~ New Beginnings ~ Initiation ~ ReBirth ~

When I dare to be powerful,

to use my strength in the service of my vision,

Living on planet Earth is about natural rhythm and this is an *Initiation* of a new Annual cycle when the Sun enters Aries, the Infant on the Karmic Wheel. *Spring* Equinox honors the Light and initiates forward movement. Whatever additional Planetary Alignments of the time assist, by contributing their power and lessons to the energetic mix. This year, there are many assistants to your *process* of unfoldment, but the *stars* of this initiation are:

16 years ~ Pluto in Capricorn (transformation of reality)

3 years ~ Saturn Retrograde in Libra (restructuring relationships)

8 months ~ Mars in Leo (courage & authenticity)

1 of 12 years ~ Jupiter (truth/story) and ...

7 of 84 years ~ Uranus (freedom/liberation) in Pisces (completion of 7yrs) and moving in to Aries this summer (initiation of 7yrs)

On-going themes still apply, like the Saturn/Uranus, but herein I am referring to the current ANNUAL cycle. And Pluto in Capricorn engages every Equinox and Solstice every year until 2024. Pluto is purifying and transforming what you are truly responsible for, which is ultimately your contribution. A new beginning ~ fresh start ~ clean slate ... and who better to assist with clearing the debris and releasing the non-essential to make *room* for your 'new beginning' ~ than Pluto, Lord of Purification & Transformation. Your essential nature (Sun) and the purest, deepest part of you (Pluto) connect in a rhythm every year, four times a year for 16 years (2008-2024) that Pluto is in Capricorn. As it reshapes you from the inside out, so too will the collective shapeshift.

These connections, which the planets make to each other, facilitate movement and necessary change. If you are ready, open and receptive, they ASSIST you in moving to the next level, creating tangible results and measurable progress. If you are not ready, narrow-minded and/or resistant to change, then yes, it is going to be more challenging ... but you'll be in new territory nonetheless. Perhaps facing these crossroads and choices will make you more amenable to the current shifts within the very essence of your Being. Most of you know by now, I am ALL ABOUT THE CONSCIOUS CO-CREATION with the available energies. The *Initiation* is *Winter* Solstice, when Sun/Pluto get together, increase each other's power to purify you and your intentions for the coming new year. They advise, "First, you must rest, replenish, mature and gather strength (power)." *Spring* and *Fall* Equinox, when Sun/Pluto have to consciously work out their differences, and you are moved to a new level of understanding by choice or by force, it's up to you and your consciousness to decide. Both Equinoxes bring the push to the next level in their individual ways. *Spring* Equinox is about initiation, new beginnings, getting things moving in a forward direction. *Fall* Equinox is about assessment of the harvest, how productive and effective you have been throughout the year. Both require decisions and are dynamic in nature, facilitating actual change. *Summer* Solstice, when Sun/Pluto have to balance and integrate all that you've initiated at Spring-time; it's a time of blossoming and expanding and you are moved to accommodate all that you've created in new, innovative ways.

Pisces 2009 Forecast

This month you should keep in mind that there are many larger energies moving in the background of what I cover herein. These larger themes influence the monthly energies we all experience.

*Saturn in Virgo ~ Opposite ~ Uranus in Pisces ~ is moving individuals and the collective in to new territory and only bringing that which is healthy, balanced, stable and sustainable from the past. This energy forces you to break old patterns ... just remember to CREATE *NEW* ones too! Intent is key!

*Leo/Aquarius Eclipses ~ are still fresh in the air indicating the crossroads we all face with learning to love Self and serve the Community. The Eclipses generally shake things up to give you the opportunity to make adjustments or corrections in these areas of your life. This is sometimes creative, sometimes chaotic, most often, both. It is, however, the best time to discover how amazing it feels to be a part of something bigger than your personal drama, the perfect time to set aside ego, lighten up a bit and look around for who/what needs your energy? your contribution? your unique gift?

*Jupiter in Aquarius ~ is in the background all year stirring up the Aquarius section of our individual and collective lives. It is bringing *IDEALS* in to the light to be examined. How have your ideals shifted over the last 12 years? What ideals would you like to be experiencing for the next 12 years? It’s journey last year, through Capricorn, should’ve revealed what/how you want to contribute to society; this year, through Aquarius, you will learn where it is most needed; next year, through Pisces, you will infuse it with your Spirit; and when Jupiter hits Aries, you better be ready to *LIVE* your NEW Story!

*Pluto in Capricorn ~ is initiating a 16-year journey through the Capricorn section of our lives, purifying and distilling our society to reflect a more global Truth & Purpose, which serves and supports ALL LIFE. Ahh, there is much work to be done, yes, but just think how wonderful to have the power of Pluto assisting us.

