Beginnings Are Delicate, Yet Vital

The following 4 entries started out as one article of "Highlights" and quickly became individual "Details" and still requires even more in-depth exploration (and explanation). I will be writing follow up articles to most of what follows as their combined influence stretches far and wide. However, this initial period is most important for setting the tone and attracting all that you need, desire and deserve in order to best navigate this time. The more consciously we all move through this period of time, the better positioned we'll be to build/expand in the future. Take in whatever you can, work on what intuitively jumps out as *vital* for you personally, and come back to visit the rest periodically over the next year.

Large individual and collective patterns are unfolding at this time. Control is an illusion. I looked up the origins of the word "control" and found: contra (against) roll (wheel turning). Only humans oppose Nature, all other lifeforms just Adapt. Another take on the word "control" was "to check, verify, regulate". Now, as a supposedly "evolved" species, perhaps we could use our intelligence, awareness, technology and Infinite ingenious gifts we possess, naturally I might add, to work *WITH Life* ~ with Mother Earth ~ with Nature ~ with Cycles. We cannot control or predict EVERYTHING, but there are loose guidelines upon which we can depend for certain periods of time and at regular intervals. The following is a snapshot of *now* to get you started. The last Sacred Season of the Solar year and the Forecast is coming the first week of November ~ stay tuned!

During this Scorpio time of year, Chiron's mythology becomes interesting, as he was known for consciously choosing death, and in this case, his journey through Aquarius suggests that community along with individuals' special gifts & healing abilities ~ have all been undergoing a major healing and transformation. Allowing the ego-based, separatist thinking to die so that a rebirth of communal living and the honoring of all living things can re-emerge. This is micro-to-macro, yes on a collective level we are definitely going through this, but on an individual level as well.

Astrological Secrets for the New Millennium

Neptune is dissolving the "old" vision, the "old" form ~ of your life and the life of the planet. It is dissolving boundaries between you and everything ~ all is ONE and you can feel this on a visceral level now more than ever (even if we all periodically struggle to articulate it). This process through Aquarius is preparing all of us for a 14-year Piscean process, closing out 165-year Cycle for Neptune. This is 'back to the womb' ~ this is a major *Completion* for the collective. 1998 - 2012, the Aquarius lesson of "detachment" has been working on the collective consciousness. The Leo/Aquarius dynamic is all about having the courage to love and be your authentic Self, grounded, centered and ecstatically dedicated to sharing that Light with the community. During Neptune's journey through Pisces, we are being prepared for re-birth in Aries (a major *Initiation*) ~ before we can BE brand new Beings, we must RE-Connect with our innate intuition, our natural compassion and our own divinity. Keeping in mind, always, with the Virgo/Pisces axis, it is "Service" ~ not 'servant' ~ leading by example, teaching people to be self-sufficient is much more loving ~ and Virgo would say 'more useful' ~ than wearing your Self out in the process of taking care of others perfectly capable of taking care of themselves. (It is a completely different matter for those who are truly in need.)

Use the Healing Trinity's combined potency to tap true Source energy. All wounds can be healed, scars can fade and a stronger foundation can (and will) naturally emerge. Jupiter helps you express a New Truth/New Story. Chiron helps you self-heal and share your process with others so they too can benefit from your healing process. Neptune reconnects you to Source ~ God ~ Great Spirit ~ Unity of the Highest Order. Fusion. Strength. Flexibility. Endurance. Awareness. Wholeness is a choice, maintaining it is a commitment. You are worth the effort. Take some time to reflect and set intentions for healing. Even if you cannot articulate things specifically, open to healing, open to wholeness, open to balance, open to support and protection, open to preserving your life. Just be Open, Receptive and Willing.

It has been said many times, "We live in interesting times." It may be challenging to "multi-task" with all these simultaneous activations, and you don't want to scatter what little energy you may have to devote to your Self, so be sure to take some "Intentional Solitude" to reflect on which of these activations will *SUPPORT* you while prepare to take on other activations whenever you can. It would be better to strengthen one aspect of your Being, than to half-step on ALL. Choose one thing to focus on and watch for better results!

