that we do not have to choose one, to the exclusion of the other, but can redefine *BALANCE* and shift co-dependence to inter-dependence and be more productive and happy. It's the beautiful quality and rightful purpose of being conscious, thinking Beings. Humans have a certain awareness that enables us to navigate our world, just as other lifeforms do. It's our responsibility to maintain and strengthen the connection on a consistent basis.

If all that sounds too "big" for you to focus on, then pull within. Use this energy to *HEAL* YOUR connection to your biological or adopted Mothers and Fathers. That will vibrate out to the ethers and affect the globe automatically. If we cannot define healthy, responsible, loving parents, then we cannot be them either (whether birthing human families or the creations of your heart). It's a cycle, one which can be worked with over and over again until the patterns you want broken can officially break and the patterns you want anchored can actually take root. But either way, you're still back to your own "conceptions/perceptions" (Gemini/Sag) ~ you're own ability to be responsible for what you create in the world (Cancer/Capricorn) and how much love and courage, rather than ego and self-righteousness (Leo/Aquarius), you imbue your thoughts, words and deeds with as you move through your own personal life. You ARE the "gift" ~ you ARE the "contribution" ~ manage YOU! and you will be intuitively led to your Truth & Purpose (Internally), as well as the love and recognition that goes with living integrity and being whole (Externally). Every time I get overwhelmed (or talk to those with the same feelings), I breathe and pull back in to my own body and ask to be guided by my gut feelings (Cancer) as to the right and tangible (Capricorn) actions I can take ~ in the *Present* Moment. One step at a time. Knowing that each step will lead me to the ultimate goal, if I stay connected to my feelings and intuition (Cancer) and if I stay focused and committed (Capricorn).

Remember that Eclipses ultimately have to do with the interaction between our Earthly reality, the Sun which brings Source Energy and facilitates life, and the Moon which controls the tides of our life-giving waters. Ultimately, life on Earth is determined by Light (Sun) and Water (Moon). Sun/Moon/Earth makes this very personal for humans (Individual), but notice the decades of influence on society (Social) and centuries of influence on the planet (Collective). It's been about 60 years (think: Second Saturn Return) since we've had an opportunity like this one to drastically change our personal and collective reality. With Eclipses, we get a Galactic Reset Button ~ there is an "interruption of flow" ~ flow of Light ~ flow of Electro/Magnetic energy between our hearts and our Mother Earth. This is an opportunity to "break to re-align" ~ between micro and macro worlds, internal and external realms of life.

This month you will have to take many deep breaths to maintain your equilibrium. The pressure is intense and the speed of which information is coming at you, is continuing to increase. Always keep in the back of your mind, if you cannot control it, release it to the Universe ... and if you CAN control it, then this (whatever is activating your "control" or "survival" buttons) is just a reminder to inhale back your own authority and your personal power to choose ... your power to change your mind and thus, your circumstances. In the instant you commit to your choice, change can occur. Because it is Gemini time, I am inclined to think most of us have some major decisions to make which are going to require us to choose between two (or more) distinctly different paths. These paths are going in such new and different directions, that you can no longer 'straddle the fence' or 'serve two masters' ... you will HAVE to choose.

Sagittarius (wisdom) helps Gemini (intelligence) make meaning out of the information coming through at this time. Right now, all SIX of your senses are being bombarded with information. How are your "filtering" systems working these days? We need to activate our "human spam box" where all non-relevant info should go automatically. Your main task at this time is sorting through all this information. You will know the Truth when you come across it because it will speak to you on a soul level and you will be compelled to act on that new knowledge.

These are not "small" or "easy" aspects of life to undergo such a major transition. HONOR THAT FACT by taking the time to review how you have expressed yourself up to now ... and reflect on how you want to express your Self going forward.

Who have you led your Self (and others) to believe you were (over the last 6-12 yrs)?
Who are you today?
What parts of you are solid and structurally sound?
Which parts of you are completely worn out and need to be released or recycled?

Use the current Full Moon in Sagittarius to release anything that is no longer part of your personal Story and all that is no longer "true" for you and then, plant your seeds at the New Moon in Gemini ~ take a deep breath and express your Self in a whole new way. The story of your life is not done yet. You can still choose to "edit" and change the next chapter any way your soul leads you to. Open your mind and heart this month and connect with your Authentic Voice in order to express your deepest Truth. Pay close attention, activate your filters for this particular flow of information. Some will be Divine Truth, some will be petty distraction, delaying you on your Path. It is a NEW day, and like it or not, you will have to make some (seemingly) daunting choices that will determine your course (path) over the upcoming 6-12 months and 6-12 years. Backwards is not an option, and even if it were, all that used to be back there is gone / done / over / completed anyway. So you can CHOOSE - or you can get dragged - but either way, you're going (to the next level). Actually you're already there but some people are holding on to the door as it closes on their fingertips.

It really depends on what you want to create and what you want to be a part of for the remainder of this lifetime. If you are comfortable with the "light and airy" aspects of this Gemini season, then enjoy them because this is the best time of year for creative exchange of ideas; use social situations to learn (and teach) and share information, you have more options than you think. INVITE COLLABORATION AND UNITY ~ look for circumstances that your individual personality and skill set is *valued*.

On the other hand, if you have some heavy duty choices to make at this time, solitude is probably better. Tuning in around the Full and New Moons, dusk and dawn, the turn of each Sacred Season, when the channels of communication are wide open, invites the Invisible Assistance. Ask the questions, be still and the answers will come ... then you must be prepared to accept a NEW Truth.

When you step out of "survival mode" even for a second, your perspective shifts and you see that you are participating at the dawn of a new age.

Next Season is a little more 'mental' but this Sacred Season is about what you *feel* on the deepest levels and creating space to move from that Center within ... out in to the world to be a useful and dynamic participant in Life. This is the time of year to set your intentions for what you want to create, within your own Being and out in the world through good works. During this Sacred Season, the Sun makes the journey through ALL Capricorn and the first half of Aquarius. There is always a *catalyst* (the first contact) then a *review* (pull back to go forward) and finally, fortified with healing and new information, *forward* movement. For those who have been consciously working on their healing processes for the last 10-12 years, the Healing Trinity is really solidifying all that work and rewarding all that dedication by fusing the fragments of your Soul, strengthening you for the next leg of your journey. The Sun has its annual cycle through the zodiac, however, Pluto is only in a sign for 10-20 years at a time and takes 248+ years to cycle through the zodiac. Pluto is the Purifier and the Sun represents your core essential Self. Every year they get together and clear out more of the deep, karmic debris within each individual, as well as the collective. Reflect on how your belief system was deeply altered and/or integrated over the years of 1995-2008 as Pluto moved through Sagittarius. Now that you're clear on what you believe to be "true", the shift of Pluto in to Capricorn initiates a new 16-year process of healing and purification.