Mars/Jupiter in Aquarius

Developing Our Humanity & Consciousness

Astrology, like life, is never simply composed of ONE - anything. We are multi-dimensional beings, as is the planet we live on and the Universe to which we belong. So I should say that the 'highlight' of this article is Mars Conjunct Jupiter in Aquarius (happening Tues/February 17th) but as I am gathering my thoughts on this one thing, 10 other aspects of *now* jump in to my awareness as if to say to me, "Don't forget about me! Remind them about me too!"

Sun got together with Neptune in Aquarius on February 12th, dissolving any rough edges to your core being and then March 12th, Sun will align with Uranus in Pisces to help you remember how connected you are to the planet and every living thing. Venus and Mars are interacting, giving us opportunities to put our newly balanced masculine/feminine natures in to practice in real-time and with Jupiter right next to Mars, this EXPANDS the whole concept, along with Juno in this same mix, you are getting an extra boost of commitment to maintaining this balance. Your core being (Sun) is getting a similar opportunity to demonstrate any strides you've made in the purification/transformation department of your life (Pluto). As these energies contribute to the alchemical mix of the week, truly, anything is possible! And the highest possibility could be using the Mars/Jupiter combo to get out of your comfort zone and courageously initiate (Mars) a new aspect of your own personal story (Jupiter), something that will allow you to participate with a group of like-minded souls (Aquarius), pursuing a larger Truth which benefits the many.

So, back to my original point, Mars, the planet of energy, passion, action, our desire nature and warrior spirit ~ is ~ connecting with Jupiter, the planet of expansion, consciousness and Truth. They are connecting in Aquarius, which you would think would give these two the "detachment" that Aquarius so brilliantly teaches all of us and it WILL for those blessed souls well-anchored on their path and who consciously direct these energies. This is a beautiful opportunity to experiment (Aquarius) with a broader perspective of what you truly believe and what you can actually 'do' to live in harmony with your deepest faith and philosophy of life. These two getting together will prompt you to take action (Mars) on your personal Truth & Story (Jupiter). Or perhaps give you the courage (Mars) to at least FACE your personal Truth and Story (Jupiter) ... how are you both (you and your 'story') developing at this time? Tuning in to this energy is also activating Juno, connecting you to the healing and renewed commitment necessary to live your new Truth & Purpose in a way that genuinely serves the community (Aquarius) and in a way you which may not have been able to ... until now.

12:12 ~ Portals and Choices and Crossroads ... OH MY!

Completion ~ Initiations & Cycles of *NOW* ... In my own search for how to maximize the potential of the current energies, I explored the Grand Mutable Cross contributing to the upcoming Gemini Super / Full Moon, and many additional thoughts were illuminated.

The planetary alchemical mix of the moment is: Sun/Mars (who you are / what you want) together in Sag (truth) in the 10th House (responsibility & contribution in the world) ~ opposite ~ Full/Super Moon (intense & rare) in Gemini (thoughts, ideas, concepts & their expression) in the 4th House (about home, home-base, sacred space, where you replenish and gather nutrient so that you are capable of going in the world to serve). Saturn in Virgo has spent the entire month off to the side, purifying and healing (Virgo) various aspects, not the least of which is our DEFINITIONS. You will have to define-anew this particular dynamic, and that is not easy on a good day, but it is totally worth the effort to do whatever you can to contribute to the current evolution. This kind of personal makeover, especially where home and work is concerned, is ultimately teaching each of us that our definitions of "quality of life" are in our own hands to determine. You have to choose who you are at home and work and, now more than ever, get the two fully integrated ... particularly if there is a significant discrepancy. Are you the same person at home as you are out in the world? Are you doing work that matters to you?

The combination of these 5 planets (number of change) is creating a critical mass, moving you along whether you consciously participate or not, and have drawn us a literal crossroads in the sky pointing us to which areas of life require major decisions at this time. Full Moon is usually about assessing, pruning and releasing the non-essential so that all involved is strengthened and fortified. Use this two week period to get your head straight, question all your ideas for their worthiness in the here and now, allow some free-flow, experimental ideas to rise to the surface of your consciousness, and question them as well. Explore, gather data (Gemini) from a variety of sources, least of all the intellect. Use the mutable sign energies of your intuition (Pisces) and discernment (Virgo), to gather the facts (Gemini) and determine (or define) your personal Truth (Sag) in the areas of home (4th House) and work (10th House), connecting deeply to your own self-worth and value (2nd House) as well as your ability to shapeshift as needed (8th House).