Balance & Purification ~ Leads to Renewed Truth & Purpose

Fall Equinox kicked off an on-going stream of activations and this week is pivotal. Pivotal as in ~ shifting you and your attention toward a new direction. It is going to be intense and rapid-fire, now thru the first week of November. This week initiates the Healing Trinity's renewed forward movement. Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune have been Retrograde for the last several months. This has turned the healing focus *INWARD* and there has been a tremendous amount of permanent healing done on the Individual level, so that once all three planets are forward again, you are in a stronger position to contribute, and then the Healing focus will shift back toward the Collective. This potent combo is facilitating the necessary healing and fusion (for Earth and ALL Life) before we can fully function at this Higher Vibratory Frequency. We are in, and approaching even more, decidedly *NEW* territory. Properly navigating *NOW* is essential to your ultimate success with whatever your focus may be at this time.

Ceres (what/how you nurture) moves in to Scorpio ~ the focus shifts from Libra, wanting to purify and nurture your relationships and environment ~ *SURFACE* issues ... to Scorpio, *BELOW* the surface issues. What seeds are germinating in YOUR darkness? Think Garden: What needs a pruning/clearing so it can thrive and grow better? Scorpio is the lesson of karma and the most potent, creative energy in the zodiac. Ruled by Pluto, it is your connection and experience of power and all the issues that go with having any amount of power, let alone the enormous amount afforded the average human. Be mindful that anytime ANY planet is in Scorpio, molecules are moving and forming with lightning speed ~ anything you *think* can (and often will) manifest sooner than later. Stay in the Light as much as possible, composting any negative energy so it can be fuel rather than poison.

Venus (values, priorities, resources, love, art, beauty, culture) moves in to Libra, where She is most 'at home'. Venus rules Taurus and Libra, expanding our concepts of kinship, sustenance and beauty. In Libra, we are restoring balance within the individual and cultivating cleaner connections with others. It is truly time to renew solid relationships and release toxic ones. This is a time to beautify your Self and your Sacred Space, work on your art, create and socialize in loving, happy circles with other creative, progressive souls.

Mars (what we deeply desire/what we are passionate about) moves in to Leo where it will initiate a 7-Month journey/process, including a Retrograde which only happens every 2 years. Mars in Leo connects you with your inner *FIRE* ... who are you? what do you want? what gets you fired up? what are you passionate about, willing to fight for and dedicated to protecting? This energy is going to make some people acutely uncomfortable and others will thrive and radiate Light like never before. Love becomes a verb at this time, and as you learn to love your Self, you are better able to give and receive love out in the world. Pay attention to events which occur now (Oct 16th) to Winter Solstice (Dec 21st) because this will be the material of Mars' Retrograde (Dec 20, 2009 - Mar 10, 2010). The beauty of a Retrograde is second chances, so pay attention, it will be decades before we get this specific opportunity again. We are defining what we want for ourselves and our Source, Mother Earth, and making love a *VERB* ~ for both.

All this is leading up to the Libra New Moon (Oct 18th). Aries Full Moon shined a bright light on that which is no longer part of your Identity, what you no longer want/desire in your life. As you begin to more fully express this "new you", the more your partnerships and relationships will also have to adjust. The Libra New Moon is an excellent time to set your intentions for restored Balance within your own Being, enabling healthier relationships. Keep in mind you will always attract your *Vibrational Match* ... how's your vibe these days? Inviting, welcoming ... or ... guarded and doubtful?

Major shifts are occurring in this short periods of time, not giving anyone very much time to process before another one occurs. Somehow, this is perfect, Divine Order. I also notice an ebb and flow with it. We are being pelted now (Sept/Oct) but after the first week of November, planetary movement is pretty minimal (though activations continue) but that will likely be a time when you can really digest and assimilate all the 'old' leaving, 'new' coming in and general transition of 2009. And whether you celebrate Thanksgiving or not, it is an excellent time to bask in *GRATITUDE* for all your lessons and all your blessings. Based on all you've learned and integrated, what will you create in the coming year?

Back in December 2008, Pluto was working (for the first time) directly with the personal planets in Capricorn, clearing space for what Saturn in Virgo is ready to build *NOW*. As Saturn moves in to Libra over the next year, it will spend close to 3 years working with the Lord of Transformation to lay the foundation for the next 30 years (and beyond). This suggests that ... the thread that links *ALL* LIFE on this planet and the duality that forces us to cultivate balance (Libra) in our every move is the MOST IMPORTANT factor when considering what we will build (with Capricorn) to serve and support a large group of people (culture, community, country, society at large). The lessons of Libra and Capricorn are *BALANCE* and *RESPONSIBILITY* (respectively). The planets facilitating these lessons are Saturn and Pluto, who will teach you these lessons each in their own unique way, but bring them together and you will truly not be the same person on the other side of these particular activations, nor will it be the same physical world.

Saturn teaches through exposing the cracks in your personal foundation, where you are weak, fearful, frustrated, stagnated, and where you lack commitment and inner authority to make good choices for the long term/big picture (30 year cycle). (Whatever Sign your Saturn is in will have further implications worth examining.) Pluto teaches through exposing your deepest, darkest fears and blowing up any pent up, repressed, unexpressed natural energies ... leaving you raw, completely vulnerable and without any visible assistance (Invisible Assistance is needed here and always available). Pluto is the Ultimate Healer because it goes to the *ROOT* and prepares a truly *CLEAN & CLEAR* space for rebirth or re-creation to happen. You should want this clean start, because very often, 'how you start is how you finish'. So your own inner toxicity levels will determine how long and difficult the clean up will be. Whatever is dead within or around you must be removed for new life to even be able to take root. Pluto in Capricorn will leave us all with a renewed commitment to being responsible, individually and collectively, for the planet (and anything else) which gives and supports LIFE. We know the macro level manifestation of this, but on an individual level, what are you doing to clear a space, to live a life that PRESERVES LIFE & LIGHT?

These two TOGETHER ~ yikes! Change is inevitable, so you should consciously co-create when it is possible ... which is ALWAYS!! Your thoughts, feelings, words and deeds all manifest and, therefore, contribute to the collective results. This will not be easy, but it can be beautiful. We have a double dose of Saturn because it also rules Capricorn, which leads me to believe that we are *BUILDING* twice as much as we are *BULL-DOZING* (with Pluto). Pluto's most delicious contribution to Saturn's 'building' is that this is an unprecedented opportunity to build on *CLEAN* slate! Venus gets involved as She is the ruler of Libra and this too, is poignant. This reminds me of a quote from one of my teachers, on Venus ...

Venus rules what we cultivate, where our priorities lie and what we value most about life. Adding Her to this potent mix can ONLY HELP! Venus also rules magnetics, how/what/who you attract. Venus is considered a personal planet; Saturn, a social planet; and Pluto, a collective planet. Venus has an 8 year Cycle; Saturn, a 28 year Cycle; and Pluto, a 248 year Cycle. So you can see how each affects us at these different levels, and now, simultaneously. It's now officially *ALL* vital ~ individuals / communities / species ~ ALL are vital and participating in the current evolution.

You can (and will) contribute to this evolution in ways that are likely closest to your own nature. Do you do things with calm, ease and grace? Or do you plan and execute with force and sheer will? Would you like to change from one way, to the other? Ahhh ... where does this lead? Right back to *BALANCE*. How about a delicious combination, in equal measure (by your own definition), the strong commitment and unwavering dedication (it usually requires to 'plan and execute with force') ... and ... self-assured grace, style and faith in Divine Time & Order. Yummmm! Use the available Elements, Air & Earth, at their most challenging and creative combination. This takes ideas and concepts and makes them tangible and 'real' (in some way). We must have balanced, creative thought ~co-creating~ with physical work in order to create positive, tangible, useful results. Squares in astrology sometimes mean "squaring off" and sometimes "crossroads/turning points" but always, they mean "moving out of a comfort zone and in to new territory". And from several years of close observation, I can attest to them also manifesting in both challenging and exciting, happy and sad, productive and debilitating ways. It usually comes down to your own individual nature, your available inner strength and fortitude, your personal view of the circumstances (pessimistic or optimistic) and ultimately, your faith and innate desire.

What do you want? How do you define "quality" of life? These *3* planets will assist with this very process ... aahhh - another useful Trinity! Tune in. Invite their energies to animate through you, in the Highest possible way. Embody each planet in the most positive way you can conjure at this time. Co-create. It is time. Eclipses are all about *LIGHT* distribution. We always talk about "BEING the Light" ... "Embodying the Light" ... recently Caroline W. Casey used "Translating the Light" and I came across an eclipse picture, "Catching the Light" ... Tis the Season of Light! We have an unprecedented opportunity to tap in to this *Light* energy for deep soul work, fusion and strength and the calls have been a tremendous resource for all who participate, near and far.

This two week period between the Capricorn Full Moon / Lunar Eclipse and the Cancer Super / New Moon / Solar Eclipse is your opportunity for a *CLEANSING* ... to *RELEASE* the true potential of the seeds you planted at the Capricorn *NEW* Moon December 27, 2008, clearing a space for your intentions to manifest. You can *CLEAR* blockages where your 'flow' is concerned; you can see the Divine Order in delays; you can release fear and over-sensitivity; and with all the releasing you do, keep in mind you are *CLEARING* that which is no longer necessary to the structure and foundation (Capricorn) of your life. Acknowledge any regrets, mourn any losses and say goodbye to the past, while acknowledging that your journey thus far has led you to here. Now, it is time to *BUILD* a life based on a reality of your own choosing and definition, a life you create with your *HEART* and your own two hands. I love Eckhart's question: "Can I BE the SPACE for This?" Can you "be the space" for ... Quality of Life. Present Moment. Laughter. Silence. Sunshine. Rain. Rhythm. How are you preparing the structure of your body, your life and your life's work to handle what you say you WANT? Are you READY? If so, BUILD! If not, continue to PREPARE until you are!

This is no small cycle, it is 9-10 years and 18-20 years long. 1990-1992 was Capricorn and 2000-2002 was Cancer, so our individual experience of this energy is going to be: some are at the point of CLOSING out the last 20 years and INITIATING the new 20 years (before we experience the current energy again). Note that *NOW* is the Capricorn cycle which is further intensified by Pluto's 16 year journey simultaneously. Some will be attuned to the Cancer cycle, the half-way point, and will get to their completion/initiation in 9-10 years (2018-2020) when we hit Cancer again. Be assured that we are *ALL* deeply processing *BOTH* on some level, probably wherever Cancer/Capricorn resides in your chart. I highly recommend the Divinations for this special Lunation and recent calls.

Every astrologer has their primary focus, and one of mine is: *CYCLES*. 6-Months of the year, we are reaching toward the life-giving Sun, while the Light lasts longer, facilitating blooming and blossoming within and without ... now we are shifting toward the next 6-Months of focusing on *ROOTS* ~ anchoring all that we've seeded this year and working behind the scenes, remembering that 'seeds germinate in the darkness' so Mother, in Her Infinite Wisdom, has encoded this *RHYTHM* within all living Beings. What will ground and sustain you during transition and the general storms of life on Earth? What is working - what is not? As you connect with what you've co-created this year, rather than allow the distraction of what DID NOT happen as you planned (or at all), focus on *PRESERVING* the best aspects of what you did create. In other words, work with what you have, *BUILD* on what is delicious and juicy and full of flava! and throw the rest either back in the cauldron for further cooking or out to the compost pile to be recycled altogether. It is time to find ALL the possibilities in the Here & Now in preparation for clearing and planting new seeds come Winter Solstice 2009.

We just passed Summer Solstice and move toward the mid-point to Fall Equinox, some call it Lammas, another Sacred Season and energetic shift that happens around August 1st or when the Sun hits 15° Leo (August 8th). With Pluto intensifying things and the Eclipses bringing sudden endings and new beginnings and Venus/Mars traveling together, tag-teaming the larger Cycles (Healing Trinity and Saturn/Uranus among them), it can feel overwhelming at times. However, that is not the best use of this energy. Right now, up to August 8th, you should be conscious of all that you have created and helped to grow. Then August 8th to Fall Equinox you should be assessing the results of your choices, thoughts, words and actions throughout the year and extending your current resources to sustain you when you close out the year, rest, replenish and initiate the new year at Winter Solstice. And how *PERFECT* is the cycle between Fall Equinox and Winter Solstice is Samhain (15° Scorpio / Nov 8th), All Saint's Day (Nov 1-2), Halloween (Oct 31) ~ a time we, in the Power Circle, devote to honoring the *ANCESTORS* ... so you get to process your year, and call on your Invisible Helpers for additional guidance and direction, then pull inward to hold your own counsel before planting the seeds of the *NEW*. Yummmmmm!
